Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes has been announced and shown off in a huge Disney Infinity 2.0 event. Back at the beginning of the month we got a nice tease showing off what is now known as Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes. At first it looked like it was going to be Disney Infinity with a few Marvel heroes added in. With the hour long session that took place today (4/30/14) it looks like it is a whole lot more. A new game trailer for Mad Max has been released showing off the amazing vehicle of the game; the Magnum Opus. One could have had a baby in the time it has been since we last got a video look at Mad Max from Avalanche Studios and Warner Bros. That isn't too much of an exaggeration either. In fact it had been so long that recently I began to question if Mad Max was still being worked on or if it had been canned quietly so as not to have everyone asking 'Why?'. BioWare's upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition is slated for October 7th and has a new gameplay trailer. The time has come and now we have a release date for Dragon Age: Inquisition to look forward to. That date is now October 7th on the main current gen and next gen consoles as well as PC for any of those who play games on their major tech devices. I don't know who would ever play Dragon Age: Inquisition on their PC instead of using it for curing cancer am I right? Marvel has teased that we will be getting some heroes for Disney Infinity 2.0. Captain America is the only 'confirmed' character for now. Earlier today Marvel teased some new characters coming for Disney Infinity in the 2.0 edition of the game. Well more new character but it shouldn't be too much of a stretch to assume that they are going to be pumping as many characters from their universe into the video game/toy cash cow. That and the use of the iconic "Assemble" phrases that go hand in hand with the Avengers, but for right now all we get is Captain America's shield flying around bringing down the baddies of Disney Infinity. New details and screen shots for Batman: Arkham Knight. Also details on Arkham Knight, the new character for the Batman universe. If you are like me then when you heard about Batman: Arkham Knight you thought that it was just a fun little subtitle for the game. Up until now it was easy to just make that logic leap given all of the other subtitles for the Rocksteady franchise. I think that is why it was a bit shocking and surprising to find out that the Arkham Knight mentioned is a completely new "villain" for the Batman universe. Some of you may be too young to remember Gauntlet in classic arcades. Hells, you may be too young to remember classic arcades as well. I do and Warner Bros hopes that some of our readers will as well because that is one of the things they are trying to capitalize on with Gauntlet. Batman Arkham Knight has just been fully announced and is back in the hands of Rocksteady. Not to mention next gen and PC only. So this was unexpected today. Batman Arkham Knight has been announced from Warner Bros. and Rocksteady. Yes, you read that. Rocksteady and not Warner Bros. Games Montréal where I thought the franchise had moved on to slowly piddle out as did most others I know who were not impressed with Arkham Origins. There is a new trailer for Dying Light that focuses on the 'Human' element of the game and who the real monsters are… As has been seen multiple times over, Dying Light is mostly about free running and surviving the end of the world by zombies. There has always been the human element in the trailers and gameplay shown but now it looks like Dying Light is showing off how other NPC humans in the game are going to be as messed up as some of the greatest characters in The Walking Dead universe.
