I personally thought that it was going to be another of the slow weeks given the proximity of the big E3 just about to hit us but then all of those developers and publishers opted to hit us with some really great stuff. I'm still reeling in the fact that South Park: The Fractured But Whole has an official release date and that we will be seeing the next Assassin's Creed title before the end of the fiscal year. Darksiders More updates on Darksiders III have been revealed alongside some new, amazing looking Darksiders III concept art to flesh out the world We had some interesting updates for Darksiders III earlier in the week and here we go again with even more. Not only more but a whole lot of new looks at the game and just how Gunfire Games has taken the original franchise from THQ Nordic and altered it and evolved it into something fitting for the current generation of gamers but to keep up with the changing times. That and we have a look at more concept art for Darksiders III to give us a clue into what we could expect when the game does launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Walking Dead The date for the final episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier’s first season will be on us faster than a zombie from The Walking Dead It's funny to say now, but it seems not too long ago that The Walking Dead: A New Frontier season just kicked off and started to flow, but here we are with the final episode of the season about to come at us. It's been a fun roller coaster of events and twists in this latest outing from Telltale Games and now we are wrapping it up. If you couldn't have guessed by now, we are talking about The Walking Dead: A New Frontier getting its final episode on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, Android, and iOS platforms on May 30th. Read More...

Shadow Of War A new trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has just dropped and it gives us a glimpse of the other lands Shadow Of War will have to offer us all It's been a nice little bit since we had something new for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War and now we get to come at you with an open-world kind of trailer to look at. It's not the kind that you would assume with all of the other open-world trailers we get, but this one shows off more of the fighting as well as a few of the new places that Monolith Productions has put together for us to explore so it isn't all Mordor and the surrounding areas. That would make Shadow Of War a little on the boring side if we were still confined to the same locations as before, but that will not be the case. Read More...

Darksiders Recently we had some gameplay for Darksiders III to look at and now we have some context for what it all means for Darksiders III and moving forward A little while back we had the announcement for Darksiders III and that was followed up pretty quickly with some of the first gameplay footage for the game to show it all off more than a cinematic trailer. While it was good to see where Gunfire Games was at with the game, it was not given much context and left a lot of things out there that, in my opinion, seemed to harm the franchise. The colors, art, and the combat for Darksiders III seemed to deviate from what we all know already and showed a bit of what THQ Nordic was paying for here. Read More...

Guardians Of The Galaxy We sit down and review Guardians Of The Galaxy — Tangled Up In Blue. This is the first episode of Telltale's version of Guardians Of The Galaxy. Here's our review on how they did With Guardians Of The Galaxy being the big thing right now in the Marvel film universe, it makes sense that we would see the first episode of the new episodic game release here to add to the whole experience. It is not linked to the film or comics, outside of the basics, and is completely something from Telltale Games for us to experience and have fun with before, after, and for a while after we catch the film. We do only have the first episode of this Guardians Of The Galaxy experience so far, but we've had our chance to give it all a whirl and see just how they did. Read More...

Darksiders New gameplay for Darksiders III has just been shown off and it gives us a look at how Darksiders III has progressed from the past titles Earlier in the week we saw that Darksiders III was going to be a thing like many of us had hoped. Usually when it comes to game reveals that is where everything is left and then we have to wait a bit to actually see any real gameplay. At least when we all get a reveal like we did for Darksiders III that only held a cinematic trailer and nothing else. It looks like Gunfire Games is going to skip that usual procession as now we have some gameplay to gaze upon as we wait for the THQ Nordic to give us the full release sometime next year. Friday The 13th In Friday The 13th: The Game we will get an expanded story for the franchise & we get to see all of Friday The 13th's Jasons we will slay with If you've been following along with Friday The 13th: The Game fairly closely then it should come as no surprise that Illfonic has placed into the maps a few hidden little secrets to be found or dug up. Sure this could go towards all of the items and parts of the map that players could use to survive or kill each other in the maps, but what we are talking about are the hidden little gems that actually expand on the overall story of the franchise. Darksiders Darksiders III has been officially announced after many Darksiders III leaks popped up in preparation for the full reveal of the game All of those hopes and prayers have been answered as Darksiders III has just been announced by THQ Nordic and is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2018. Yes, this is not a drill or more wishful thinking based on the remasters we saw recently from Gunfire Games and such. Resident Evil 7 The announced free DLC for Resident Evil 7, Not A Hero, has been delayed but it looks like we will get more top-notch Resident Evil 7 gaming soon Like many other titles that promised something by Spring of 2017, it looks like Resident Evil 7 is going to be added to that list as it seems the Not A Hero DLC has been delayed. Not a huge deal given how well the game and current DLC are going, but none the less it looks like Capcom needs more time for this DLC and we are going to have to wait. How long? Read More...

Video Games All of us can be addicted to video games so let's discuss the Neil Robertson case and video games A news story that’s been popping up all day is of former world Snooker champion Neil Robertson’s addiction to video games. Some games like Dark Souls do have a strange addictive tendency with the rewarding sensation giving to a player after a long hard fought victory. I’m not a student of psychology though and this topic has been brought up enough over the years I have looked into it. Friday The 13th The release date for Friday The 13th: The Game has been set and we have a new look at that exclusive Friday The 13th Jason skin Here we go! Friday The 13th: The Game has finally been given a final release date for us all when it will not only hit the PC, but also the Xbox One and PS4. Soon we will all be slaying each other or trying to survive the horrors that Illfonic has put together for us and has been rather amazing so far based on the beta for me.
