Friday The 13th
More Friday The 13th: The Game behind the scenes video has been released and now we see how that Friday The 13th slasher is being brought to life in the game
We've seen the many different faces of Jason coming to Friday The 13th: The Game and there happens to be new ones in the works as you are reading this. We've also been able to see some of the extra behind the scenes work that Gun Media is putting into the game to make sure that Jason is brought to life and feels as authentic as possible. Some of which happened to be the massive motion capture session that took place for Friday The 13th where Kane Hodder brought the character back to life yet again. They were short snips but still something.
Thankfully though someone over at Gun Media chose to keep recording and the publish more of the motion capture session that many not following Friday The 13th would have missed out on the first go around. Also thankfully for you we have said video here and it is ready for you to see in all of its non-bloody glory. The blood and carnage of course will be added in in the game proper and this is just the basic motion capture that is needed to make the lives of the animators much easier.
As a word to the wise this isn't your normal motion capture session. We all know that Friday The 13th: The Game is going to have some brutal killing moves in it and that is what is mostly shown here. Not just the running and basic movements that most of us are used to. It isn't violent in the fact that it should be labeled NSFW or not safe for children but it does show the intensity that Kane Hodder is bringing to the character again and how some of the mo-cap people need to be true stuntmen/women and not just actors. It also makes me even more excited to Friday The 13th: The Game hopefully still this year.
