Animazement There was a lot going on at Animazement but I will say that Animazement was the best place for cosplaying Ever since we were young many of us dreamed of growing up to become our favorite video game or anime character. Life Is Strange A new Life Is Strange: Before The Storm trailer is out now and it shows just how some of Life Is Strange's characters started to hate each other more If you've played Life Is Strange already then you know well about the strained relationship between Chloe and her "new step-douche" David. There is no denying the level of animosity between the two characters and in the new "expansion" that Deck Nine Games is bringing to us all on August 31st we are going to see just a bit more on how all of that grew to where we saw it last. Wolfenstein A lot of new gameplay for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus has been released and we get to see Wolfenstein's take on Roswell and all the aliens there If there is one thing, we have not been in a drought of gameplay for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. It almost seems like we can't go a full week without some new bit of gameplay for the game getting placed out to excite and titillate. It's almost like Machine Games doesn't want there to be any surprises when Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus launches on October 27th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Then again, this could just be faith in the project that Bethesda has so that we can get almost an hour more of gameplay and still have so much yet to be seen and experienced in the full game. Gaming During Animazement 2017 there was a lot of gaming going on and I was out there to check out all the fun anime and gaming things Anime has long held an influence in the world of video games. During gaming's rise to prominence within mainstream culture during the 70s and 80s which was helped greatly by a little known Japanese company that is still around today, Nintendo is a global giant in video games and has been for decades. While gaming was becoming increasingly popular so has anime with shows like Mobile Suit Gundam and Speed Racers. Manga, which much anime is derived from, had been around for much longer, but its expansion into becoming animated only helped it to grow and evolve. Read More...

Minecraft We sit down and review Minecraft: Story Mode — Hero In Residence. This is the first episode of Telltale's second take on Mojang's famed Minecraft franchise. Here's our review on how they did It's time to kick off yet another season for Minecraft: Story Mode as the first episode has dropped on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices with it coming soon to the Switch. All of this is something you should have known by now, but none the less Telltale Games is back at it trying to give us a great story set in the universe that Mojang has crafted that only has stories if we so define them. Agents Of Mayhem The latest squad for Agents Of Mayhem has been revealed and they come with all the lack of tact that Agents Of Mayhem should be bringing us all Since Agents Of Mayhem is launching so soon, August 15th still, it is time we rounded out all of those squads and characters that we will get to play here in a few weeks. We all want to know that characters a bit more, even if it isn't through gameplay, just to see just whom we might be favoring when we jump into Volition's new title. The Walking Dead During SDCC it was revealed that The Walking Dead from Telltale will be getting one more season to wrap up The Walking Dead story we've been waiting for There was a lot of good news to come out of SDCC this year but what we have here is a mix of good and bad as The Walking Dead: The Final Season has been announced to be in the works and heading to us sometime in 2018. Obviously we can see the good news here as we will get to see Clementine back in action and dig into some of the best storytelling that Telltale Games can offer, but it also means that all of this will be coming to an end here. I'm going to go on a limb and guess this is due to the fact that The Walking Dead is over saturating the market with all of the other titles they have coming out there, but it could just be that the team wants to move on to other things or maybe other aspects of the universe. Night Trap The release date for Night Trap, the 25th anniversary version, has been set and is bringing some extra Night Trap features never before played It's seems that the re-release of Night Trap only missed the initial release window by a short time, but now we know that if you are looking for the game on the PS4 and PC you can look toward August 15th now to get your hands on some of that sweat "retro" gaming action. ECHO The release date for ECHO has been set and now we can sit back and wait for ECHO to hit the PS4 and PC in September It has been some time since we heard or saw anything new for ECHO but it looked rather impressive last year when the first bit of gameplay dropped out there. This isn't to be mistaken for the most recent VR title to come out; this one is being done by the team over at Ultra Ultra and is not a VR thing as of yet. This ECHO title is all based around us taking control of a character to try and survive a sentient Palace that learns our moves and actions to use them all against us. Hellblade We now have a small tease at one of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice's features coming with the game that will focus on Hellblade's psychosis & how it was used in game By now we all know that Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is going to have some deep-rooted ideas and looks at "insanity" and psychosis in the game. The titular character suffers from some of it and Ninja Theory has been pretty open about talking to many scholars and those who suffer from similar ailments to make sure they are able to represent the whole thing properly. Batman During SDCC Batman: The Enemy Within has been announced and will continue the story that Batman: The Telltale Series started for us all So many things received the announcement out at SDCC and it sucks that Batman: The Enemy Within fell through the cracks over here. Especially given that the first episode is set to drop on August 8th next week and the fact that this IP has been one of the better ones in Telltale Games' basket for a while now. At least it has been for me and I have been wanting more of this Batman for quite some time now that the season ended for the other one. I just want to see where it all goes and how all of the choices will alter this brave new world for the character and all of the villains I made or took down over the course of it all. Read More...

Life Is Strange A new behind the scenes video for Life Is Strange: Before The Storm is here to give some insight on the story for these two Life Is Strange characters before launch In a month, August 31st, we will get our first episode for Life Is Strange: Before The Storm and we've seen some fun stuff for it so far. At least enough to see that Deck Nine Games is going to be telling a prequel of sorts from the last title and that it won't feature the same protagonist and the super time-bending powers. Hellblade Another trailer for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has been released this week and goes into more on how Hellblade will be getting some PS Pro features & more It's always a good week when we get two big updates for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice as earlier in the week we caught wind that there was to be a Photo Mode in the game to capture all of the fun, and now we are back to see just how amazing some of those shots can be with the PS4 Pro features getting added on in and some of the video output specification the game will have for the PC version. Call Of Duty The Nazi Zombies mode for Call Of Duty: WWII was fully shown off at SDCC and a whole lot of new Call Of Duty: WWII information came with it Unless you've been hiding under a rock and skipped all of the Call Of Duty: WWII news from last week, then you most likely saw the officially announcement of the Nazi Zombies mode that will be coming to the game when it launches on November 3rd.
