Shadow Of War
Another tribe of Orcs for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has been shown off and now we have to look out for the Marauders in Shadow Of War among others
The next tribe of Orcs for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is up and ready for us to check out. It looks like we may be getting a new one each week leading up to October 10th when the game lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC at this rate. That is of course if Monolith Productions has crafted that many different factions of Orcs to thwart our progress in the game. That would put us at a total of eight different tribes in Shadow Of War when all is said and done and that does not seem like too tall of an order. I guess we will find out in the coming weeks though and either be surprised or not. I am just saying that it feels like that is the case at this point.
Anyways, here we go with the Marauder Tribe for Shadow Of War and they seem to be more of a basic tribe compared to all of the other ones so far. We have had the tribe that is all about the pain and another that is all about the horrible machines to kill everyone, but here we see the tribe that looks to be all about the "bling." That is of course all based on all of the gold that they are wearing throughout the trailer that we have here. That and that they are also all about the grog and drinking. This makes the choice in music for the trailer a bit more understandable even though it really does not fit the whole Shadow Of War theme. But hey, marketing and such all…
Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War — Marauder Tribe
The Marauder tribe, a faction of Orcs who specialize in pillaging and feasting on whatever they conquer, leaving only splinters and bones behind. In Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War, Orcs now belong to tribes, which extend their influence stemming from the Overlords ruling the mighty fortresses throughout the open world, providing a rich ecosystem of missions, exploration and a dynamic Orc society with diverse Orc cultures, all brought to life through the expanded Nemesis System. For the Marauder tribe, battles are just a prelude to the real action—toasting the Dark Lord's power over the sweet taste of grog.
While it may feel like they are not a true fit in Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War based on all of this, I will say that I have had the pleasure of playing the game against these guys in the past and they do lead to some interesting missions and outcomes. Specifically one instance where you can use all of their casks ale against them by poisoning them and if you are caught, it seems they are more upset that you tried to do that instead of just infiltrating the stronghold. At least that is how it felt when I had the chance to experience them all. Nonetheless, it can fit even though the video we have here feels a bit out of place for Shadow Of War.
How do you feel about the Marauders in Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War that we have here? Do you think that we will ultimately see eight different factions or tribes of Orcs before we get to the launch or will Monolith Productions have a lower cap to it all? What other kind of tribe can you see making it into the game based on what we have seen so far? Give us all of those thoughts and discussions down in the comments. We will definitely have more on Shadow Of War as October 10th gets closer, so be sure to keep checking in on the site here to see and experience it all.
