by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 25th of February 2017 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site Thus concludes another week covering all those video games. It's been another doozy of a week but now we get to sit back and relax and play all of those games we've been talking about again. Seems like I've said that before, but none the less here we are again. Sitting and wait for those video games like Horizon Zero Dawn and Mass Effect: Andromeda to come out here in the next week or two. Read More...

Mimics Are Everywhere In Prey And We Will Add To The Madness
by Jana Lass [ Thursday, 23rd of February 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Prey A new gameplay video for Prey has released to showcase how we can use the powers of the Mimics in Prey to get around the game and survive One could say that once you've seen one of Prey's mimics in action then you've seen them all. That one person would be wrong as mimic can look and act like anything, but it gets even more compounded by the fact that Arkane Studios has also given us all the ability to do the same in the game through one of the first powers we unlock in the game. We've seen the enemies use it before but now we get to see just how we will get to handle it in Prey and it looks like it could be something truly silly or something that could save our lives in the game. Something that seems to be the case in all of Bethesda's titles now doesn't it? Read More...

Project Prelude Rune & A New Studio, Studio Istolia, For It Have Just Been Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of February 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Studio Istolia A new studios, Studio Istolia, has been announced as well as Studio Istolia's first IP being in the works in terms of Project Prelude Rune If for some reason you didn't think that Square Enix had a lot on their table already, they go out and set up a whole new studio in the way of Studio Istolia. This would be a whole new studio that has been founded in Japan and has been tasked with bringing more great story titles out to us all with their first getting the codename of Project Prelude Rune. Given that this is only an announcement for Studio Istolia and the first IP it is working, there isn't much more to go on than that but at least we know that we have another contender in the gaming world and their aim is to bring more story based titles to us. Prey Gets A Nice Long Bit Of Gameplay To Spoil The Opening Of The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of February 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Prey The first hour of Prey has been played out there and now we have some great Prey gameplay chunks to see just how the game opens and handles There are still many months until Prey is officially released, May 5th is still the date, but it seems that Arkane Studios couldn't hold back from giving out some sweet demo action for us all. A nice hour long section of demo for the game at that and it is filled with a whole lot of what the game is going to bring to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Well at least as much as the people over at Bethesda wanted to give out to us for Prey so far but still that means that we all get a nice look at the current state of the game and to see how it is truly holding up from the predecessor's fame. Gwent A new content update for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game's beta is coming next week and will bring the Nilfgaard faction to Gwent in the process Gwent: The Witcher Card Game may still be in a closed beta setting here but it looks like the updates for the game's content will not be missing out on major things while we are getting prepped for the full release. As it looks, we will be seeing yet another faction coming to the game from CD Projekt RED here soon just as was promised and mentioned a few times in the past. Marvel & Square Enix Have Partnered To Bring Many Games Starting With The Avengers
by Julia Schoebel [ Thursday, 26th of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Avengers A new partnership has been announced and we are getting a new Avengers game from Marvel & Square Enix that will tell an original Avengers story in the vast universe There were some nice teases over the last few days on a new announcement coming from Marvel and Square Enix with a lot of speculation aimed at a "Marvel World" being in Kingdom Hearts III being the big news. It looks like all of that is completely wrong as now we know that it was all to announce the two giant's partnership and that we will be getting a full on video game for The Avengers sometime in the near-ish future. 2018 seems to be the year thrown around here but that doesn't stop it the excitement as there will be a nice big and flashy new Avengers game to be played out there in the mix of all of the other Marvel titles also on the way this year and the next. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of January 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Prey The release date for Prey has been set and we also have a nice new look at Prey's gameplay as we wait for May to inch ever so closer The date has been set for Prey now and it looks like we can add another video game into the mix of things in May now. Yep, it looks like Arkane Studios will be wrapping up everything to get the game out to us on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 5th here. That seems to be a nice date range for so many other video games out there and now Prey joins the ranks. Then we can see just how the "reboot" of the IP will pan out for Bethesda and this fairly successful developer they have tasked with it all. Read More...

Learn The Basics On How To Play Gwent: The Witcher Card Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of January 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Gwent Since Gwent: The Witcher Card Game has undergone a few changes recently in the beta it may be time to relearn Gwent in preparation for its upcoming release Since the beta for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game kicked off last year we've seen a few things get changed up and reworked to make sure the game is at its best that it can be. It really is what CD Projekt RED is going for here instead of the usual demo hidden as a beta thing that most other companies go for when they really just want to hype a game or test their servers before launch. That all said, we've seen changes that some love and other disagree with but for those who are still not in or playing the beta currently, you may need a breakdown for how Gwent is played here as it is a bit different than its original inception back in The Witcher 3. Husk Will Be Terrifying Us All Early In February
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of January 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Husk The release date for Husk has finally been set and gamers will be playing Husk early in February on their PCs Horror fans should rejoice as here we go with another title coming our way in the form of Husk as it now has a release date for us. Maybe you've heard of the game or maybe you haven't but that doesn't change the fact that UndeadScout is bringing it to us on February 3rd as of now. Until now it has been a relatively quiet development cycle for Husk but it has caught our eyes over here and has also put out some rather creepy gameplay videos so it can live up to the likes of Silent Hill and Alan Wake. Both titles that the have been listed by IMGN. Read More...

Prey Could Be A New Horror Game If The AI So Chooses It For Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Prey In a recent interview for Prey it was revealed that Prey could end up being a new horror game based on how the AI works with its abilities Up to now Prey has been generally shown off as a nice action filled space adventure, of sorts, but since a recent interview on how some of the creatures react in the game it looks like Arkane Studios may have also made a horror game in the mix. At least if the AI of the game has anything to say about it as it looks like those Mimics in the game are not going to be scripted events but all how the game will react at will. That's right, Prey's little beasts will create random jump scares and tense situations just by doing what they do in general. Read More...

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game Is Shaking Up Player Progression A Bit Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Gwent A new player progression system is coming to Gwent: The Witcher Card Game with the next patch update and it aims to mix up the Gwent leveling system in a good way If you are already playing in the Gwent: The Witcher Card Game beta then get ready to see things get changed up a bit yet again. Of course this is something we should always be ready for when in a beta and especially here as CD Projekt RED is looking to give us the best version of this little game that they can and are not married to many of the gameplay designs yet. This is a good thing before you get on a high horse about your Gwent never staying the same. Read More...
