Acolyte Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Power of Many… Missed Opportunities. Here are my thoughts on The Acolyte (Warning – spoilers!) So, the last episode dropped and after eight weeks of slogging through Star Wars: The Acolyte, I figured it is time to share my thoughts on the show. Overall while I did not care for the series, there were aspects of this show I did appreciate. There has been a lot of online hate leveled at the show, its cast, its writers, and its showrunner Leslye Headland. Mortal Kombat The next fighter for Mortal Kombat 1 is almost here with Takeda on his way back into the Mortal Kombat fray once more Just in time for us all to see Mortal Kombat 1 showing off for EVO 2024, we have a look at Takeda joining the fight again. The next DLC character to come to the game from NetherRealm Studios as they gear up to launch another massive fighter pack from SDCC. All happening within the same week of each other, as Takeda will be playable during this weekend's EVO event and then join Mortal Kombat 1 fully on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC on July 23rd. World War Z The next big update for World War Z: Aftermath is finally out so we can head to Arizona in the universe of World War Z It is time to gear up and head out with the new update out there for World War Z: Aftermath. The latest in the waves that Saber Interactive have been placing out there on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC since the game's launch. Only this one will take us into the desert of World War Z so we can face off with more of the deadliest undead that are ready to swarm us all. Warhammer One of the iconic Warhammer 40,000 weapons, the Chainsword, is on display with the latest for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 If there is one iconic weapon we are going to see in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, it has to be the Chainsword. We have seen it in everything for the game and what Saber Interactive has placed out there so far, so it would be weird to not have some kind of massive highlight for it before September 9th rolls around and Focus Entertainment gives us the chase to play with it on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Star Wars A whole lot of new gameplay for Star Wars Outlaws is here along with a lot of Star Wars lore for you all to dig right through too If you wanted something new for Star Wars Outlaws, well, you now have a whole lot of that to take in. During the recent Ubisoft Forward, as promised, Massive Entertainment went all out and gave us teases, an overview, a lot of gameplay, then a whole lot of the same gameplay explaining all of the hidden Easter Eggs and lore that we can expect when the game launches on August 30th for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Just on a few watchings of it all, all of the Star Wars nerds out there are going to have a lot to look at and explore. Not to mention a whole lot of the same locations we have seen many times over, but they are iconic for a reason, and with it being an open-world game, some of those worlds do lend well to all of that. DOOM The next DOOM title was announced during the Xbox Showcase with DOOM: The Dark Ages taking things even darker than we have had before Things are getting darker out there and Hell is on the way back with the latest announcement we have for DOOM: The Dark Ages. Yes, we are getting another installment into the newer version of the IP from id Software as the Slayer is coming back into action. Hollowbody Some new gameplay is here for Hollowbody to give us a look at the combat we are going to get into when playing Hollowbody I hope you are ready for a good fight out there, as the new gameplay we have for Hollowbody is leaning a bit into that. No, the game has not shifted from a survival horror game to a fighting one, but Headware Games is offering up a look at the combat we can expect when the game hits the PC down the line. Hollowbody is not going to be another of the walking simulation horrors out there and is leaning more into its Silent Hill inspirations more than anything. God Of War The PC release of God Of War: Ragnarök has been announced to allow more to see how this God Of War title ends The end is on the way for PC gamers with the full announcement that God Of War: Ragnarök will be heading out there soon. How soon? Well, it looks like Jetpack Interactive is looking to bring this title from Santa Monica Studio over there on September 19th, 2024. Okay, so not soon enough for many out there, but for those who opted to play God Of War (2018) on the PC instead of the PS4 or PS5, that does mean you will have some light at the end of the tunnel for when you can expect to play this epic ending to the Nordic world.
