Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just as we all thought, this week popped off with so much in the way of new and fun things in the space of video games. God Of War One more realm is opening up in God Of War: Ragnarök with a new mode getting added into God Of War for some reason A year after the last big update we had for God Of War: Ragnarök, here we go with a new little present for us all to have. We are getting a whole new bit of DLC in the game that is taking us to Valhalla, and that is not a coy little thing from Santa Monica Studio for it. We are heading into the realm again with Kratos and seeing how things could play out in the epilogue for God Of War: Ragnarök. All for free for those who own the game already on the PS4 or PS5. Contra The cast of characters for Contra: Operation Galuga are on the scene to show us what the new Contra will have It is about time to get reloaded, reborn, and reimagined with Contra: Operation Galuga. A new title coming from WayForward and Konami to bring a classic IP back to life while giving us all something new to experience in the mix too. Even if we have to wait until 2024 to see Contra: Operation Galuga land on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Mortal Kombat The next DLC character for Mortal Kombat 1 is on the way with a tease toward what else is on the way to Mortal Kombat 1 soon For those that have been looking for the next DLC character coming to Mortal Kombat 1, here we go with the announcement that will be Quan Chi. The necromantic sorcerer that has been a staple in the IP for a long while with NetherRealm Studios, and he is coming back to give us more to play with just before Christmas. Those that have the Early Access to the DLC out there, Quan Chi will be hitting Mortal Kombat 1 on December 14th on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Suicide Squad The other two members of the Suicide Squad are highlighted now to bring us further into Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League The next two members of the team are here to get their time in the light for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. That puts the whole team out there now for us and how Rocksteady is going to be handling them after taking the time to get the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 2nd. If you have not paid attention so far, these two characters are Deadshot and Captain Boomerang for the Suicide Squad as they team up to do what the title states. Batman Batman is back in action again with the Nintendo Switch release out there for the Batman: Arkham Trilogy Those, like me, who need that Batman fix and something back in the Arkham series can get ready to have one more way to experience it all on December 1th. This coming Friday, Rocksteady Games is putting out the classic trilogy, again, but for the Nintendo Switch. All with the launch for the Batman: Arkham Trilogy so we can save Gotham from all of the villains at home or on the go as we so want to do. Dune Dune fans are now able to experience Dune: Spice Wars over on the Xbox console with all of the usual changes over for it The Spice Wars are continuing out there as we now see Dune: Spice Wars over on the Xbox Series X|S for those still needing to get in on this title. It has been running smoothly on the PC for a while now, and Shiro Games has finally put the last touches on one of the console versions to get it over there. Maybe this means we might see Dune: Spice Wars on others, but for now those looking to head to their Xbox to play this RTS, can do so and enjoy all that it has to offer. Mortal Kombat The second season of Mortal Kombat 1’s Invasion is out there to give us all more Mortal Kombat in a different way The Season Of The Blood Moon is underway with the next Invasions of Mortal Kombat 1 in full swing out there. I am sure that if you have been constantly playing this new title from NetherRealm Studios, you will have seen all of that and might have even jumped right into it all. Call Of Duty There is a bit more to the Call Of Duty zombies mode with one more bit of intel dropping for the launch of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III It looks as if there is enough time to give us all one more intel drop for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III before it lands on November 10th. One more drop that looks to show off how the Zombies mode will function and flow in the game while building upon what Sledgehammer Games has out there already.
