Deep Rock Galactic is coming to the PlayStation systems and here is a look at what Deep Rock Galactic will bring This week we got the news that Deep Rock Galactic was going to be part of the PlayStation Plus line up, but there seemed to be many out there that have not heard of the game before now. Myself included. To help correct that, and show off some of the accolades, it seems as if Ghost Ship Games and Coffee Stain opted to make sure we all knew at least the basics for Deep Rock Galactic. Horizon Forbidden West gives us a better look at one more of the machines we will see in the Forbidden West Here we go with one more look at the machines coming to Horizon Forbidden West and this one highlights the one that seems to slither into each of the past videos without much to go on. That could be due to the fact that Guerrilla Games is trying to keep surprises for the February launch on the PS4 and PS5. Those surprises be damned, now, with a new look at the Slitherfang coming at us in Horizon Forbidden West This is the snake-like machines we have seen Aloy facing off with in many of the other videos, but now we can see it directly here. The Final Fantasy job system is back and we have a small taste of the jobs we will swap in for Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin It was mentioned it was coming, and now we have a little bit of a look at the job system in Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin to get us ready for that March 18th release date that is right around the corner. A new system that looks like Team NINJA is paying a bit of homage to the original Final Fantasy systems, but also making sure that it feels just at home in the current state of the games out there. That is, it looks like we will not be pigeonholed into just one job for the entire game. Read More...

New gameplay for Broken Arrow is out there to give us all a better taste of what Broken Arrow will have us do It feels like it is a big time now for RTS style games out there and here we go with another that is a bit on a larger scale called Broken Arrow. Not one that is based on that 1996 film, but a new title from Steel Balalaika and Slitherine heading to the PC next year. It also looks as if this Broken Arrow is not all that close to the premise of the other or the military term it is used for. At least, that is all based on the new alpha gameplay we have to look at as the vehicles drive and fly over the lands to bombard each other with all kinds of hellfire out there. Read More...

The developers of Project Haven are here to show us more of the gameplay we can expect in Project Haven at launch It is time to get more of our squad tactical gaming on with a new and huge showing for Project Haven out here. This would the PC title that Code Three Fifty One has been working on to take us into some of the darkness left on Earth in 2022. Not that we can expect any of that with how humanity is, but something that Project Haven is picking up on given the way humanity generally is. All in the form of a new title that will have our crew out there surviving and bringing down many of the terrible humans in the one to four player title here. Read More...

Ashes Of Creation is in the works of an upgrade with Ashes Of Creation getting some development in the new Unreal 5 engine out there There is no doubt that since the Unreal Engine 5 was showcased that we were not going to start seeing some titles coming along for it in short order. Most of which have seemed to be tech demos or something along those lines, but it looks like Ashes Of Creation will be heading right down that path by getting the full upgrade down the line. When that will be is still anyone's guess, as Intrepid Studios just made the announcement that work has started. Read More...

A new LEGO set is officially announced with a LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog bringing the blue blur to homes at the start of the year The rumors and leaks seem to have been true as we have a LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog set on the way out to us at the start of the new year. That is not much in the way of a fun play on words either. We are talking that you will be able to purchase this one on January 1st of 2022 after all of the speculation and captured images of it being a thing out there. Even if this LEGO set was just built by a Sonic super fan and the company opted to actually build it into sets that others could easily buy instead of trying to duplicate on their own. Read More...

A new video for Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin offers up another look at how it could all be linked to the original Final Fantasy I sure hope you enjoy being teased here, as we have yet one more little teaser for Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin to hopefully get us ready for the March 18th release. Yes, I am talking about that kind of tease and not the kind that got most of us into the virtual worlds that Team NINJA and Square Enix have been making for us all over the years. One the will give us a little bit to look at for the game and see maybe how it all builds into the origins of Final Fantasy here in the weird Souls-like title that will be hitting the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A new behind the scenes video for Dune: Spice Wars is here to help us better understand how this Dune is going to function Hot on the tails of the official announcement that Dune: Spice Wars is going to be a thing on PC in 2022, we have our first behind-the-scenes look at the game and how it is being made. Well, more of the how Shiro Games is making the game and a little less on the side of what is truly going on in the game. Not a terrible thing for all of those fans of Dune that are looking for a little something beyond the CGI trailer and few screenshots we had before. Read More...

Final Fantasy fans will have to wait a bit longer now to get their hands on the upcoming Final Fantasy XVI The end of the year news does not seem to be going out on a high note, as we sadly have a new delay for Final Fantasy XVI. Not that we had much for the game before now since Square Enix first announced it, but now we are going to have to wait another six months to add it to the list of PS5 games we have. I can already hear the collective Final Fantasy fanbase cry out in pain for it all. More so when you find out that it is all linked to the struggles everyone has been having due to the pandemic safety concerns. Read More...

Evil Dead: The Game now has the entire original cast from Evil Dead in the game in some major form Things seem to be shaping up well for Evil Dead: The Game, even if we still have to wait until February to be able to experience it. There is still no word on the specific date or form that we will be able to add this title to our collection and it feels like Saber Interactive is just waiting to jump scare us all with that. Just as they did with the announcement that the full cast from the original Evil Dead will not be in the game in some form or another. The voices of Linda (Betsy Baker) and Shelly (Theresa Tilly) are now confirmed to give us more of that authentic feel to the game on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC when it does drop. A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was much more of an exciting week for all of our video games than it has been in the past. Usually, the weeks before and after Christmas here are insanely slow, which was not the case this time around. At least as of yet. We had some fun for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands again and a new update for Horizon Forbidden West in the mix. Read More...

A new developer diary for Dying Light 2 is here to show how the UX options will be expanded for this Dying Light game It truly feels like there is always some new big push when it comes to Dying Light 2 and I am all for it every time. More so when you see that the next massive update we are getting for the game here from Techland is how it is going to be crafted in a way to make as many gamers happy as possible when it comes to the UX experience. That is what we have here for the next big video for Dying Light 2 as we wait just a bit longer to get to experience it all in real-time. On February 4th, though, we will get to see if things are going to flow as freely on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC as we are hearing right now. Read More...

Sifu will be getting a physical edition now to allow for more customer styles just as Sifu will offer for Kung Fu styles Those that were worried that they would not be able to score a physical edition for Sifu can now put those worries to bed. It looks like Sloclap has heard and seen you. There will now be a physical edition of Sifu out there this coming Spring for the PS4, PS5, and PC. All so you can add another disk to the growing counts out there and physically own your video games instead of hoping that the servers and content always stay online if you need to delete the game from your library for some reason. That is the only real reason I can see for the want of having the physical media anymore. Read More...
