Soon We Will Pay For Our Crimes In Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of September 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Sinner The release date for Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption is now set and we will soon be playing Sinner on our consoles with PCs soon to follow Talk about a title, Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption, which slightly fell off the radar but is coming back strong. It has been some time since we last heard anything about the game and the release date for it was still vaguely "before the end of the year" from Another Indie. That would be the studio working on Sinner and not just a phrase thrown out there for those who may have completely fallen off with it all. Thankfully, we are back with some new information and it looks like we will be spinning the game up on our PS4, Xbox One, or Switch on October 18th. Read More...

Explore More Of The Biomes & World Of Solis In Just Cause 4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of September 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Just Cause New footage of Just Cause 4 is here to take us through the fictional world of Just Cause 4 and give a better understanding of how we will use and abuse it It feels odd to say that it looks like things in Just Cause 4 are going to be getting crazier as that is more or less what the game and franchise is all about. That said, it looks like things are going to get crazier as we have a good look at just how the world and environments that Avalanche Studios have constructed will play into all of that. I am not only talking about the crazy weather, but also just the landscapes in Just Cause 4. Read More...

The Kingdoms Of Amalur IP Has Finally Been Purchased & Secured
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of September 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
The IP for Kingdoms Of Amalur has been acquired and finalized with many speculating on what could come next for the Kingdoms Of Amalur universe It is hard to think that it has been six and a half years since Kingdoms Of Amalur came at us and since then we have seen not only the game come and go, but also the developer and studio. We have also see the IP go through some legal battles and a myriad of other things as we had for THQ before it came back as THQ Nordic. It has been one crazy rollercoaster for both of these things and they have been on their own different paths…until now. Read More...

Be Prepared To Chase Some Storms In Just Cause 4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of August 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Just Cause New gameplay for Just Cause 4 is here to show us more on how the new Apex Engine will control those tornados we have seen in Just Cause 4 already We have seen some of the tornados moving around in Just Cause 4 so far and now we get to see more of just how Avalanche Studios has implemented in the game. At least the general public now as this was something highlighted a while back when Square Enix was showing the game off at E3, but we will move past that for now. We get more gameplay and to see how the gusting winds of Just Cause 4 can cause a problem or be your greatest weapon in the game. Read More...

Things Are Getting Darker In Overkill’s The Walking Dead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of August 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead It looks like Overkill’s The Walking Dead is heading to Gamescom and with that means we are getting a look at a new area in their take on The Walking Dead We will soon be treated with more for Overkill’s The Walking Dead as it looks like the developer is heading out to Gamescom here in the coming weeks and unsurprisingly bringing its gameplay with it. Not too shocking given that Overkill just showed the first bit off at E3 here and it was met with a whole lot of positive responses in general. Hells, we even loved the hells out of this take on The Walking Dead and are glad to see more gamers are going to get to check it out before launch. Read More...

Silence Will Ring The Loudest In The Quiet Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of August 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
The Quiet Man New details for The Quiet Man are here as well as a look at how The Quiet Man will blend live-action and CG in this action game We finally have some solid details on The Quiet Man after the title was announced during E3 in a very strange way. All it seemed like we had was a live-action trailer with a little bit of gameplay mixed in. As it turns out, that was actually all "gameplay" from Human Head Studios as they are aiming to bring us a mix of live-action film mixed with third-person action gameplay to seamlessly tell us a nice little narrative. Little in terms of The Quiet Man spanning only one in-game night and only taking us about three hours to complete from start to end. Read More...

A New 3D Adventure Games Is Coming By The Way Of Scarf
by Duke Searles [ Tuesday, 14th of August 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Scarf A new announcement for a game called Scarf is here and it will let us explore a new world using the polymorphic powers of a Scarf among other things Add one more 3D Adventure game to the list to keep an eye on as now we have Scarf to look forward to so we can keep scratching that itch. It always seems to come back in the mix of all of the other larger-scale titles releasing and it looks like Uprising Studios, with the help of THQ Nordic, will be giving us a nice break this Winter or early in 2019 on the PC. That seems like the perfect time for a game called Scarf to release in my book. Seeing how it also looks to handle here, it could be another great break to distract us and get us back into the exploring aspect of video games. Read More...

Go On An Assault In Eden With The Latest For RAGE 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of August 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
RAGE New gameplay for RAGE 2 is here fresh from QuakeCon and it gives us more of how we will fight in RAGE 2 as well as a mission we will undertake QuakeCon is here so that means that Bethesda will be out there showing off more of their titles to come like RAGE 2 here. It makes sense as it is their big con for the year, so let us not look any gift horses in the mouth and such and enjoy that we now have more from Avalanche Studios to look at. A whole lot more at that. In fact, we have almost eight more minutes of RAGE 2 to take in here as we wait for the 2019 release window to close a little more and we can take the game in on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC. Guacamelee The release date for Guacamelee 2 has now been set and fans of the Guacamelee titles will be able to play the game this coming August It has been a long time coming, but now we have the release date for Guacamelee 2 set down and surprisingly not too far off from now. If you thought that Drinkbox Studios was going to make us all wait a crazy long time for the game, then you are wrong as it looks like it will be hitting the PS4 and PC on August 21st now. That is not too far. Sadly, it looks like there is not a solid date for any of those Xbox One gamers out there who wanted to get their Guacamelee 2 play on. Read More...

Words May Not Dictate Life Within The Quiet Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of July 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
The Quiet Man A minor update to The Quiet Man may provide a bit more to the core of the game and just what we may be experiencing in The Quiet Man If you caught the live stream that Square Enix had during E3 then you most likely caught the small teaser for the upcoming game called The Quiet Man. By small, I am mean that it showed very little in terms of actual gameplay and focused a bit more on the live action video that was there to tease it all. It was strange, but The Quiet Man caught the eyes of many even though it all looks to be a brawler, based on the video at least, and that the protagonist may be deaf and/or mute. Read More...

ToeJam & Earl Will Be Back In The Groove This Fall
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
ToeJam & Earl After twenty-six year, ToeJam & Earl will finally be back and coming this Fall with their fourth title, ToeJam & Earl: Back In The Groove It has been quite some time since ToeJam & Earl: Back In The Groove was funded and had work started on it. It has been delayed and moved around a bit, but HumaNature Studios has been still working on it and aiming to get it to us as soon as possible. It was pushed back when Adult Swim was poised to publish it, but now it looks like they are out and the team is going to be self-publishing this ToeJam & Earl title all on their own. This also means that we have a more secure release window of Fall of this year now. Read More...

E3 2018 Impressions — Just Cause 4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of June 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Just Cause While at E3, I was able to see Just Cause 4 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Just Cause 4. One of the other many titles that could not be kept under wraps for E3 this year was Just Cause 4. Just before the main event kicked off, it was leaked out there that the game was coming but little of anything else. I am sure that Avalanche Studios was thankful for that as it allowed them to still cause a big splash during the show and get fans of the franchise all hyped up for the December 4th release date for the game on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It also made it easy for Square Enix to slide Just Cause 4 into all of its things out there as well as show a bit more to those of us who were able to go behind some closed doors out at E3. E3 Hands On — Overkill’s The Walking Dead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead While at E3, I was able to see Overkill’s The Walking Dead in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Overkill’s The Walking Dead. During all of the build-up to E3 we finally had a chance to see some of the gameplay we can expect for Overkill’s The Walking Dead. It was not much, but enough to give a feeling for where Starbreeze could be taking the game and I know I had many speculations on just where it would go. Speculation no more, though, as 505 Games brought me in to actually sit down and give this addition to the The Walking Dead universe that Overkill has been putting together. Read More...
