The Park Due to the success of The Park so far it looks like it has been decided that The Park will also be coming to the next gen consoles With only a few weeks under its belt it looks like The Park has been a great success on the PC and now those who wanted to give it a go on the PS4 and Xbox One will have their turn soon. Friday The 13th In the wake of Friday The 13th: The Game succeeding with Kickstarter we have some new Friday The 13th gameplay to show off what we all may be experiencing in the near future For those following all things Friday The 13th: The Game you will be glad to know that the game has been fully funded via the Kickstarter campaign for the game and production will commence. I am sure that Gun Media was still in the production phase of everything as they waited for the funds to roll in but none the less Friday The 13th is coming to a PC, PS4, and Xbox One near you in the coming year. Friday The 13th A new video for Friday The 13th: The Game has been let loose with the intent of showing off the environments of Friday The 13th's Camp Crystal Lake We are heading into the final stretch of Friday The 13th: The Game getting its funding via the Kickstarter campaign it has. Just under $100K to go still and then Gun Media will be bringing us the basic version of Friday The 13th presumably without the bells and whistles in the stretch goals. Outlast 2 A new teaser trailer for Outlast 2 has been released and a small update on the development for Outlast 2 has been issued from the developer It's been almost a year to the day that we had confirmation that Outlast 2 was in the works. When such a small title that hit so hard as Outlast did sells more that 3.5 million copies it should be quite easy for Red Barrels to work on the sequel. Until Dawn During the press briefing at the Paris Games Week Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood was announced and bringing more Until Dawn to VR With the great success and reception for Until Dawn it is not that big of a shocker that gamers wanted more for the game. Hells, some even went as far as petitioning Supermassive Games to get some form of VR support in the game with the PlayStation VR. Friday The 13th Friday The 13th: The Game has been officially announced and is looking to bring all of the Friday The 13th fun into video games with a 1v7 multiplayer game You may or may not remember the news back in January of this year about there being a Friday The 13th game in the works. It got slyly announced a bit and also shared many of the same qualities for another titled called Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp. Allison Road It was announced today that the Kickstarter for Allison Road has been canceled but it is due to the fact that Allison Road will now have a publisher behind it It is usually never a good thing when we are talking cancelation in the video game industry but in the case of Allison Road it looks to be a good thing. The game hasn't been canceled and Lilith Ltd is still working on it but the Kickstarter campaign for Allison Road has been shut down. Until Dawn A new 'experience' for Until Dawn has been released into the wild that uses Binaural Audio to try and place you in the world of Until Dawn with only your ears to help Until Dawn has been out for six weeks now. Crazy to think about that isn't it? It's also crazy to think about the fact that Supermassive Games missed the opportunity to have Until Dawn launch in October instead and use all of that horror drama for a good use around Halloween. I think Until Dawn would have sold even better than it already has and the reviews even stronger if it matched up but that doesn't change a thing here. SOMA We Sit Down And Review SOMA. Is It Worth Your Time? Is it the horror title that will bring the genre back to fun? Here's Our Review Of Soma As we move into the month of horror there has been one title I have been excited to dive into and it is SOMA. It looks like the best melding of Dead Space and BioShock by Frictional Games with a bit of higher thinking and philosophy mixed in. I won't delve into that too much as it is one of the pivotal aspects of SOMA and I'll keep this as spoiler free as possible but it did capture my eye. SOMA A new web series for SOMA has been released and it is aiming to bring us all deeper into the story behind SOMA with prequel events If you've had the pleasure to play, start to play, or finish SOMA then you know one of the greatest selling points of the game is the story here. It is thought provoking, dark, and just an interesting tale to wrap around the horror events of this PS4 and PC title. In fact for some SOMA has left players wanting more out of Frictional Games in the way of said story. I'm looking for more story and gameplay personally but it looks like all we are getting at this time is an expansion into SOMA with a live-action mini-series that will be available on the web. The Park New screenshots for The Park have been released and they show off a few new characters and environments that we will be exploring in The Park Well look there. We have some new screenshots for The Park and they really show off the horror aspect that Funcom is aiming for in this new PC title they have coming this October. Based on the descriptions given for each it looks like they are really trying to drive home that "parent's worst nightmare" aspect here in The Park. Based on the image of Lorraine here, that is the protagonist of The Park, it looks like she is in for one hell of a night as she goes into rooms like the one she is in with people hanging from meat hooks and most likely cryptic notes about where her kid is in The Park. Allison Road Allison Road has moved on from being a small demo project and is now looking for funding to make Allison Road the game/experience that fans have been looking for It looks like Allison Road is on its way to becoming a full title for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One as Lilith Ltd is now looking to crowd fund the game through Kickstarter.
