by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Outlast 2 During PAX East a whole lot more on Outlast 2 was revealed, only to those who were overly active viewers, & now we all get to see what Outlast 2 holds During PAX East we had a good chunk of gameplay show up for Outlast 2 and we all rejoiced. It looked dark, terrifying, and showed how much care that Red Barrels had put into its development so far. As we all did though we tried to figure a few things out based on the gameplay for Outlast 2 but for those on the show floor or avid viewers of the Twitch streams there was a bit more in the mix. Now we have the archived footage of the event up and ready to view and it gives us all quite a bit more detail into the game than before. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of April 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Outlast 2 The first bit of gameplay for Outlast 2 has been released out of PAX East and Outlast 2 looks to bring more fear than the last one The wait is over and the date is here so we have our first Outlast 2 gameplay video fresh out of PAX East. Just in case you forgot this was something that Red Barrels teased a few weeks ago with a very cryptic video that spoke of April 22nd as being a date of importance. That importance being the first gameplay demo of Outlast 2 and it takes us through a scary run for our lives through a corn field in some part of the country. It's like Redneck Rampage without the humor and more terror. Read More...

More Friday The 13th: The Game Counselors & How To Keep Them Alive
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of April 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th A new update for Friday The 13th: The Game has been released showing off two new Friday The 13th counselor types & how vehicles can be used to survive We still don't have any new gameplay for Friday The 13th: The Game that looks near where hopefully the upcoming beta will be but we do have a whole lot of new updates on more of the ins and outs of the mechanics. Illfonic is still hard at work getting everything to the place that Gun Media is looking to have it but they need to keep the fans and backers happy so we'll just have to do with more of the little updates. At least this time we have more on a bit of the mechanics on how to survive Jason's onslaught and a look at two more Friday The 13th stereotype counselors we will be taking the role of in the game matches. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of April 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Outlast 2 Another creepy teaser for Outlast 2 has been released and this one also holds no Outlast 2 gameplay but some speculate it points to when we will get that Another cryptic and uninformative video for Outlast 2 has popped up online here. Last we saw and heard from Red Barrels about this game was back in January and it was just a basic screenshot that really didn't provide us all with much of anything. That is the general hope with each new update and release for Outlast 2 or really any other video game out there. Seeing as it still is slated for a Fall release of this year we still have a lot of time to get some juicy tidbits before we delve into another nightmare of a game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 1st of February 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th During PAX South Friday The 13th: The Game was shown off to the crowd a bit more and we were able to see how many of Friday The 13th's incarnations of Jason we will get I am pretty sure that most of you who have clicked in here know what Jason Voorhees looks like from Friday The 13th. It is a pretty icon look and killer for us all to know. The Cops Can't Save You In Friday The 13th: The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th Another non-gameplay video for Friday The 13th: The Game has been released to show how players can call in cops to help them in Friday The 13th though it won't help Another Friday The 13th: The Game video and yet another case of no gameplay. You'd think by now that Gun Media would have given us all something in terms of new gameplay but it looks like all we are going to be getting will be game mechanic videos to describe how Friday The 13th will play when it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC later this year. At least if they still hit their mark given the lack of gameplay video to see for Friday The 13th and all. But moving on now… In this new clip we get to see another way that the counselors can try to survive the match in Friday The 13th: The Game. Read More...

CES 2016 Hands On — Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Rush Of Blood While At CES I Was Able To See Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood It was only announced a few months ago but Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood was one of the huge titles on display at CES 2016 in Sony's VR section of their booth. PlayStation didn't have a huge section this year but this Supermassive Games spin off from the main title was one of the bigger things for the PS4 and PlayStation VR here. Lines were up to an hour and a half long to play the ten minute demo of Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood and I braved it just for you so I could let you know how the game is shaping up for all of us. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Outlast 2 The first screenshot for Outlast 2 has been released to show how evolved the gameplay will be in Outlast 2 over its predecessor It has been a few months since we had a nice teaser for Outlast 2 and some form of update on the game progress in development from Red Barrels. As we roll into 2016 we are most likely going to get a whole lot more on this amazing horror game that is still slated for a Halloween release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For now though it looks like we are going to have to deal with just a nice little screenshot from the game to keep our blood boiling and ready for Outlast 2 in some form. Or you know; you can just go play Outlast again and get a good fright. Read More...

Friday The 13th: The Game's Stamina System Will Be Very Familiar To Fans
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of December 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th A new video for Friday The 13th: The Game shows off the game's stamina and noise mechanics and Friday The 13th fans will see a lot of similarities between the films and game here It should really come as no surprise that Friday The 13th: The Game will have a stamina and noise mechanic built into the game to give players that authentic experience. Running out of stamina and making too much noise is always a drawback when facing off against Jason and Gun Media is making sure we have that in the game. It really wouldn't be Friday The 13th if it wasn't in there and stamina/noise was treated like points on Whose Line Is It Anyway? Read More...
