The Dangers Of Far Cry 3

Ubisoft has released a new trailer in their game play series for Far Cry 3. Part 2 of the survival guide sheds even more light on the games’ characters and story. Vass, which was mentioned in the first trailer, is revealed to be a drug addict and the leader of a group of black market pirates. Vaas also grows drugs and kidnaps hostages. It seems that Vaas is the person who may be holding Jason Brody’s friends. Other interesting features revealed in the trailer include making your own medicine out of wide array of ingredients found around the island, crafting and hunting to make money to buy new weapons and upgrades and gambling if earning money is not your thing. Splinter Cell Blacklist PAX Prime Ghost Demo

Over the weekend at PAX Prime Ubisoft showed off a new game play demo of Splinter Cell Blacklist. The demo was the same mission from E3 but this time it was a stealth play through. Ubisoft wanted to prove that you can still play through Blacklist using stealth like you played through every other game. Even with the ramped up action and lack of shadows the game still holds true to the series focus of stealth. The game finds the perfect balance between stealth and action. Read More...

See How You Will Survive In Far Cry 3

Ubisoft has released a new trailer outlining the ways you may survive on the Rook Islands in Far Cry 3. The trailer shows some pretty crazy stuff such as exploring ancient temples and fighting off tigers and other wild animals. The trailer also sheds some light on the story and characters. It seems like there is a native tribe on the island lead by a women named Citra that will help main character Jason Brody survive the many dangers on the island. Her brother Vaas was also mentioned in the trailer but not much was revealed about him. Other things that were shown in the trailer include using zip lines, gliders and driving bikes and other vehicles. Read More...

A Few Inside Looks At Assassin's Creed III

So about two weeks ago we were given a look at Assassin's Creed III's Naval Combat, but we didn't get many details on what is going on and what we will get to control. More or less it was a showing that just further confirmed what was announced at E3. If you venture a little bit lower here, you will see a similar video as before, only this time with a little bit of explanation. I do mean little though. Assassin's Creed III Hits The High Seas

We've heard and seen a bit about Naval Warfare in Assassin's Creed III. We know it's going to be a feature in the game. With the below trailer from Gamescom we get, pretty much the exact same thing just with a bit more game play footage for the game. You'd think that there would be at least a few more details given here seeing as the game is so close to launch, but I guess not. But hey, who's going to look a bit more game play in a bad way? In Assassin's Creed III it has been announced that one of the ways to make some scratch to upgrade will be through the form of hunting in the wilderness. Connor can collect pelts and the like and sell them and depending on the quality of the pelt and kill he can make a lot of cash. Cash he will most likely need to use to upgrade all of his stuff. Looks Like The Assassin's Creed III "Collector's Edition" Has Been Outed

Well more the "collector's edition" and I'm guessing its not so expesive younger siblings as well. Looks like we will have a few choices to make when it comes to pre-ordering or out right buying when it comes to Assassin's Creed III. There are three different "editions" of the game for us to spend out hard earned money on. As usual there is a "Special Edition" that will most likely just be a fancy way of saying "here's a free upgrade for being a fan but not really because anyone can just buy it." Assassin's Creed III Officially Announced. Here's The Trailer

Last week we saw a load of "leaked" information for Assassin's Creed III. In fact if you look below there are a few more screen shots that we didn't get up before the official announcement. Take a look and then move on to what Ubisoft wanted to be the official announcement. Now that is out of the way, let's move on. While not much more is given out about the game there is a nice new announcement trailer showing how the new engine is looking. Is Assassin's Creed III Taking On The American Revolutionary War?

While it was chalked up as a rumor as of yesterday, it looks like we can confirm that Assassin's Creed III will be taking place during the American Revolutionary War. Using Intimidation As A Tactic In I Am Alive

Earlier in my hands on with I Am Alive I spoke about who will be able to use intimidation and other tactics as a form of "combat" in the game. Also how not everyone needs to be killed but instead bypassed in other ways. Well it would seem that Ubisoft didn't think I fully explained it there or at least that is how I am taking it since there is a new video showcasing this part of the game. If you look below you will see a new trailer for the game and it really does explain things a bit better than I did. It also shows another weapon that wasn't even mentioned in the demo I played. CES 2012 Hands On: I Am Alive

Talk about a game that has an aptronym. That's a name that describes what it does for those scratching their head there. I Am Alive has survived a near cancelation and multiple delays since it was first announced Darkworks was developing it almost four years ago. Don't Forget Assassin's Creed Revelations Is Coming Out Next Week

With all the games that we have/will be bombarded with in the short time frame, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Modern Warfare 3, Need For Speed: The Run, Saints Row: The Third and Halo Combat Evolved to name a few, let's not forget Assassin's Creed: Revelations is also in the mix - coming up here on the 15th to be exact.
