With the new screens, comes news of more mini-games this time around. No clear specifics on what the mini-games will consist of, but be sure they will add more variety to the game than just battles and witch checking. Battles will be getting an upgrade with a new powerful technique that won't require the user to use their magic.
The main draw to the series, the "Witch Check" mode, will be receiving another upgrade for this title as well. With more poses and expressions from the girls as you go about touching them to find their mark of the witch, you will also have a new Heart Counter. The Heart Counter will keep track of how many hearts you collect from touching them in the right locations. This will give the gamer an overall better idea of how well they are doing.
Doki Majo Plus will be released July 30 2009 in Japan, and no word yet if there will be a special edition packaging or not. Like the first two games, don't expect a U.S. release.
