This Week In Video Games 6/24/24 — 6/28/24
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of June 2024 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just when we thought things might have slowed down after all of the video games announced and updated recently, we had another full week. A little on the slower side, but still a full one. I have a feeling that is to further build up to SDCC in the coming month along with making sure Terminator: Survivors and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 are getting the correct highlight as they deserve. All while giving us more for Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed and our review of Capes to be able to join the mix of the video games out there too. Read More...

Damned 2 Is On Its Way To Allow More Of Us To Become The Monster Inside
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of June 2024 - 05:00 PM ]
Damned A sequel to Damned is on the way with Damned 2 offering up a bit more gameplay out of the gamescom latam event Another asymmetrical multiplayer title is on the way with Damned 2 getting a new showcasing during the gamescom latam event going down. A new way for us to experience some horror in the world on the PC from 9heads Games Studios, so hopefully you have not been burnt out on that genre as of yet. If you have, maybe Damned 2 will offer up something new for you as it is not based on any specific IP and could be able to branch out further than the others. All while keeping players working together and trying to outfox the monster that we all know is lurking inside. Read More...

Review — Capes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of June 2024 - 07:00 PM ]
Capes We sit down and review Capes. One more take on superheroes, in a new world, and with some fun turn-based functions. Here is our review of Capes In a time when superhero media is all over the place and having a hard time giving us something new, Capes jumps out there in the mix to give it a shot. This would be the latest title from Spitfire Interactive and Daedalic Entertainment that is aiming to give us some of that while also mixing the turn-based gameplay too. This is something we have seen to a point, but Capes is going to try to stand out like others have in the past. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of June 2024 - 09:00 PM ]
Endzone The colony needs some new guidance in Endzone 2 and here we have a look at just what else the world of Endzone will need from us The world is always changing and it seems to be the same thing we are going to be seeing in Endzone 2. As long as we are willing to set out and do that again when Gentlymad Studios brings this sequel title to the PC when it is ready. Then we will get more of the colony-building and Sim City style gameplay out there, again, just in the Endzone universe of things. Which is why we are here again, so we can see how things have progressed and get ready with a little more of the gameplay to experience before the massive information dumps we know should be coming down the line. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That is a wrap on this week and the various video games we had to cover in the mix. Also a genre that will have us heading to an alien world and using some alien tech out there in the mix. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of June 2024 - 09:00 PM ]
Metal Gear Solid New gameplay for Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater is here to tease us with how we will be once again unstoppable in Metal Gear Solid It was not all that sneaky for a game like Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater to drop some new gameplay on us here recently during the massive information drops we have had. Konami, more or less, indicated that we were going to be getting something during all of them to further build up the hype. Okay, that is still a good bit to have to wait to get the next title out there, but that just means you can spend more time with the other titles that Retro Studios has out there for the Metroid Prime line already. That and watch a bit of the new gameplay that we were able to get our hands on for the game. Read More...

Blast Into Some Of The New Gameplay We Have For Funko Fusion
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of June 2024 - 07:00 PM ]
Funko A lot of new gameplay for Funko Fusion is out there to let us see how many of our favorite Funko characters will function In the mix of all of the craziness we have had for our video games, we might have missed out on some solid gameplay for Funko Fusion that was dropped out there. Thankfully, during the Nintendo Direct and a few other things, 10:10 Games has made sure we all get to see this new gameplay well before the September 13th release date for the game. All so we can get better used to seeing more of the Funko figures running around on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC while not just cluttering up our walls and shelves out there. They are still going to do that, but we can also let the darker fantasies start to play out too. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of June 2024 - 07:00 PM ]
A Quiet Place A new game based on A Quiet Place is on the way with the full announcement we have for A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead It felt like it was only a matter of time until we had a video game set in the universe of A Quiet Place and that time is now. Well, it will be at some point during 2024 with the announcement that Stormind Games and Saber Interactive are working on a title for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A title that will be missing the release of the new film, but thankfully only shares the universe and does not seem to be one of those dreaded adaptation games. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just as we assumed, this was a crazy-filled week for video games after all of the massive events that took place over the weekend. Massive events that really did not do much more than to sell us on some titles and not really show them off. Thankfully, we were able to dig up some good gameplay for Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin’s Creed Shadows in the mix. Also, a bit more for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 and a great look at DOOM: The Dark Ages too. Read More...
