Samurai Shodown Has A Date For When We Need To Embrace Death
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Samurai Shodown The official release date for Samurai Shodown is now set for the PS4 and Xbox One with a new trailer for Samurai Shodown showing off all of the gameplay features The date is finally set for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Samurai Shodown and we can now look for the game on June 25th. We knew the game was coming in June of this year, and now we have a solid date and just after the next big gaming event so SNK can give one more good showing before. Just about what I figured, even though we have a new trailer for Samurai Shodown that shows off just what is going on in the game. Read More...

Say Adieu To Your Opponents As Charlotte Joins Samurai Shodown
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Samurai Shodown The next character for Samurai Shodown is here and we get to see how Charlotte comes in and destroys here opponents in Samurai Shodown Another week has passed by and we have one more character revealed for Samurai Shodown with many more to come. Just as it should have been easy to assume, it is another fan-favorite character from the past of the franchise in the way of Charlotte. I am going to go on a limb and guess that we are going to be seeing mostly old characters coming back from SNK, as it has been so long that Samurai Shodown has been silent out there. I could be wrong, but it is not as if the game has had multiple sequels over the past years like other fighters, which would allow them to go out and craft new fighters. Read More...

Things Are Starting To Heat Up As Shiki Joins Samurai Shodown
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Samurai Shodown The next character for Samurai Shodown is here and it looks like another blast from past coming from Samurai Shodown 64 The next character for Samurai Shodown is here now as we get to see Shiki come back for this fight now. Yes, it looks like SNK is digging back to the Neo-Geo days and pulling one more character into the modern age for this game. Given how long it has been for a good Samurai Shodown, it will be forgiven. Unlike some of those other fighting games that just keep looking to recycle characters ever release instead of bringing a whole new roster. Read More...

Ukyo Is Here For The Fight & The Ladies In Samurai Shodown
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of April 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Samurai Shodown The next character for Samurai Shodown is here to be looked at and looks to add some extra weird bits to Samurai Shodown in the longer run It is that time again to take a look at one more character coming to Samurai Shodown this June and this time it is Ukyo. A ladies man type of character that looks to use a quick draw technique to take down all of his foes. It all seems a bit odd to state that way, but it is how SNK has offered it up and showed us in the latest trailer we have. Sadly, it is another trailer that does not give much in the way of context on how Ukyo will actually function in Samurai Shodown, but it is something to look at an speculate on. Read More...

Darli Dagger Is Here To Cut Down The Competition In Samurai Shodown
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of April 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Samurai Shodown The next character for Samurai Shodown is here with Darli Dagger as the roster for Samurai Shodown keeps expanding with many more fighters Here we go with another character coming to Samurai Shodown when it launches in June for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch. A newcomer has entered the fight as SNK presents us all with Darli Dagger and her interesting weapon of choice. Or should we say weapons of choice as it looks like she has two solid on in the mix here? Not the weirdest thing for Samurai Shodown, but it is worth noting as some people have missed it here in the following trailer we have. Read More...

It Is Time To Meet Nakoruru From The Upcoming Samurai Shodown
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of April 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Samurai Shodown A new video series for Samurai Shodown is here to take us through the characters of Samurai Shodown and here is the first one There have been looks at the characters for the upcoming Samurai Shodown already, but none of them have featured one character specifically at a time thus far. This is apparently an issue out there that needs to be rectified. How are we supposed to get an understanding of a specific character in the game if SNK will not just show them doing their thing? Samurai Shodown Anthology Review
by Jesse [ Sunday, 24th of May 2009 - 02:42 AM ]
When you look back at the 1990’s and you see the more popular fighting games to come out of that decade, your mind will invariably jump to Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter above anything else. From those two series came so many clones that really didn’t offer anything new to the genre. It’s ironic though that most of these clones are probably better known than anything from the Samurai Shodown series which is a shame since Samurai Shodown did so much to add to the fighting genre back in the day. Thankfully SNK Playmore have put together a collection of Samurai Shodown games that is a must have for anyone who is a fan of the series. There are several things that separate Samurai Shodown from virtually every other fighting game of the same era. Read More...

Doki Majo Plus Equals More Witch Touching Fun
by Michael Camacho [ Wednesday, 15th of April 2009 - 01:16 PM ]
As Japanese import game fans know, the Doki Doki Majo Shinpan series was a bold new step in eroge games on the DS. SNK created the series and urged gamers to utilize the stylus to rub, poke, touch, kiss or wink at potential witches to reveal their "Witch mark". It's no wonder to anyone why this series has never seen the light of day outside of Japan. This summer SNK is bringing out a brand new adventure for the Doki Doki series, titled Doki Majo Plus. This side story brings back the cast of the original game as they are on vacation at an island getaway. Read More...
