Skylanders Imaginators Honors Crash Bandicoot A Bit Before Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of September 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Skylanders New gameplay for Skylanders Imaginators has been released and it shows off one of the new Skylanders we all know as Crash Bandicoot We've all known that Crash was coming to the PS3 and PS4 version of Skylanders Imaginators and if not then you know now. He will be coming to the game in form of one of the new Sensei characters that Toys For Bob have built for the game and through the seemingly close relationship that Activision has with PlayStation now. Of course Skylanders Imaginators is also coming to the Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii U on October 16th but this is the console exclusive we are talking about here and just like the last addition to the franchise we'll only be talking about the Sony version for now. Well, Crash has just hit his 20th anniversary and it looks like Skylanders Imaginators wants to help celebrate it all with some new gameplay showing him in action in the game. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 8/1/16 — 8/5/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of August 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games That was another great and solid week in video games now wasn't it? We had a whole lot of great and not so great updates for many of the titles we are looking forward to. Yes we did have to see Outlast 2 get delayed and that we will have to pay for the extras on Final Fantasy XV but on the plus side we were able to see amazing things for Hellblade and No Man's Sky. The last game there coming out next week at that. Further proof that video games are always adding to things right up to the launch of titles and then beyond. Read More...

Don't Panic As We Have No Man's Sky's Guide To The Galaxy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
No Man's Sky Another roundup trailer for No Man's Sky has been released and it sums up the four basic pillars of No Man's Sky in one solid place before launch Only a few days until No Man's Sky finally hits the PS4 and PC and I know many of you can't wait. Hells, there are people out there paying obscene amounts of money to play what Hello Games has built for us all because they can't wait. Kind of crazy to think but none the less No Man's Sky still launches this coming Tuesday and we still have some more to see for this procedurally generated title. A title that is still only stated to last 20 to 30 hours even though it was originally claimed to have so many options there wasn't a finite duration. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/25/16 — 7/29/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of July 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games We missed out on the recap of video games last week due to all of the insanity of SDCC but we are back this week. Things just always seem to get so crazy during this part of the month but it does give us a whole lot to discuss and bring you so we won't complain too much here. We did get more on Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare and South Park: The Fractured But Whole out of it all didn't we? Not to mention all of the other video games that held their updates until after we all got back from the convention and could recoup. Read More...

Fight, Trade, & Survive Your Way Through No Man's Sky
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
No Man's Sky The other three aspect trailers for No Man's Sky crept out on us and now we get to see how No Man's Sky will play in all aspects It looks like I was wrong when it came to the recent intro videos for No Man's Sky that we were getting here. Originally the first one was released by Hello Games with enough time to release one each week up until its August 9th release. I guess it's good for all of us wanting more for No Man's Sky as it looks like the rest of the videos are out there and we get to see just what we are going to get in terms of the core gameplay of the game. At least the four main aspects that they wanted to focus on here in the game. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/11/16 — 7/15/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of July 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games This week seemed to drag on but luckily we had all kinds of video games and all their news to keep us entertained and moving forward. That isn't to say that we didn't have some cool things come out like the new stuff for No Man's Sky and Call Of Duty. Then we had the flip flop on the Batman franchise although both of the video games in question there were from different developers. I guess it's best to get all of that out before SDCC this year as that kicks off next week and I am sure we're going to see a whole lot more out there during that event. Read More...

It Is Time To Go And Explore No Man's Sky
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
No Man's Sky A new video series for No Man's Sky has kicked off and now we are getting a look at the four main aspects of No Man's Sky's gameplay Last we heard that No Man's Sky has gone gold and that August 9th is completely locked in and now it looks like we are getting video break downs of the core aspects of the game. According to the Hello Games these are Explore, Trade, Fight, and Survive. That does seem to be a lot more than I remember them stating before but this is a good thing as it gives me personally more to look at for No Man's Sky as well as to get behind all of the hype the game has produced for so long. No Man's Sky Has Finally Gone Gold So Stop With Your Hate
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
No Man's Sky It has just been confirmed that No Man's Sky has finally hit gold status and No Man's Sky will be hitting it new release date It seems like only a month ago that we were hearing about death threats over No Man's Sky being delayed until August 9th. Thankfully the pillow forts that were built over at Hello Games to shield them all worked as it looks like they have no wrapped up development and the game is ready to start going into the process to come out to us. Now the only delays we may see for No Man's Sky will be if the marketing team feels like they need more time to sell more copies. As if the rabid and, to me still unfounded, love wouldn't already be enough already. Read More...

E3 2016 Impressions — Skylanders Imaginators
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of June 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Skylanders While at E3 I was able to see Skylanders Imaginators in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Skylanders Imaginators Just as with every year since the franchise's start we have Skylanders Imaginators as the new addition to the franchise. We had the announcement that Toys For Bob is working on bringing us something new for the franchise and genre but at E3 Activision had a nice showing of the game from a bit of behind the scenes. We were allowed to see Skylanders Imaginators while out on the floor and also had a nice description of what will be coming to this franchise to make us shell out even more cash for the game and toys. All of which launching on October 16th for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii U. Read More...

There's An Update On The Release Date For No Man's Sky
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of June 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
No Man's Sky No Man's Sky has been truly delayed and it looks like it is not to make No Man's Sky sync up as a world wide release Well I hope you weren't completely set on the day that you were going to get to play No Man's Sky on your PS4. Even though Hello Games has been working their asses off to make sure the game comes out at their set date it looks like the game has been met with a delay. Not some minor week or two delay we are talking a massive delay in terms of video games as No Man's Sky has been delayed a few months now. Get ready for all those tears that I personally won't understand. Read More...

Now We Get To Design Our Own Toys In Skylanders Imaginators
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of June 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Skylanders Another addition to the franchise is announced with Skylanders Imaginators and it aims to let us craft our own Skylanders just for the new fight It's another new years and it would be complete without an announcement like Skylanders Imaginators as another new title to add into the toys-to-life genre. As if Activision and Toys For Bob haven't raked in enough money on this property so far and had other companies try their hand in the same way. Of course as they usually do, it also looks like Skylanders Imaginators is bringing yet another new feature to the genre in the fact that you get to design your own Skylander to play in the game. Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Well that wraps another great week in video games for us here. All kinds of news and review popped up this week for all of our favorite video games now didn't they? Review — Skylanders SuperChargers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of October 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Skylanders We Sit Down And Review Skylanders SuperChargers. Does the addition of vehicles drive the franchise forward or just add more toys to the ever-growing shelf? Here's Our Review of Skylanders SuperChargers It's been another year and that means that it is time for more toys-to-life video games with the addition of Skylanders SuperChargers to the ever-growing franchise. Skylanders are back from Vicarious Visions and this time they have brought vehicles to mix things up and try to stop the evil lord Kaos in his tracks. Kaos and all of the other evil beings that seem to be under his employ or just trying to run amuck in the world of Skylands. Read More...

SDCC Experience — The Walking Dead Escape 2015
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of July 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead Escape Was Back At SDCC Giving All Of Us A Feel For What A Survival Horror Game Really Feels Like Another SDCC down and another fun run of The Walking Dead Escape to show us all how a survival horror kind of game could be like in the real world. If this is your first time reading about The Walking Dead Escape this would be the zombie obstacle course that has been set up out in San Diego's Petco Park for the fourth year running. Pun intended. The quick breakdown, if you don't want to read our original write up, is that you get grouped together with a small group of other "Runners" and then set loose to get from one end of a set up obstacle course to the other all while a group of other paid participants dressed as the "Walkers" try to corner you and end your life.
