Shadow Of War
Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has been announced and looks to bring us all back into the universe with new Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War gameplay coming soon
It looks like Lord Of The Rings fans can start to lose their shit again as now Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has been officially announced as a sequel to the critically-acclaimed Shadow Of Mordor from a few years ago. If you couldn't get enough of the universe or the Nemesis system that Monolith Productions gave us before then of course you are already losing your mind as now we will get a whole new story for the franchise as well as an upgraded system to further your love. Not only that, but the wait for Shadow Of War won't be too far out as even though this is an announcement for the game, it is slated to launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this coming August 22nd. Yea, none of that waiting a few years after the announcement stuff that we normally get.
While the announcement does state a lot of the favorite mechanics from before will be back in Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War all we have to look at is an amazing pre-rendered announcement trailer for the game right now. That will only last about a week or so though and not because it will be played out, but because next week were are supposed to be getting some actual gameplay to gaze upon here. March 8th to be exact but for now all we have is this to get us all back in the mood and ready to bring Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War into our hearts as we have before with the other title. Have a look at a bit of what we may have in-store for us and then get ready to be hyped up for another week as we wait.
Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War — Announce Trailer
Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is the sequel to the critically-acclaimed Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor, winner of more than 50 industry awards—including the 2015 Game Developers Choice Awards’ Game of the Year, Outstanding Innovation in Gaming at the 2015 D.I.C.E. Awards and the BAFTA for Game Design. Developed by Monolith Productions, Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War features an original story with the return of Talion and Celebrimbor, who must go behind enemy lines to forge an army and turn all of Mordor against the Dark Lord, Sauron.
It is slightly gone over in the trailer above, but it looks like the story of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War will not only be placing us back in the roles of Talion and Celebrimbor. We will be wielding a new Ring Of Power all to confront Sauron and his Nazgul in an epic battle to define the landscape of Middle-Earth. At least that is all the hype we have for now that mixes in with the above announcement trailer. I swear that they should have just given it all right now as it seems wasteful to have an announcement for a title not too far off and then follow up so shortly with gameplay. As if we wouldn't have been just as excited to get all of that in one fell swoop. I guess Monolith Productions needed to spend some of that publisher money just for fun.
How excited are you that we now have Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War coming to follow up what everyone loved before? Do you think that the Nemesis System will have had an overhaul or will it function just as it did before with maybe a few new tweaks here and there? What is your hope for how all of this will play out in the grander scheme of things? Let us know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. For more on Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War and all of its gameplay, be sure to stick right here as we'll keep bringing you all of the new and updates for this as we get it and you won't want to miss out on a single thing. Especially in the coming week.
