Experience The Casterfell Woods In New & Extended Gameplay For Atomfall

Atomfall

Another long look at Atomfall is here and it shows off quite a bit more of the gameplay and mysterious locations in Atomfall

We are almost there at the full launch for Atomfall and that means yet another massive gameplay showcase to get us all amped up for the game. One that will have us going through yet another area of the world that Rebellion is putting together so well for us all. I saw that as the various locations and events we go through in Atomfall can change what else we have access to or what other missions we are going to get along the way. Here, though, we get a solid sample of the Casterfell Woods in the game so we are going to be slightly more prepared for when the game hits the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on March 27th. A little more time for the PS4 and PS5 gamers to gear up and see what everyone else is going to go through out there as well.

As mentioned, here we get to dive into the Druid-filled Casterfell Woods in Atomfall as we set off to explore this portion of the quarantined zone and complete a fairly straightforward mission. Someone lost something and needs you to get it back. All in exchange for a different thing that can help you out. That is not a slight of things for Atomfall, just a simplification for those who do not want to have the story bits ruined. From there, though, we get to take some very long walks in these woods while using various weapons to end the lives of the many Druids and cultists out there who are trying to stop us. Although, it does not feel as if there are all that many out there with a whole lot of walking and running between different locations. This could be from the fact that the player of this gameplay is rather experienced or that the world will be that sparsely filled to give us that level of loneliness and isolation instead. It is an interesting choice to go with and you can have a very long look at it all just a little lower down.

Atomfall — Gameplay Showcase Of Casterfell Woods

Step into Casterfell Woods, one of Atomfall’s eerie and mysterious locations, in this new gameplay showcase. This footage highlights an experienced player navigating the dangers of the quarantine zone, demonstrating the game’s intense combat, survival mechanics, and exploration.

Combat in Atomfall is harsh but fair. As you progress, you’ll adapt—becoming more skilled and precise. This gameplay highlights how an experienced player navigates encounters a few hours into the game, using patience, strategy, and precision to survive.

Atomfall will launch on March 27, 2025, and is now available to pre-order. Atomfall is coming day one to Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PC, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Atomfall will also be released on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

Was there a lot more open space in the world of Atomfall than expected or will that be filled in more when the game fully launches? Does the combat here feel any different than we have had in other games like it or will that be one of the only things that feels correct in the game? Would it be nice to have an option to threaten and steal the item from this quest or would that be too big of a change to the narrative if we did that from the start? Explore your way down a bit further to the comment section and let us have all of those thoughts. We are sure there will be more for Atomfall in the coming weeks, so please keep on coming back here to see and hear all of that as it is placed out there. The launch is most likely going to have a whole lot more gameplay to make us question things a bit further, I am sure.
