Mortal Kombat
Two more characters have been confirmed for Mortal Kombat 11 with one of them having a full showcase of their new look in Mortal Kombat 11
We finally had the first Kombat Kast after the massive Mortal Kombat 11 reveal of last month and just as promised we had a new character revealed and shown off quite a bit. If you saw the larger reveal event, you may have had a hint as to who was going to be revealed here as NetherRealm Studios has not been coy about it. That character being Kabal who has not been fully seen in a Mortal Kombat title since MK9. Now he will be back when the game launches on April 23rd for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Also back with a few differences than we have seen before.
You can see Kabal in action down below, but it is only a few of the options we will have when actually playing Mortal Kombat 11. There does look to be more of a focus on the hooked swords for the character as well as the speed, but more or less, we will have the options we know and love. Just with the limitations that the new design of Mortal Kombat 11 will have for us. That being that moves and abilities will be limited to slots that we may not be able to fill out with everything we enjoy. It will let you have a gassy Kabal or a speedy Kabal based on your playstyle so that will be nice. Have a look at Kabal in motion just below.
Mortal Kombat 11 — Kabal
Resurrected as a twisted, evil version of himself, Kabal now serves the Netherrealm and pledges to destroy all other realms.
Kabal was the only character fully revealed during the Kombat Kast, but there were mentions of another character getting her reveal for Mortal Kombat 11 on the same day. As it turns out, it was a reveal performed by those over at Xbox via an interview with Mr. Boon and now it looks like we can expect to see D’Vorah in the mix again. There was only a bit of art showing her off, much as we saw for Kano, but we now know she will also be in Mortal Kombat 11. I know I am curious to see how she will blend into the new gear system we will have in the game as she feels like she could be limited, but I am sure NetherRealm Studios has it under control.
Mortal Kombat 11 — D’Vorah
Ed Boon reveals the return of D’Vorah to Mortal Kombat.
What do you think of Kabal here in Mortal Kombat 11 and do the changes feel right for you? Do you like knowing that we will also see a point in his history where he was not burned? How do you think D’Vorah will handle in the game and how many insect options will we get in the game? Give us all of those thoughts and more down in the comments and then discuss. As we get more for Mortal Kombat 11, we will update you here. All you need to do is keep swinging back in here to see it all.
