Legacy of Ys Pre-Orders Packed With Soundtrack
by Michael Camacho [ Tuesday, 30th of December 2008 - 09:01 PM ]
In an e-mail to Atlus Faithful today, Atlus Co. has announced that Legacy of Ys: Books I & II, for Nintendo DS, pre-orders at participating retailers will now come with a bonus Soundtrack CD. This soundtrack CD will cover music from both Books I & II, but Atlus has not specified the length of the tracklist yet. Atlus had this to say about the soundtrack: Epic in melody and arrangement, the Ys Books I & II soundtrack has long been considered one of the greatest video same scores ever created.  As relevant today as ever, the freshly arranged music CD still manages the same level of excitement and energy, and stand as a testament to true excellence in game music. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of December 2008 - 07:12 PM ]
Top 20 LittleBigPlanet Level Kit Predictions for 2009 It's the end of the year and it is time for all those absurd Top [Insert BS Here] lists to start hitting the interwebs. Because for some odd reason the American people and in turn some of the rest of the world give a flying gopher cheese donut about them. Mind you I did say some, not all. In any instance, I came across one that was totally awesome. Read More…

[PS3 Review] Rise Of The Argonauts
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 29th of December 2008 - 09:02 PM ]
A Tale Of Greek Tragedy? The Good: One thing that I really loved about this game was the story telling of the game. First that it was very Greek and somewhat very close to something one would read in their Ancient Histories class. Second, the fact that you could choose your own adventure as you go a long, with choices based on one of the four patron gods of the game. And these choices are more than what other games allow for. Like if you chose to be a dick or a good follower of Ares, it gave a totally different outcome. Read More…

Banjo Kazooie N&B Text Patch is Here
by Sam [ Sunday, 21st of December 2008 - 06:46 PM ]
For all those who played Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts and had a hard time reading all the small text, you'll be pleased to know that the patch to enlarge the text is out now. This had caused problems because there was no voice acting in the game, like the other 2 Banjo Kazooie games, and certain underpowered rigs made it hard to read the dialog which contains clues and instructions throughout the game. Rare wasn't going to fix it but somebody got it out a month and a half later. Read More…

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, First Look
by Robert [ Tuesday, 16th of December 2008 - 07:26 PM ]
This is the first trailer they've put out. Graphics look great, combat looks pretty sweet, and the decision making system sounds pretty sweet (keyword: SOUNDS sweet). I'd like to see how this whole "4th Pillar" works out, because if they do it right, it's going to be bad ass. I'm gonna keep my eye on this game for a while.   Heres da video link: http://www.swtor. Armored Core For Answer PS3 Review
by Jesse [ Monday, 15th of December 2008 - 08:22 PM ]
Give a video game franchise enough time and eventually it stops being about attracting new fans and the focus switches to catering to the hardcore fanbase. It happened to the Dynasty Warriors series, it happened to pretty much any EA Sports series, and it happened to Armored Core. So with the release of Armored Core For Answer, the thirteenth game in the series, it’s no surprise that even with Ubisoft taking over as publishers, developers From Software have stuck with the two basic elements of an Armored Core game. Fast and crazy action and a ton of customization. As a result, it pretty much means that if you’re a fan, you’ll still like this game even if you did buy Armored Core 4 sometime over the course of the last twelve months. Read More…

[PC Review] Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of December 2008 - 04:06 AM ]
Episodes 1-4 So I want to preface this review with a little something. I am a casual Strong Bad fan. By that I mean that I watch the flash videos every now and then and am not so entrenched into the whole Strong Bad world or Strongbaddia world if you will. I thought this important so the hard core fans don’t say I am leaning one way or the other. With that said, here we go. For the most part this game plays through, via “episodes,” much like the clips of flash video. Read More…
