The Quarry Shows Why You Should Not Cry Bigfoot

Quarry

Another podcast for The Quarry opens up a bit more on cryptids and a bit of gameplay for The Quarry

Things keep progressing here for The Quarry as we get ever so closer to that June 10th release date we are all waiting for. At least if you are a fan of horror games and the ones that Supermassive Games have given us over the years. Now that they have 2K backing them and getting more of the bigger named actors mixed in, I can see why they are all thinking that The Quarry will be the next big one for them. The track record does hold up. Now I am getting off-topic, though, as here we go with a bit more on what we could be expecting the game to hold for us when it hits the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. That thing is some form of cryptid. If the podcasts for the game are anything more than just promotional items for the game at least.

In the latest Bizarre Yet Bonafide podcast we have for The Quarry, the duo digs a bit deeper into the various cryptids that have been out there in the real world and then focuses on the Bigfoot here. Not something that would normally tip me off to anything major in the game, but it is interesting to hear after getting the latest bit of gameplay for The Quarry that dropped too. Sure, the footage there does not show a Bigfoot specifically, but it is interesting to hear about a vanishing corpse tied to the cryptid that also seems to be shown a bit in the following gameplay. Bigfoot is thought to be a bear sometimes and that does seem to start things off and then continue to the end with a larger conspiracy building. All with more of the classic gameplay the team has evolved over time and just made better with each new title.

The Quarry — Bizarre Yet Bonafide: The Boy Who Cried Bigfoot

Grace and Anton go deeper into the conspiracy about the vanishing corpse. Could it be the work of a famous celebrity? That’s right – we’re talking Bigfoot and his cryptid coterie! Plus, we’ll take a deep dive into Mr. S. Quatch’s habits, smells, and dating preferences, including rumors of his romantic relationships with cows. You have been warned!

In this 6-part limited podcast series, professional paranormal investigators Grace and Anton reveal what the authorities don't want you to know about the truly bizarre goings-on in North Kill, NY. But are these reports Bonafide? Listen and judge for yourself…

From 2K and masters of horror Supermassive Games, The Quarry releases June 10 on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

The Quarry — Prologue Gameplay

Do you think any of these podcasts are more than basic promotion for The Quarry or do you think they are hiding some fun clues within? Do you think there is going to be a huge conspiracy with the camp, authorities, and cryptids, or will it boil down to the normal horror tropes over time? How do you feel about more of the famous faces showing up in this game than we have had before or will that just be a way to boost sales instead of keeping some horror icons going? Let everyone out there know what you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If we get more to share for The Quarry, know that we will get it here to you as best we can. Please keep checking in on the site for all of that and much more.
