The next fighter for Mortal Kombat 1 is almost here with Takeda on his way back into the Mortal Kombat fray once more Just in time for us all to see Mortal Kombat 1 showing off for EVO 2024, we have a look at Takeda joining the fight again. The next DLC character to come to the game from NetherRealm Studios as they gear up to launch another massive fighter pack from SDCC. All happening within the same week of each other, as Takeda will be playable during this weekend's EVO event and then join Mortal Kombat 1 fully on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC on July 23rd. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That certainly was a fun week with all kinds of video games and a lot of the SDCC build-up kicking off. Most of it has been some of the fun off-site events for the convention, but we do know that Marvel Rivals will have a good showing out there. I am sure we will have many other video games showing up too and we will just need to fill that time with some of the other video games we have right now. Only this one will take us into the desert of World War Z so we can face off with more of the deadliest undead that are ready to swarm us all. The experience has hopped around from last year to now and this one is looking to bring back some favorite things along with more to hype up the upcoming shows and IPs that the streaming service has. Sadly, there is now South Park, as the Las Vegas version of The Lodge had, but that does not mean we will not have a lot of fun with the other Paramount+ shows. They have brought so much over the years to entertain not only on the show floor but also outside for those who might not be able to make it inside. A new villain is on the way to The Outlast Trials! The game has now launched out there on those platforms so you can enjoy it if Steam is not your jam for some reason. We have seen it in everything for the game and what Saber Interactive has placed out there so far, so it would be weird to not have some kind of massive highlight for it before September 9th rolls around and Focus Entertainment gives us the chase to play with it on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It is something that all of the Warhammer 40,000 fans want and anyone not knee-deep in the lore will want to experience in the mix.
