Ok, so here is a nice little twist to things on the MvC3 front. It looks like there is a bit more DLC already planned after launch of the game. This DLC won't be new characters, but it will bring new challengers to the table. New challengers in the form of a Shadow Mode for the game. What is Shadow Mode? It is a way that Capcom can allow users at home to download AI opponents programmed after the techniques and preferences of Capcom's development staff and famous players from the fighting game scene. It has been announced that Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath were coming to Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 as DLC for a short while now, but how are they going to look? Well I am sure your eyes have already drifted south for a second to see that we have a slew of new screen shots showcasing what you can expect the two new characters to look like and a bit of fight like. At first I thought this was a joke. A very clever and well constructed joke. This is one of those instances where I am incredibly pleased to report that this is no joke. The third game in the combo-laden fighting game series, Marvel vs Capcom, is coming to PlayStation 3 and the XBox 360 in 2011. The game, which is already said to feature Wolverine, Spider-Man, The Hulk, Magneto, Storm (and from the looks of the trailer, Ryu, Morrigan, and Chris Redfield), seems to draw an aritstic style closer to the most recent iteration of the Street Fighter series. Some art from a teaser poster also seems to reveal a few other characters. With the recent release of the Apple iPad, many of the Apps and Games have been coming out out for it. Plants vs. Zombies, one of PopCap success stories of 2009, is now releasing the game for the iPad in HD. Plants vs. Zombies was one of the 2009 most played games for the PC, especially for those at Aggrogamer.com. PopCap Games has announced today that they will be releasing the game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Plants vs. Zombies will be available now at the Apple’s App Store for $2.99. So it only took a little over a year, but Capcom's latest cross over fighting game has finally hit the shores of the rest of the world. Bringing the latest and best that the Capcom franchises have to go up against the anime characters that acclaimed Tatsunoko Productions has to throw at them. Being a lowly space marine seems like the worst thing to be in Aliens Vs. Predator. Just by watching the trailer down below, you get a great sense that most people will only play the Human portion if they are in for a challenge or an Achievement/Trophy whore. I mean come on, the human they show through out the clip is scared poopless the entire clip. To the point where it begs the question right?
