Mafia The next Mafia title is on the way to us with the full announcement we have for Mafia: The Old Country out of Gamescom Just as the rumors were speculating, we have the announcement for Mafia: The Old Country fresh out of Gamescom to keep the IP flowing on out there. It is another fun entry from Hangar 13 along with 2K again, but this one will not be pushing us all forward in time. Marvel Rivals The release date for Marvel Rivals is set down with a few more characters joining the roster for Marvel Rivals Fresh off the heels of the closed beta and right at the opening of Gamescom this year, Marvel Rivals now has a full release date for us to look forward to. A date that is not as far off as many would have thought with how much more NetEase Games was looking to put into the game. A release date that will allow all who want to play this free-to-play game on December 6th with their PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A solid little update for Marvel Rivals, but that is not where it all ended for this one either. Read More...

Borderlands 4 Is Announced & On The Way To Us All Next Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of August 2024 - 05:00 PM ]
Borderlands Another Borderlands is on the way with Borderlands 4 getting a full announcement during Gamescom this year While it seems like it was held well under wraps before now, we have the full announcement that Borderlands 4 is on the way and coming in 2025. The writing was kind of on the wall with some of the other versions of the IP that Gearbox has been pushing out there but they took to Gamescom with 2K to show it all off. Something I am sure they were hoping would have made a bigger splash with the recent release of the Borderlands film, hence another of the clues that hinted that this was going to be an announcement. I am getting off the topic though. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 8/12/24 — 8/16/24
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of August 2024 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week has come to a close and this one was packed with way more than expected with what is coming in the next week for all of our video games. That being Gamescom is in the works and one would think that studios and publishers would have held back. Thankfully, that was not the case with a whole lot dropping for Call Of Duty, Alien: Rogue Incursion, and Five Nights At Freddy’s. That last one is having a nice little celebration, so that makes sense, but video games like Mortal Kombat 1 feel like they could have waited for the hyped-up week to drop this new information. This Week In Video Games 8/5/24 — 8/9/24
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of August 2024 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, this was a much bigger week for video games than we could have expected, but a solid one still. After SDCC and now the upcoming Gamescom, I was under the impression it was going to be a slower one, between Call Of Duty and Epic Mickey, we had a whole lot drop on us and with massive names in the mix. A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead and Gori: Cuddly Carnage also got a nice highlight out there and then there is the Five Nights At Freddy’s celebration going on add into so much out there. Not to mention new video games coming from Tarsier Studios in the mix of things too. Read More...

Swing The Pendulum & Figure Out What Is Real In The Occultist
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of August 2024 - 07:00 PM ]
Occultist Take on a new supernatural world with The Occultist as we get to see just what this occultist might be able to do out there Well, it looks like the horror of the world will still carry on into 2025, not a huge surprise, but at least we will have The Occultist to help with all of that. No, I am not talking about the specific Hellscape that we find ourselves in right now, but the world that DALOAR and Daedalic Entertainment are building for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for 2025. Even if it would be a nice change of pace to see this kind of survival horror out there in the world instead of the one we have now. I am getting off-topic, though, so let us dig further into The Occultist and just what this new announcement is going to offer us all when the game does launch out there. Read More...

Tarsier Studios Is Gearing Up To Give Us A New & Unannounced Project
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of August 2024 - 07:00 PM ]
Tarsier Studios Tarsier Studios is working on another title out there for us and it looks like it could be linked to other Tarsier Studios’ productions It has been a few years since we heard anything out of Tarsier Studios and any new projects they may be working on, and we are going to need to wait a little longer. Unless you take the very small teaser that something is coming that was shared during the THQ Nordic showcase as something big for now. Sadly, it is not but it does indicate that Tarsier Studios has something in the works and we will learn about it during Gamescom here soon. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of August 2024 - 05:00 PM ]
Funko Fusion We had a chance to sit down with the team of Funko Fusion during SDCC and have some new details for Funko Fusion out of that Out at SDCC this year, Funko Fusion was on a huge display. The game does hit the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC on September 13th and this would be a great place to show more off to the world. That is where 10:10 Games showed off that Clancy Brown was going to voice the main villain of the game. However, that was not the only big showing of Funko Fusion out there with Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz showing up among the various other IPs that will be in the game. Read More...

The overarching story and not the one for each of the universes that 10:10 Games has been able to add into the IP up to now. Marvel Rivals Shows Off How Heroes Will Always Rise Up To Rival Doom
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 29th of July 2024 - 09:00 PM ]
Marvel Rivals More characters for Marvel Rivals are hitting the Beta along with a new look at just what the fight in Marvel Rivals is about There was little doubt that we were not going to see something massive for Marvel Rivals out of SDCC this year, and it looks like any doubt was pushed away with what they had to show. Not only did the Closed Beta kick off for it, but NetEase Games went out and gave us some more characters to see coming to the game along with a look at just what to expect the whole of the game will be about. All to go along with that big Doctor Doom announcement we had in general, it looks as if that will be spilling over to Marvel Rivals. Read More...
