Shadow Of War A new update for Shadow Of Mordor has released that will carry over Nemesis & Followers to Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War If you had planned on getting to start completely new for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War, then you were right to think that as before now it didn't seem like there was going to be much of a bridge besides story for this title and Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor. For most gamers this is still an option, but for those who had some great nemesis and followers from the first game it looks like Monolith Productions is going to give us the option to carry over the best of each when we spin up the new game on October 10th. Shadow Of War A new trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has just dropped and it gives us a glimpse of the other lands Shadow Of War will have to offer us all It's been a nice little bit since we had something new for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War and now we get to come at you with an open-world kind of trailer to look at. It's not the kind that you would assume with all of the other open-world trailers we get, but this one shows off more of the fighting as well as a few of the new places that Monolith Productions has put together for us to explore so it isn't all Mordor and the surrounding areas. Ancestors A new in-engine video for Ancestors has been released to show us just how the Ancestors RTS feel will go between god and unit It's going to sound odd talking about Ancestors here knowing that there are two titles coming out with that as the main title for the game. The version we are going to talk about here though is the RTS title coming from 1C and Destructive Creations for the Xbox One and PC and not the weird ancient history simulator that we've heard a little about before. This version of Ancestors will be taking us through history, but all in the vein of murdering each other in glorious battle between four different nations. Shadow Of War The first bit of gameplay for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is finally here and now we can see how Shadow Of War has progressed from its predecessor Just as promised last week, here we go with some solid new gameplay for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War. Not only does it show off some amazing combat but it looks like Monolith Productions has gone out of their way to vastly improve the Nemesis mechanic in the game as it could very well leap over to many other aspects and characters in the game. Mix that in with some cinematic and over-the-top looking battles, Shadow Of War looks just like where the game needed to head toward and so far so good. Shadow Of War Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has been announced and looks to bring us all back into the universe with new Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War gameplay coming soon It looks like Lord Of The Rings fans can start to lose their shit again as now Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has been officially announced as a sequel to the critically-acclaimed Shadow Of Mordor from a few years ago. If you couldn't get enough of the universe or the Nemesis system that Monolith Productions gave us before then of course you are already losing your mind as now we will get a whole new story for the franchise as well as an upgraded system to further your love. New World Three new games have been announced, New World, Breakaway, And Crucible, from Amazon Games Studios and all three have a description and videos for New World, Breakaway, And Crucible It's not every day that we get three titles announced from one developer but TwitchCon is a fun thing and now we have New World, Breakaway, and Crucible to look at. All three of which are in the works from Amazon Game Studio and headed to the PC at some time in the near future. Feral Rites Insomniac is working on two more VR experiences, Feral Rites & The Unspoken, for the Oculus and both Feral Rites & The Unspoken looks to bring us something completely new Fresh off their most recent amazing release it looks like Insomniac Games has two more games/experiences for us later this year in terms of Feral Rites and The Unspoken. Oculus While at CES 2016 I was able to play with the Oculus Rift & Oculus Touch in a more intimate setting than just a video. Here's my take on the Oculus Rift & Oculus Touch Obviously one of the big items around CES 2016 was the Oculus Rift; especially since it went up for pre-order and all of the new details cropped up just at the beginning of the show. That of course led to a whole lot of debate on if the Oculus Rift was going to be worth the $600 price tag out the door or if it was going to be another overpriced gizmo with a lot of buyer's remorse. This led me to take over the job of checking out the hardware of the Oculus Rift and Oculus Touch controllers to see if the price point made sense for where the system is now or if, like I said, it was something that could be left behind. Kojima Productions Kojima Productions is back in action and it looks like SCE is partnering with Kojima Productions to make their first title a PS4 console exclusive The dramathon between Konami and Kojima is over and Kojima Productions is back in full swing. In fact they are in such a full swing over there that today Kojima Productions signed and announced a partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment for their first title the developer will be pumping out for us all. That of course means a console exclusive to the PS4 for whatever Kojima Productions' first title may be now that they are a fully independent studio.
