Guitar Hero Live Twelve more tracks have been added to Guitar Hero Live and while not all classics songs they are coming to Guitar Hero Live from past titles in the franchise Time to make the track list for Guitar Hero Live a not so round number of 121 now as we have twelve more tracks to add to the list today. Quite a hefty starting catalog for FreeStyleGames to get in there and I'll take it. Another premium show for Guitar Hero Live has been revealed with Avenged Sevenfold taking the bill and letting us play a live concert in Guitar Hero Live For the most part it the title above kind of explains the news here for Guitar Hero Live and the latest Premium Show that has been added to the list. It looks like Avenged Sevenfold is getting another crack with an Activision title here as we will get to play the three song long set here in FreeStyleGames' title in way of a live concert. It did allow for us to play catch-up on all of those video games we had sitting around or just launched here recently. There have been ten more tracks added to the ever growing list of Guitar Hero Live songs that will be playable when Guitar Hero Live officially launches There is still over a month before Guitar Hero Live hits homes around the world. October 20th will creep up on us like a bad burrito and we'll be jamming out to all the songs that FreeStyleGames could cram into Guitar Hero Live's disc. Of course this will be expanded based on all of the other options Activision is forcing into Guitar Hero Live to make sure we have a well-rounded set list of songs but we'll focus completely on the disc list as that will be available for all who purchase Guitar Hero Live no matter what. It looks like Guitar Hero Live will have vocals in the mix as well to keep Guitar Hero Live up to snuff with its competitors It looks like Guitar Hero Live is getting something that many have wondered would be included since it was first announced; vocals. It looks like FreeStyleGames didn't want to leave any Guitar Hero fans left out or Activision wanted to make sure it could truly compete with Guitar Hero Live's competitor in the gameplay options and not just the soundtrack. More reviews and more news for all kinds of video games to come. I truly love that we were able to bookend this week with Until Dawn and had quite a few other zombie type announcements with Zombi and Advanced Warfare DLC. That is also if we miss out on the world of video games getting Mafia 3 coming with more news next week on that. Another new gameplay feature for Guitar Hero Live has been announced in the way of premium shows that can unlock even more items in Guitar Hero Live So far we've seen a few of the cool new ways that Guitar Hero Live will be changing the franchise as well as the genre of game. There are so many other things that could go on with the rhythm genre but here we are getting what are called Premium Shows for Guitar Hero Live. FreeStyleGames are trying to think outside the box and here we are getting playable concert footage or debut music videos just for the game. FreeStyleGames has their work cut out for them to do this but as long as they keep the tunes flowing for Guitar Hero Live I doubt anyone will take up issue unless the controllers begin failing out of the box. Star Power is a thing of the past as Guitar Hero Live brings new Hero Powers to the franchise and we have the details on how they will change Guitar Hero Live We would have been a bit daft to think that Guitar Hero Live wouldn't be bringing back Star Power in some way or another. For those not fully up to snuff on the Guitar Hero lingo that would be the extra boost you get when you tilt the guitar during gameplay. While At E3 I Got To See Guitar Hero Live In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Given the fact that Guitar Hero Live was announced and slightly shown off recently from FreeStyleGames and Activision it wouldn't be E3 without getting to see it in action. Especially since the controller scheme has been changed up as well as a bit of the gameplay. Of course it was on the show floor and ready for play at E3 or you wouldn't be reading this before the October 20th release date on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, and Wii U. Activision and FreeStyleGames has released the first set of tracks coming to Guitar Hero Live and it's not all to surprising So we've seen the idea behind Guitar Hero Live and what Activision and FreeStyleGames has in the pipeline for us but we all really want to know which rock stars we are going to be pretending to be in the virtual world. Yes the announcement event did give us a couple but we know that there is supposed to be a huge catalog of licenses artists and songs for us to play through. During the Microsoft Build Developer Conference Square Enix showed of their Witch Chapter 0 to show the power of DirectX 12 There is no doubt that Square Enix has always been on the leading side of computer graphics and rendering in the gaming world but with their most recent tech demo Witch Chapter 0 [cry] they were able to show off where we can expect to see our next games to go from them. During the Microsoft Build Developer Conference this week showed off said tech demo to show how DirectX 12 can be used to do some truly amazing things visually. In the case of their Witch Chapter 0 [cry] demo it showed how we could get some of the best real-time CG rendering that has been able to pull off a damn impressive CG version of someone crying. Konami has confirmed that Silent Hills is no longer in the works and will be pulling P.T. from the PS4 on April 29th It is never a good day when you have to start with the somber news that Silent Hills has been canned. Not only has Konami confirmed that the game is no longer in production but it is also pulling P.T. from the PlayStation Store on April 29th to kind of further the nail into the coffin for such an amazing looking concept.
