Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Wow, what a week we just wrapped up for video games and gaming in general out there. It may have felt like it started a little slow, but then it came out swinging with titles like Dispatch and Intergalactic getting dropped on us in the middle of it all. Atomic Heart The release date for Atomic Heart’s next DLC is set with Atomic Heart taking us even further underwater for the next big part of the story The MOR-4Y was teased not too long ago for Atomic Heart and now we get to fully see and hear what the new DLC for the game is going to offer up. Not that Mundfish did not give us a great feeling for it all in the first place with a good chunk of it taking place underwater. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That was a much busier week for video games than expected but we made it through, finally. There was the dip, as expected, for the American Thanksgiving holiday and now we are wrapping up the dumb Black Friday things that need to happen each year now. That does mean we can get some great deals on video games out there, even if we still have some time to wait for Marvel Rivals, Atomic Heart, and Secret Level to hit us with all of that fun well after all of these things. It is what it is, so we will focus back in on the titles and other elements more than the holidays or pseudo-holidays that are celebrated by humans for some reason… Next week does have the release of a few of those video games we had to talk about and we will have some of that on the site for you to enjoy. Atomic Heart The next DLC for Atomic Heart is on the way this Winter with Atomic Heart taking us a bit underwater We are going to get to dive into a new story soon for Atomic Heart with the announcement of the next DLC on the way. I was under the impression that Mundfish had moved on to their next project, but it turns out that they have been trudging away at something new for us in this world. Something new for Atomic Heart that will take us underwater when it hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this Winter. The wait is finally over and we can all gear up to head out into the zone of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart Of Chornobyl. The game has finally launched out there on the Xbox Series X|S and PC with GSC Game World still working hard to make sure it is the best experience we can expect out there. Projekt Z The release window for Projekt Z: Beyond Order is set up again with the Projekt Z kicking off in Spring 2025 It is the time of year when all of the undead and zombies start to roam, which is why we are back with an update for Projekt Z: Beyond Order. This would be the upcoming shooter from 314 Arts and Maximum Entertainment that we have had a little about before, but this one is one of the bigger updates for the game. Sadly, it does not look like the full game will be out for Halloween as it originally felt like it could be, but we do have the official release window for the game. The Thing New gameplay for The Thing: Remastered is here to show how far this one will have advanced from the original version of The Thing It is finally time to see just how Nightdive Studios is bringing us all yet another classic title back into the fold with The Thing: Remastered. Not that we did not know that they were doing this for what Computer Artworks did before, but more in the way that we have something to actually look at beyond a few stills and some guessing how this 2002 classic is coming to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Lurch New gameplay for Lurch is out there to show off how the nightmares will haunt us in Lurch and force us all to work together Here we go with another haunted house game with new gameplay out there for Lurch. A new title on the way from Bartic Studios for the PC that looks like it will be using a similar look and feel to the gameplay that we have seen in many other games out there. New gameplay for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart Of Chernobyl is out there to offer up all manner of new horrors coming to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. world The gameplay for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart Of Chornobyl keeps on flowing with a lot more to look at even if many of you out there might not know what is being said in the game. PSYCHOFINGER Head into a new zany world with PSYCHOFINGER as we get to see just what PSYCHOFINGER is going to offer us all when it is able to launch into the world One has to love when we get to see more indie games pop up out there and here we go with another called PSYCHOFINGER. A title that has been crafted by a Ukrainian couple with the help of Digerati getting the announcement out there for the PC. All during the Summer Game Fest events that we have going on in the mix at that. Kingdom Hearts A new version of Kingdom Hearts is on the way out there with a Steam version of Kingdom Hearts coming this June If you were holding out to see Kingdom Hearts land on Steam so you can play it there or on the go with the Steam Deck, then your time in the sun is about to come. That is, it looks like Square Enix is finally bringing the whole IP, as of now, over to Steam. From the original Kingdom Hearts all the way up to the latest launch out there will be available on Steam this coming June 13th. Starship Troopers A new expansion is on the way to Starship Troopers: Terran Command to take the fight to Earth for all of our Starship Troopers The fun of Starship Troopers: Terran Command is going to be expanding a bit more with the next DLC on its way to us this June. The next DLC that will have us looking at a whole new area of the IP with The Artistocrats bringing the fight deeper into the mix. If you have not jumped into the bug-squashing fun of the Starship Troopers universe with this title yet, it might be time to do that so you can be fully ready when Slitherine brings us the Urban Onslaught.
