The Tetris Effect Is Going To Be Much More Than Syndrome Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Tetris Effect A new VR title is coming with Tetris Effect and Tetris Effect looks to turn the core gameplay into a 3D, immersive experience The first of the PrE3 announcements that we were promised by Son is here and it all starts off with Tetris Effect. A new title coming from Enhance Experience and looking to take this "effect" and bring it to us all in a new way on the PS4 and PSVR. That is right, Tetris Effect will have PSVR support included in at launch and we can play this traditionally 2D game in a full 3D environment. As if we did not have enough to already worry about with the dropping of blocks and clearing of lines. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 4th of June 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Soulcalibur Maxi is joining the roster of Soulcalibur VI and we get to see more of the character in action with the latest trailer for Soulcalibur VI One more fighter has joined the ranks of SoulCalibur VI and it is another one that has shown their face in the past but is still not the largest named character for the franchise. At least that would be the case for me. Anyways, it looks like Bandai Namco has officially added Maxi to the roster for this outing of the franchise and Maxi will have all the flare and nunchaku fans of Soulcalibur could be hoping for. Meet Another New Enemy For GTFO Just Before E3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 4th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
GTFO A few new screenshots for GTFO have popped up just before E3 and they show off more of GTFO as well as a new enemy to track us down Here we go with another title jumping the E3 gun here with GTFO showing us all a little more for the game just before it has a larger showing out at the event itself. My guess is that 10 Chambers Collective did not want to have all of those who could not make it out to see the first demo of the game to feel left out at all. That is why we are here right now with a few new screenshots for GTFO today and a very small amount of new information. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/29/18 — 6/1/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of June 2018 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week I have a feeling that will be the last easy week for video games for the next month or so as we are now in the E3 pond and waiting. We had a few things leak out there or get the full announcement this week. I am sure that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was supposed to be one of those video games, but at least we also had a nice announcement with Fallout 76 in the mix. That and a date to look for Mega Man 11 on and our review of the second episode of The Council. Read More...

Review — The Council: Hide And Seek
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 31st of May 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
The Council We sit down and review The Council: Hide And Seek. This is the second episode of Big Bad Wolf’s interesting take on history & the occult. Here’s our review of The Council: Hide And Seek After a good chunk of time, it looks like the second episode, The Council: Hide And Seek, is finally here for this episodic game. The first episode showed us all how the episodic story game could be changed and Big Bad Wolf did a lot in the way of advancement for this form of game. It set the bar pretty high and now it is time to see how the next episode for The Council fares in all of the mix up. Read More...

New Screenshots For Fear The Wolves Are Here To Entice Us More
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 31st of May 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Fear The Wolves Brand new screenshots for Fear The Wolves have dropped in on us to give us a look at some of the locations and horrors Fear The Wolves will hold Here we go with just a little more to look at for Fear The Wolves today as some new screenshots have dropped for the game. Nothing too spectacular, but that all seems to be just to be a tease as Vostok Games should have more for us out at E3 this year. That is as long as Fear The Wolves is not slapped with down by other Battle Royale titles out there on the PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Given the different setting and mechanics we will see here for the game, as claimed by Focus Home Interactive, I have faith that will not happen. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 29th of May 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Vampyr In a recent developer stream for Vampyr, we had a whole lot of new gameplay to take in so we can better understand what is going on in Vampyr We are now a week away from Vampyr hitting our PS4, Xbox One, or PC and to help that time slip on by, it looks like we have more gameplay to gaze upon for the game. Of course, if you were able to catch the livestream that DontNod brought us from before then you will have already experienced what we will have coming at us here in short order. Given that there may have been many that missed it and want to see more for Vampyr, it is a good thing that it was archived and ready for us to take in now. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of May 2018 - 07:00 PM ]

I hope that you are as that is what we have here for The Sinking City to get us all ready for E3 this year. Just like most other developers and publishers out there, it looks like Frogwares is doing just the same to get gamers ready for a larger reveal during the event. We Are Headed To Moscow In The Latest Gameplay For World War Z
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of May 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
World War Z A new gameplay trailer for World War Z is here to show us how Moscow has been faring in the ongoing World War Z events It has been a good bit of time since we last saw or heard anything for World War Z. Last we had just the announcement that Paramount was tapping Saber Interactive to make the game and we saw pretty much a game engine version of the film so far. Now it is back and taking us to Moscow to show how they are faring in the fight against the undead in the World War Z universe. Spoiler alert, they are doing just about as well as everyone else when the world is taken over by fast zombies that can climb walls and buildings as insects and other vermin. Read More...

Battlefield V Has Been Revealed & Promises To Give Us Things We Have Yet To Experience
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of May 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Battlefield The official Battlefield V reveal event has come and gone and now we have our first look at what Battlefield V will have to offer us Yesterday we finally had our official reveal for Battlefield V and with it came some of the first gameplay and a whole lot of promises. The big one given to us that I am sure DICE wants us to focus on is that we will have a new look at WWII that we have yet to experience before. A lofty claim given that we have had so many other installments into the WWII era and some of them from the Battlefield franchise already. Given how well the last one did in WWI, though, it does feel like a claim that we could be seeing come to light on October 19th when the game hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

See How Different Each Island May Be In Your Jurassic World Evolution
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of May 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Jurassic World New gameplay for Jurassic World Evolution has been shown to give us all a feel for what kind of environmental issues we will face for our Jurassic World Even more gameplay for Jurassic World Evolution is here again and it is another nice twenty-minute block of gameplay showing off another of the islands we will need to work on. This one being the Isla Muerta and it also happens to be one of the islands that has harsher weather patterns by default and will cause us to need to react accordingly. It seems like an island we would not want to build our Jurassic World park on but Frontier Developments needed to give us some kind of challenge when it launches on June 12th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
