Outlast 2 Is Kind Of Here Now For The Halloween Season
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Outlast 2 While Outlast 2 may still be a few months out, you can give the Outlast 2 demo a play just in time for Halloween To Hit If you were like me then I know you were hoping that Outlast 2 would have made a miraculous showing during the month of fear. I know that Red Barrels had their reasons to push the game off until Q1 of 2017 but that doesn't change the fact that we all wanted something scary for our PS4, Xbox One, or PC during this month. Which is why I am here with some good news as it looks like we all have a way to play Outlast 2 during October here even though it may not be how you were hoping it would be. Beggars can't be choosers so we'll have to take what we can here. Read More...

Get Ready To Hide And Shriek With This New Horror Multiplayer Title
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Hide And Shriek A new horror multiplayer title, Hide And Shriek, has been announced and Hide And Shriek has you dealing out all of the horror and not the developers If you were wondering where all of the good horror games where this month then let me introduce you to Hide And Shriek. This is a new multiplayer horror title in the works just for Halloween from Funcom. You know, the ones who brought us The Park last year and now want to keep the horror flowing with Hide And Shriek this year on the PC; even though the two titles are not linked in any other way outside of the developers and platform. If nothing though it is a new horror title to get added into the month of fear where things do seem to be a bit lacking this year in general. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of September 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th New updates for Friday The 13th: The Game are out there and it looks like more classic Friday The 13th is coming to the game now It looks like the good news for Friday The 13th: The Game just keeps rolling out as it looks like we have a new option for Jason and a new counselor being added into the mix now. This time Illfonic has crafted as perfect of a rendition of Jason from the 6th film in the franchise as they could based on everything that Gun Media could get together to replicate it all. Not only that but it also looks like we have yet another counselor added in for the full roster of Friday The 13th. Read More...

See Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood Bring Terror To Life
by Julia Schoebel [ Thursday, 8th of September 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Until Dawn A new developer diary for Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood has been released and it shows just how Until Dawn is going to enter the VR realms and what the team has done We are getting ever closer to the release of Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood as the PlayStation VR system is on the verge as well. I've personally played the demo that Supermassive Games had put together a few times and see a few other videos of how the game has progressed. It looks like it could be a great VR experience but I'm still not sure if it should share the Until Dawn name and just be a hodgepodge of all of their titles. Read More...

Friday The 13th More gameplay for Friday The 13th: The Game has come out of PAX and it shows some of the great kills Friday The 13th is going to offer us all There has never been any doubt that Friday The 13th: The Game was going to have some great over-the-top kills for us when it comes to Jason. It has been something that Gun Media and Illfonic have been spouting since the game first took form. The Friday The 13th franchise has a lot to pull from already and the teams are filled with some great minds. Read More...

Get Ready For More Night Terrors On Your Mobile Device Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of August 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Night Terrors Another new trailer for Night Terrors has been released but sadly no solid update on how Night Terrors' development is going so far It's been a bit of time since we had a solid update on Night Terrors for our Android and iOS devices that will hopefully be coming soon. For those who don't happen to know or remember what this is supposed to be, it is a new Augmented Reality title coming from Novum Analytics that turns your real world home into a nightmare filled haunted house. We' spoken on Night Terrors a few times in the past as it went into its Indigogo campaign to try and get the funds to make sure the team could get all of their tech to work and all of us shitting our pants. History lesson over for now… Like I said though, it's been a bit of time since we saw a solid update on the goings on of Night Terrors and now we have yet another trailer to look at and get an idea of how far the team has progressed. Outlast 2 Won't Be Making It In Time For The Month Of Fear
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 1st of August 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Outlast 2 It looks like Outlast 2 has been hit with delays and we won't be seeing Outlast 2 this October but sometime next year Looks like some sad news has been added into the mix as it looks like Outlast 2 is going to be delayed until Q1 of 2017. This is never the news you want to get for your game but here it is none the less right from Red Barrels' social feeds. Although to be fair Outlast 2 never had a set date before now outside of October. Ideally this would have been perfect for a horror game but as it seems most of the horror titles end up in February instead of during the traditional month of terror. Read More...

Friday The 13th: The Game's Jason Room Is Now Open For Scares
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th A new update to Friday The 13th: The Game's digital cabin has been made and we get more to see for Friday The 13th's big bad Jason in the game It hasn't been that long since the Friday The 13th: The Game digital cabin came online and fans who backed or are still banking the game had a chance to check out the "safe area" in the game where we can check out all of our collected gear and items. Illfonic and Gun Media put this together early but it will be in the final game so you can see everything you want out side of a match. Sadly, when it first launched it was just an icon cabin from the Friday The 13th series and game with little more than a few developer diaries and music to check out from the game. Read More...

Just How Will Friday The 13th: The Game's Counselors Play Out
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of July 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th New details on how Friday The 13th: The Game's counselors will handle in the game have popped up and it looks like Friday The 13th is going to break a few multiplayer molds here There is still a lot of time and information needing to be spread out for Friday The 13th: The Game and it looks like just a bit more has popped on up. While Illfonic has been giving us small little breakdowns of how some mechanics play out it looks like the guys from Gun Media have given us all a bit more on how the counselors in the game will handle and play out. Not only will they stay to the traditional Friday The 13th path in terms of stereotypes but it looks like we are not going to be limited to only having one of the stereotypes in action at one time. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th The virtual cabin for Friday The 13th: The Game is out now and we have a few new looks at the Friday The 13th goodness it contains At the beginning of the week we all got news that Friday The 13th: The Game was getting its virtual cabin soon. Soon as in June 30th. For those keeping track that was yesterday as of this writing and Illfonic has released the codes to the backers of the game so they can take a look at the virtual cabin before the full release later on. the Friday The 13th virtual cabin is still only for the PC version of the game at this point but Gun Media has told us all that it will be the 3D museum for the game's collectibles and other fun Easter Eggs on the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. We just need to wait and be patient there. Read More...

Observer Is A New Cyberpunk Horror Title Coming To Haunt Our Dreams
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of June 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Observer Another new title, Observer, was announced during E3 and we have some gameplay for Observer to look upon and get ready for the fear It's games like Observer that make me want to see E3 get spread over a few more days than the short few that we do get. You may or may not have heard of its announcement during the PC Gaming show but here we go with the next major title out of Bloober Team. They would be known the best for Layers Of Fear; another horror title set in a specific timeline but here we go into s cyberpunk setting for Observer. They knocked it out the park before but can they catch lightning in a bottle again with their horror? Read More...

E3 2016 Impressions — Friday The 13th: The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of June 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th While at E3 I was able to see Friday The 13th: The Game in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Friday The 13th: The Game If there has been one game I was overly excited to see at E3 this year, that had already been announced, it was Friday The 13th: The Game. I’ve been so amped for this game since it was originally Summer Camp and now Illfonic and Gun Media have something solid for us all to see for the game. You may have seen some of it during their Twitch stream just before the event but if not then you are in the right place. Read More...

Friday The 13th Big updates for Friday The 13th: The Game have been released and they include a new Friday The 13th writer signing on as well as new in-game elements It was safe to assume that we were going to get some Friday The 13th: The Game updates today and as it turns out Illfonic did not let us down at all there. In fact there are a whole slew of updates for this awesome multiplayer title that you're going to have to take a small break from the movie marathon to enjoy. Especially if you were gearing up to watch Friday The 13th Part VI as this will have some major impact on fans of that title or just the franchise in general. Read More...

Review — The Park
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
The Park We sit down and review The Park. This is another narrative driven experience with basis in Funcom's other great IPs. Here's our review of The Park While The Park released last October on the PC it has finally made the jump over the PS4 and Xbox One to make sure everyone could have the narrative experience that they put together. An experience that looks to stem off from some of the amazing darkness that Funcom has already placed in The Secret World. Now that it has hopped over to consoles we had a chance to give The Park a fun play through and see just how intense this horror experience is. Read More...
