Invincible Two more Invincible characters are joining the fight when Invincible VS releases to us all next year It looks as if the treats are coming early for this Halloween, as we have two more fighters coming to us for Invincible VS when it hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2026. Two more that are coming from the pages of the comics and the screen for the show, with Skybound Games making sure they are a perfect fit for it all. Those characters are Monster Girl and Robot, for those who might have missed all of the clues up until now. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It was certainly a short week around here for the number of video games we were able to get to, but it was still a fun one. Even if we did have to leave some stuff on the floor, we still had news for Dispatch and Zoochosis to take in during the week. On top of that, we had some fun news for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, as it heads onto a new platform. Total Chaos The darkness of Total Chaos is slightly ready for us all to experience with a new demo out there for Total Chaos It is time to get ready for Total Chaos, as we have a bunch of new gameplay footage to look at, and a new demo is out there on the PC for those who are looking for something else scary to add into the Halloween fun. Sadly, this update does not come with Apogee Entertainment giving us all a solid release date for the game, but we'll just need to be happy with what we are getting. Especially as we get to see this new demo and footage for Total Chaos, there will be spoiler parts later in the game, and not something that might hinder our excitement out of the gate for it all. Amanda The Adventurer The release date for Amanda The Adventurer 3 is set for us, and we will see the final chapter of Amanda The Adventurer in a few weeks Let us all get ready for the final run for Amanda The Adventurer with the release date now set down for the final chapter. It has been a ride from MANGLEDmaw Games up to now, and the creepy horror of this IP will be coming to an end on the PC this November 6th. No word on when this will all come to the consoles, as of yet, but that will be a choice that DreadXP will have to work out after the initial release for Amanda The Adventurer 3. Fingers are crossed that it will not be too far down the road, but for now, we will focus on what a good number of us will get to experience in a few weeks from this update. Read More...

Paranormal Activity The Paranormal Activity IP is coming back, with a first look at the gameplay for Paranormal Activity: Threshold after the long wait We have been coming up on two years since we first heard that Paranormal Activity was going to have a video game made about the IP. A title that was coming from DarkStone Digital and DreadXP in the universe, but that was about it. We did not even have confirmation on the platforms it was coming to, or even a specific name for the game, as of yet. Cosmic Invasion The release date for MARVEL Cosmic Invasion is set now, with the Cosmic Invasion starting this coming December The fires are starting up out there for Marvel Cosmic Invasion, as we not only have a new character to look at in the game, but we also have a release date for when Dotemu will make sure we all have access to it. So, to kick things off here, Tribute Games would like us all to know that MARVEL Cosmic Invasion will be hitting the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, and PC on December 1st of this year. Directive 8020 A new little slice of Directive 8020 gameplay is here, and we can get a better feel for the non-dialog gameplay for Directive 8020 Even though we are not getting Directive 8020 for Halloween as originally planned, it does look as if we are getting something to take in for the game during the season and to keep us all going until 2026 when it is slated to hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Not that Supermassive Games wasn't already busy dropping out other titles for us during the season already, but that is a different topic. Bloodlines 2 The next playable clan for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is stepping into the limelight, with the Toreador on display for Bloodlines 2 It looks as if The Chinese Room did opt to leave the brightest for the last when it came to the playable clans in Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2. Not that the Toreador are known for light powers, but they certainly do draw the eyes of mortals to them as a moth to flame. Just in time for Halloween, which does seem to be the MO for MANGLEDmaw Games and DreadXP when it comes to this IP. Little Nightmares The launch for Little Nightmares III is finally here, and we have one more look at the friendships built with Little Nightmares All the fun is finally ready for us all, with the launch of Little Nightmares III on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. No longer do we need to watch the basic things playing out on our screens or play the demo that Supermassive Games placed out there. Invincible The next character for Invincible VS is announced, and it is one of the Invincible characters you might not expect It has been a good clip of time since we had a new character announcement for Invincible VS, and here we are to build that roster out more. Even if this does not feel like the character many might have been expecting Quarter Up and Skybound Games to drop into the game. It is something new, and now we get to see as Cecil Stedman gets to leap from the pages and screen of Invincible over to this fighting game. Phasmophobia Phasmophobia has its Crimson Eye event kicking off again, and running in Phasmophobia on through Halloween It is certainly that time of year, again, where we need to hop back into the frights of Phasmophobia. The Crimson Eye event has kicked off for 2025 with Kinetic Games tasking us all with more to do in the game, as well as unlocking new cosmetics to enjoy out there in the mix. As long as you have some time during October 9th until October 31st of this year. Painkiller More of the gameplay for Painkiller is here, with a look at the various creatures we will be shooting within Painkiller I do hope that all of your normal demon hunting skills are up to date before Painkiller launches on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this coming October 21st.
