The next DLC character for Street Fighter V has been announced and shown off as Ibuki joins the ranks of Street Fighter V combatants The next character DLC for Street Fighter V is here and it looks like another blast from the past is joining the ranks. It looks like Capcom went back into the old bin of characters from the expanded roster of the third game and is now bringing us Ibuki to yet another title. She was in Street Fighter IV if memory serves but that doesn't matter as this ninja school girl is coming back and getting a bit of an upgrade to all of the old school tricks she had before. Get ready to be trolled here… As was easy to assume, Ibuki will be bringing back the kunais she is known for as well as all of the ninjitsu training she's been working on since Street Fighter III: New Generation. A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Another week in video games in the bag and now we get to move on to the next. This should have been a slower week given the proximity of E3 now but there was plenty rolling out to get us all prepped for the event. We had a few sneak peeks of sorts with Vampyr and Umbrella Corps here as well as the announcement of a new title Absolver to see. Then of course we were able to get the nice big review for Homefront: The Revolution out there for you after waiting for the updates to fix some of the major issues with the game. Read More...

Another Mafia 3 developer diary of sort has been released showing us just how Mafia 3's city has been brought to life We here it almost in every open world style of video game and it looks like Mafia 3 is joining the ranks of stating that the game's world is a living and breathing character of its own. It is not to shocking to me that Hangar 13 would make the same claims that we hear all the time as they have been working hard to make sure their version of New Orleans feels as authentic as it can for us. We all do demand that Mafia 3 feel as authentic as all of the other games and since they've done it with the music and culture it makes sense to do it with the city. Read More...

Another hero has been added to Paragon's long list and we can all look forward to meeting Paragon's new hero, Riktor in next week's update It looks like we get to add yet another hero to the list of Paragon heroes next week as we have another here with Riktor. Epic Games said they were going to try for something new every three weeks and it looks like they are truly keeping to it. Hopefully this does keep going well after Paragon leaves "early access" on June 7th but that could be one tall order. If anyone is up to it all I am certain they are but let's dig into the new hero Riktor here coming in the next update on May 31st for free. Read More...

New online combat title, Absolver, has been announced and we have a bit of gameplay for Absolver just before the big E3 reveal It looks like we have the first of two titles that Devolver Digital has for us at E3 as Absolver has just been announced and came with a nice new trailer. This would be the new title being crafted by developers Sloclap and it aims to bring us all into an online combat world where we all want to become the best there is. I say that as it looks like Absolver is all about melee combat and not the traditional shooter combat that all of us are used to when it comes to online combat titles. It's not the first of its kind but it does look to try and perfect the craft in their own way. Read More...

We sit down and review Homefront: The Revolution. A reimagining of the franchise to make America great again. Here's our review of Homefront: The Revolution It's been a while coming but Homefront: The Revolution has released and we've been able to dive right into what Dambuster Studios has to offer us. It may not be what was originally in store for us back in the THQ days but since Deep Silver picked up the franchise and put the teams to work to reimagine the game we are in store for another fun ride in a fake historical timeline. It makes sense I swear. Read More...

A new trailer for Ghost Recon Wildlands has been released as well as all of the details on the Ghost Recon Wildlands collector's editions for pre-order It looks like Ubisoft is getting the fun E3 news rolling a little early and it also looks like Ghost Recon Wildlands is going to be one of the game that will be their main focus. This of course makes a whole lot of sense as it was revealed during their press conference last year and next to nothing has come out since. Now we have a nice little trailer to spy upon for Ghost Recon Wildlands a bit early as well as the listing for all of the collector's editions coming for the game. Read More...

A new live action trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been released and perfectly shows off how the events of Deus Ex: Human Revolution has changed the world August 23rd is still a bit out for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided so it is a bit acceptable that we are not getting loads of gameplay video and/or features revealed to us. I have a feeling that will come at E3 where Square Enix already has plans to show things off. Instead we get things like this live action trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided that aims to show us what the world has become after the events of Eidos-Montreal's previous addition into the franchise. Another Final Fantasy XV developer diary of sorts has popped up and again we are treated to more Final Fantasy XV gameplay and history Here we go with yet even more on the Final Fantasy XV updates as we have another developer diary to look upon as we wait for any other real update for the game. I'm guessing Square Enix is saving all of those updates for the bigger events and not just lost in the mix of the normal hustle and bustle. Although if you are willing to take the time and watch the latest video you'll be able to spy just a bit more gameplay for Final Fantasy XV mixed in and get all hyped up for the September 30th release date again. Another trailer for Mighty No. 9 has been released to show off some of Mighty No. 9's special moves, attacks, and combos to pull off Every time I see Mighty No. 9 popping back up in the media it makes me worry that it is going to be delayed yet again. Thankfully though it looks like the June 21st release date that comcept and Deep Silver have set is still on and this is just an update on some other features in the game. So let the celebrating continue as Mighty No. 9 is still locked in and now we just get all kinds of cool things to look at as we head toward that date. Read More...

The release date for Hitman's third episode as well as a lot of details on the hit have been revealed as Hitman is heading to Marrakesh now It is coming in just under the wire but the third episode of Hitman is coming and coming up fast. It does seem like Io Interactive was pushing it out for as much time as possible but none the less the new episode lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 31st. Literally the last day that it could have and still keep the promise of new Hitman content every month from Square Enix right on par. Right up to the last minute but hey, we get to go killing in Marrakesh now. Read More...

Two more iconic maps have been added to Umbrella Corps and we have a look at a whole lot of bonuses available for Umbrella Corps pre-orders Add two more maps to the list of Umbrella Corps maps that we will get to blast our way through on June 21st. It looks like Capcom has brought back both Raccoon City and the RCP building for us to hunt down and kill each other in when the game launches on the PS4 and PC. As if these two locations would be left out of Umbrella Corps in the first place. Thankfully now we get to see both of them in motion for the first time as we let the anticipation for the game kill us like the zombie hordes will do in the game itself. Read More...

A new Mirror's Edge Catalyst trailer has been released and it gives us all a look at why the runners run in the world of Mirror's Edge Catalyst This seems like a silly thing to only be hearing about for Mirror's Edge Catalyst as we are so close to the launch of the game. June 7th isn't that far off now and we are only now hearing about why they run in DICE's next addition to the franchise. Of course this is all in jest and based on the title of the launch trailer for Mirror's Edge Catalyst as we should all know the reason they run by now; at least if you have any interest in the game at all. There are just too many reasons. Read More...

New screenshots for Vampyr have been released and they show off the duality of Vampyr's protagonist as every kill will have an effect on the game's world Slowly but surely we are getting to see Vampyr evolve into an amazing looking title. Now we have a whole new batch of screenshots from Dontnod to show off a bit of the game's world as well as some of the choices that Reid has to make in the game. Reid of course being the main character we will be controlling in Vampyr when it finally hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2017. Hopefully Focus Home Interactive will be able to get this out the door in the earlier parts of the year but I'm going to guess it will be some time in the middle of the year. Read More...

Hit mobile game, PAC-MAN 256, is taking aim for consoles and PC next month and bringing multiplayer to PAC-MAN 256 exclusively for those platforms Legends never die and it looks even more the case now that PAC-MAN 256 is making the leap from mobile devices over to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam here on June 21st. For those not in the know this would be the version of the franchise that Hipster Whale and 3 Sprockets have put together for us all that has won quite a few awards. Now PAC-MAN 256 will try and capture a few more eyes and fans as it goes for more awards with the new release. Read More...
