John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando Shows Off How We Will Defend Ourselves
by Jana Lass [ Friday, 27th of February 2026 - 10:00 PM ]
Toxic Commando The final class for John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando is out there, and we get to see the defender of the Toxic Commando team Here we go with the final character class in John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando, and this one is all about defense. This is The Defender class, so that makes sense. They're not only about defense, though, as it does look as if Saber Interactive has tossed in a few ways to make the defense a good offense, along with keeping the rest of the Toxic Commando team alive a bit longer. As long as that is your goal when the game hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on March 12th out there. Read More...

Resident Evil Requiem Launches Into The World With A Few Extra Titles
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of February 2026 - 08:00 PM ]
Resident Evil The horrors of Resident Evil have launched so much out there beyond just Resident Evil Requiem as of now The day is here, and Resident Evil Requiem has landed on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC out there. This title has been so anticipated, I am sure that many of you do not need the reminder that it is launching out there, but Capcom is giving it to us all just to be sure. A nice and little reminder that it is out there and the new horrors are ready for us all. That is not all, though, as there is more to the Resident Evil world out there today, and I think that needs a bit more reminding since it also dropped out there today. Read More...

007 First Light Gives Us An Extended Look At Bawma Leading The Markets
by Juliet Meyer [ Thursday, 26th of February 2026 - 10:00 PM ]
007 First Light A new look at 007 First Light gives us another famous face to look at and help sell us all on 007 First Light We have more of the stunt casting coming in here for 007 First Light, as we have a new look at Bawma, who will be played by Lenny Kravitz when it launches. This is something we have heard and seen in the past from IO Interactive, but we have a new, extended look at the character and just what he will bring into the world of 007 First Light. Along with that, we have a little bit of the performance we can see in the game, so we might be able to make sure it is more than just a face and voice having us pick things up on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC when May 27th comes around. That is the hope when we have big names and likenesses forced to be the hype for a game. Read More...

Powerplex Is Coming To Make Sure We Can’t Get Away With Anything In Invincible VS
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of February 2026 - 06:00 PM ]
Invincible The next character for Invincible VS has been announced, and it looks like Powerplex is bringing the fight to Invincible again It looks like the previous invasion is over for Invincible VS, as we have the fourteenth character announced, and it is not another Viltrumite. Thank the gods that Quarter Up and Skybound Games are not just going to keep dropping those characters in the game, even if we still have some time until April 30th when the game lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. We will put all of that aside, though, as we have Powerplex joining the roster of Invincible VS to antagonize our main hero even further. I am sure we will all be up to the task, as the gameplay shows, and now we can see how this fighter is going to try and hold their own in the area with all of these other godlike beings. Read More...

Directive 8020 Filters Out More Of The Deluxe Edition Extras We Will Get
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of February 2026 - 06:00 PM ]
Directive 8020 Directive 8020 will be getting some gameplay filters to play with, along with a few more extras in the Deluxe Edition of Directive 8020 If you were looking for more reasons to pick up the Deluxe Edition of Directive 8020 when it lands on May 12th, then you are little more in luck. It seems as if Supermassive Games is still slow-rolling out all of those updates to us, and now we have some extra gameplay filters we will be able to experience the whole game with. I am never quite sure why these are big things for gamers, but if you need to see the full experience of Directive 8020 in a classic VHS mode while running the game on your PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC, then there will be an option for just that. This Week In Video Games 2/17/26 — 2/20/26
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 21st of February 2026 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That puts another week in the bag around here, and one where we made it mostly through the week with so many video games in tow. Even if it did seem as if we had a few rough weeks in the past, we were back with Resident Evil Requiem, Silent Hill: Townfall, and a new John Wick Game to talk about to catch us all back up. That only scratches the surface of the video games we had to talk about this week, since we also had to play catch-up with Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 and 007 First Light after having so many things drop out there in the mix. Even though we had a slowdown, it feels like we are back up to speed. Read More...

by Jana Lass [ Friday, 20th of February 2026 - 10:00 PM ]
Toxic Commando Two of the character classes in John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando are on display to flesh out some of the Toxic Commandos We have been teased with four different character classes in John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando, and we're here to show off two of them before the game lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this coming March 12th. Two that it seems that Saber Interactive is going to be having us place a whole lot of faith into the Medic and Operator in the mix. As the names suggest, these will be two of the Toxic Commando classes that will keep the squad going just a bit longer. Read More...

by Juliet Meyer [ Friday, 20th of February 2026 - 08:00 PM ]
House Of The Dead Head back into the House Of The Dead again, with the launch of The House Of The Dead 2: Remake Infect’Edition The doors have opened up further for those looking to have the next bit of fun with The House Of The Dead 2: Remake. The Infect’Edition has finally made it out there for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S to give us all more to shoot and survive. Not to mention, it gives us more to experience with what Megapixel Studio has been working on to bring this fun IP out of the old arcades and into our homes again. I know I've lost so many quarters to the classic versions of The House Of The Dead, and now I can just drop one lump sum and make it all the way through the story as I so see fit. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of February 2026 - 06:00 PM ]
Directive 8020 New pre-order bonuses for Directive 8020 are out there, along with an official release date for Directive 8020 It looks like we have a lot more fun for Directive 8020 on the way to us all if we are opting to pre-order the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC. Well, fun might not be the best word to use there, unless you are huge on modding your character's fits and looks long the way. It seems that Supermassive Games has some new things in the mix that link us right back into The Dark Pictures if we so choose to throw down the money for Directive 8020 before May 12th. Oh yeah, that is now the official release date for the game, after all the delays and pushes we have had to endure up until now. Read More...

It Looks Like We Are All Back Into The Life With A New John Wick Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of February 2026 - 06:00 PM ]
John Wick The John Wick Ip lives on with a new John Wick Game announced and bringing us all a true feeling of being in the films The surprises keep on coming out there, even if this is a title that many have been looking for since it became a hit a long time ago, but a new John Wick Game is on the way to us all. A new one and coming from Saber Interactive, who has been having a solid run at games based around film and other IPs out there. That is not a slam; they truly do have a formula down that makes up for all of those crummy movie tie-in video games from the past. Read More...

007 First Light Is Bringing Back The Programme In The New Story
by Juliet Meyer [ Tuesday, 17th of February 2026 - 08:00 PM ]
007 First Light The 00 Programme is back in 007 First Light, with a new look at the story & characters coming to 007 First Light With each new update for 007 First Light, it feels like the story is getting further expanded and showing off that it is more than just a reskin of the title that IO Interactive has brought us all many times before. Even if the team has stated they used a lot of that IP to help shape this one, it is truly starting to feel like it's taking shape and standing on its own, away from Hitman. Even if the DNA of both feels as if they work well with each other. Read More...

The Nightmare Is Ready For Pre-Orders For Resident Evil Requiem
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of February 2026 - 06:00 PM ]
Resident Evil New footage and pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem are here, and you can dive deeper into this Resident Evil story now The days are closing in until we are finally able to play Resident Evil Requiem on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. February 27th is just rushing on up to us, and I am sure Capcom is ready to see how we are all going to take the next title in the long-running line of games. Not that the rabid fans of Resident Evil have not already been champing at the bit to get this one home to see if we really needed more Leon in our lives. I am sure we do, but it feels like a missed chance to give us all something completely new and not testing waters with another character while forcing us to watch as a loved one might be coming to an end.
