The first tease for Friday The 13th: The Game's single-player challenges is here and it looks like Friday The 13th may be getting some Hitman style gameplay Those looking for some solid single-player gameplay in Friday The 13th: The Game since launch, it looks like the wait is going to be over soon. This was something that Gun Media had listed on the stretch goals back when they were still looking for funds while IllFonic worked on everything. It was thought that the off-line bots may have been that for Friday The 13th, but now it looks like there is going to be a bit more than that. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more solid week in video games that we had to cover here. So many announcements out there for new games and some coming real soon. I know I was shocked to hear about The Surge 2 so soon and I will always take more story for God Of War as we had here this week. We also received the release date for Vampyr after waiting for so long. All of that and two more gods for Nightmarchers were shown off to get us all ready for that game as well. Read More...

Another beta test for Metal Gear Survive is coming and it looks to offer up a bit more content for Metal Gear Survive than we have seen in the past You will soon have another chance to give Metal Gear Survive a whirl before it launches on February 20th and this time on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It looks like Konami is bringing us all yet another "beta test" of the game shortly before launch. I put the quotes there as it is most likely going to be more of an early demo of Metal Gear Survive and not a true beta test. Read More...

The next deity for Nightmarchers is here and is taking a few jabs at a few other games, as Nightmarchers will now let you transform into a shark in game We have seen Kamohoali'i in past videos for Nightmarchers, but here we go with the full look at the deity in the game and just what we will be getting if we are able to restore the temple. I will admit it seems odd that Wyrmbyte Studios has teased this deity in the past videos only to bring a good look now, but I will not complain about it. Especially since the ability we are granted for helping the god out is the ability to turn into a Shark in Nightmarchers and do what sharks do. Read More...

Add another battle royale game to the genre as we have Egress announced here with Egress also coming sometime in 2018 It looks like the saturation of the Battle Royale genre is coming as we now have Egress announced and coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2018. At least as it has been announced so far from Fazan Games out there here recently. Of course Egress is not going to be just another in the genre in general, it will house a few different features from other games and genres out there to try to mix things up. Like a combat system that is very reminiscent of Dark Souls for starters. Read More...

A new battle royale title, Fear The Wolves, has been announced and Fear The Wolves looks to bring many gamers into the multiplayer world It looks like we are going to have yet another Battle Royale game added into the mix here as Fear The Wolves has been given the full announcement treatment and heading to our PS4, Xbox One, and PCs sometime in 2018. That seems to be like a broken record that is getting played here for Focus Home Interactive titles now. Not a horrible thing as Vostok Games has been working on Fear The Wolves for a while before the official announcement out at the “Le What’s Next de Focus” event that is going on, but it is still something I am taking note of. Get to know the heroes for hire in Far Cry 5 a bit more with some character story and ability breakdowns so you can better clear the cult in Far Cry 5 In Far Cry 5 we already know we will not just be an army of one taking on the villainous cult that has overtaken Hope County. If you did not know that, then you have been missing out on everything that Ubisoft has put out there and need to get on top of that. At least if you have interest in picking up Far Cry 5 on your PS4, Xbox One, or PC on March 27th at least. For those who have been following along, we know that we will be getting "Heroes For Hire" mixed into the fun to bring down the cult and each with their own reasons and abilities to bring with them. The fourth and final behind the scenes video for Vampyr is here and with it comes a look at the storytelling process of the game as well as the release date for Vampyr The final "episode" of the behind the scenes videos for Vampyr is here and with it comes a bit of a nice treat. It is something that we all figured Focus Home Interactive would do now that we are coming to a wrap on all of this, and all those assumptions were correct. That being the release date for Vampyr finally getting revealed for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It makes sense as this seems to be the end of the big push for the video game. Read More...

It has been announced that The Surge 2 is in development and as of right now, The Surge 2 is slated to hit consoles and PC in 2019 It looks like Focus Home Interactive has announced a new title out of Le What’s Next de Focus this year and that title is The Surge 2. After the success of the last one and its DLC, it looks like they have opted to have Deck 13 bring us all a full sequel and bring it to the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 sometime in 2019. Love it or hate it, The Surge 2 is coming and it looks like they are doing what every sequel does; builds upon the past work to make a better title. You thought I was going to say something different there did you not? Read More...

A new story trailer for Past Cure is here and it comes with some new commentary that makes Past Cure's story sound strange but worth the time to look at Leading up to now, we have had some good looks at Past Cure and have been able to gather a bit of the story over time. It is a narrative driven title with all of the fun that comes with that, but it looks like there may be more going on than we knew before. Phantom 8 Studio has not given out all of the details for the story of the game so far, for good reason, but it looks like that is changing a bit with another look at Past Cure. Given that it is still slated to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 23rd, it makes sense that we should start to get more to wrap our brains around for the game. Read More...

The first gameplay footage for the TMNT in Injustice 2 is here and with it comes some extra changes to Injustice 2 to help accommodate the heroes in a half shell In just under a week we will be getting our last bit of DLC for Injustice 2's Fighter Pack 3 and those following along already know that it is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It came as a bit of a shock when NetherRealm Studios went with this team over many other characters they could have gone with, but it has been a pleasant surprise so far. More so now that we have them in action for Injustice 2 with some new gameplay. Read More...

The next deity for Nightmarchers is here and showing off the powers that Milu will grant us in Nightmarchers that will be all covered in death Hopefully you are ready for the next of the Hawaiian deities of Nightmarchers to be shown off to you as that is what we have here. Granted, you most likely would not have clicked in here if you did not want to see what Wyrmbyte Studios had for us this time, but that does not change the content at all. More so as this time we get a good look at the ruler of the dead in Nightmarchers and the abilities granted when Milu is freed in the game. That is at least how it sounds like these will come and not just be available from the start. Read More...

More of the main story for God Of War has been discussed in various ways as the big push for God Of War information comes to a close The month of massive coverage for God Of War has come to an end and we have learned a whole lot of new things for the game, as well as when to expect it on the PS4. April 20th is still the set date from Santa Monica Studio so do not start to fret. After that last massive story trailer for God Of War though, there were a lot of questions and things that we still want to know. Read More...

A new twist on the Space Hulk franchise has been announced and coming sometime in the near future in terms of Space Hulk: Tactics Another title in the Warhammer 40k franchise is coming here as we have Space Hulk: Tactics announced for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It looks like the people over at Cyanide Studio is riding the success from their past titles even further as Focus Home Interactive has optioned them to bring this game to us all based off the tabletop game of the similar name. Drop the tactics part off of Space Hulk: Tactics and you will be on point there for what I am talking about. But more or less, it will be the same turn-based title that you could expect but with some twists to make it not a simple port over to the video game world from the physical one. Read More...
