Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just when we thought things might have slowed down after all of the video games announced and updated recently, we had another full week. A little on the slower side, but still a full one. I have a feeling that is to further build up to SDCC in the coming month along with making sure Terminator: Survivors and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 are getting the correct highlight as they deserve. Damned A sequel to Damned is on the way with Damned 2 offering up a bit more gameplay out of the gamescom latam event Another asymmetrical multiplayer title is on the way with Damned 2 getting a new showcasing during the gamescom latam event going down. A new way for us to experience some horror in the world on the PC from 9heads Games Studios, so hopefully you have not been burnt out on that genre as of yet. If you have, maybe Damned 2 will offer up something new for you as it is not based on any specific IP and could be able to branch out further than the others. Capes We sit down and review Capes. One more take on superheroes, in a new world, and with some fun turn-based functions. Here is our review of Capes In a time when superhero media is all over the place and having a hard time giving us something new, Capes jumps out there in the mix to give it a shot. This would be the latest title from Spitfire Interactive and Daedalic Entertainment that is aiming to give us some of that while also mixing the turn-based gameplay too. Pneumata New gameplay for Pneumata is out here with a look at more of the terror Pneumata will give us to beat the heat Things keep on creeping out there for Pneumata and here we go with a little more to get us ready for its release. A release that is still coming at some point during the Summer for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC from Deadbolt Interactive and Perp Games. While we are still waiting to get that release date set down, and after another of the many "live streams" that have gone down, we have some new footage for Pneumata to give us more of the intensity. Endzone The colony needs some new guidance in Endzone 2 and here we have a look at just what else the world of Endzone will need from us The world is always changing and it seems to be the same thing we are going to be seeing in Endzone 2. As long as we are willing to set out and do that again when Gentlymad Studios brings this sequel title to the PC when it is ready. Then we will get more of the colony-building and Sim City style gameplay out there, again, just in the Endzone universe of things. Otherskin A new title, Otherskin, is on the way to us with Otherskin giving us many new ways to play an action combat video game out there Get ready to set out on a whole new and deadly mission with the reveal of Otherskin. This is a new action-adventure title coming from Game Atelier and FDG Entertainment that is looking to scratch any of those itches you might have for the genre. Also a genre that will have us heading to an alien world and using some alien tech out there in the mix. In fact, the title Otherskin seems to stem from the fact our protagonist will have just that in a new alien suit that gives the ability to morph into other things and gain a few extra abilities with it. Metroid It is time to lose your mind Metroid fans with the recent announcement we have for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond coming in 2025 If there was any worry that Samus Aran was not going to be back at all, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is now announced and heading out there for the Nintendo Switch in 2025. Okay, that is still a good bit to have to wait to get the next title out there, but that just means you can spend more time with the other titles that Retro Studios has out there for the Metroid Prime line already. Funko A lot of new gameplay for Funko Fusion is out there to let us see how many of our favorite Funko characters will function In the mix of all of the craziness we have had for our video games, we might have missed out on some solid gameplay for Funko Fusion that was dropped out there. Thankfully, during the Nintendo Direct and a few other things, 10:10 Games has made sure we all get to see this new gameplay well before the September 13th release date for the game. All so we can get better used to seeing more of the Funko figures running around on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC while not just cluttering up our walls and shelves out there. Squirrel The release date for Squirrel With A Gun is now set with us all taking aim with our Squirrel friend by the end of this Summer The wait continues but there is an end in sight for those looking to experience what Squirrel With A Gun has to offer. At least, on the PC side of things with the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S gamers need to wait just a bit longer for it all. That is what Dee Dee Creations and Maximum Entertainment have to share with us today, as Squirrel With A Gun will be releasing on the PC August 29th. A Quiet Place A new game based on A Quiet Place is on the way with the full announcement we have for A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead It felt like it was only a matter of time until we had a video game set in the universe of A Quiet Place and that time is now. A title that will be missing the release of the new film, but thankfully only shares the universe and does not seem to be one of those dreaded adaptation games.
