Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games That was another great and solid week in video games now wasn't it? We had a whole lot of great and not so great updates for many of the titles we are looking forward to. Yes we did have to see Outlast 2 get delayed and that we will have to pay for the extras on Final Fantasy XV but on the plus side we were able to see amazing things for Hellblade and No Man's Sky. Inside It looks like Inside can no longer be thought of as a platform exclusive as Inside is now slated to release for the PS4 this month If you were like me way back when Inside was originally announced, you may have thought that we would only be seeing the title hit the Xbox One and Windows through the usual means. Since it came out said platforms it has won Playdead many awards and made me even question why it was limited to just one platform. Well that is no more as it has been confirmed that Inside will be coming to the PS4 on August 23rd now so we can all experience what the team has worked on since Limbo did so well too. Read More...

Deus Ex A new look at all of the cities for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided have come out as well as just how to pronounce Deus Ex correctly We are a mere few weeks out from the launch of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and the news and updates still keep flowing out here. Granted one of the updates we have here are some great views of the game's world and the other is a fun video put together but Eidos-Montréal more than anything. It would seem about right that we are hitting this stride for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided given August 23rd not being too far away but none the less we have more to look at to get us all prepped for the game. I don't think Square Enix can over-hype this one enough given how amazing the first title was in the "reboot" series. Read More...

Things just always seem to get so crazy during this part of the month but it does give us a whole lot to discuss and bring you so we won't complain too much here. Darksiders The rumored remaster of Darksiders has now become a reality as the Darksiders Warmastered Edition is heading to current gen systems this October If you were like me and questioning why we had the second Darksiders game remastered and no word on the first title, then you'll be glad to see that we now have the answer. It looks like Nordic Games was having that one remastered as well by KAIKO and now we are on the verge of getting it. I am glad to say that we now have the Darksiders Warmastered Edition announced and coming to our PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, or PC on October 25th of this year. Read More...

The Walking Dead A few new tidbits for The Walking Dead season three from Telltale have come out of SDCC as well as some new screenshots for The Walking Dead's third season It was stated that we would get some more on the third season of Telltale Games' The Walking Dead during San Diego Comic Con and fans were not let down. At least not let down outside of the fact that we were still left with a whole lot to wonder on as we head toward the new season's release and just what has gone on in the game's world since then. Minecraft We sit down and review Minecraft: Story Mode — A Portal To Mystery. This is the sixth episode of Telltale's take on Mojang's famed franchise. Here's our review on how they did The story continues for Minecraft: Story Mode as we have the first episode in the expanded adventure and the sixth episode in the epic tale of Jesse and his crew as they do what is apparently done in Mojang's world. If you are somehow still behind the times though this also expands on the story that Telltale Games has been building up for us over pretty much a year now. I'm still confused as to why they didn't go a solid second season and just have all of this is part of it but they didn't Now let us dig into this new episode of Minecraft: Story Mode before we get bogged down with even more of their great stories and such. Tomb Raider The official announcement of Rise Of The Tomb Raider on the PS4 has been made and it looks like Rise Of The Tomb Raider is getting new content and PSVR support The rumors that Rise Of The Tomb Raider was coming to the PS4 look to have been validated as Square Enix has given the official word on a new 20 Year Celebration edition of the game coming not only to the PS4 but also the Xbox One and PC. All on October 11th just as the rumors stated. The only thing that the rumors didn't state about Rise Of The Tomb Raider was the fact that Crystal Dynamics is also bringing us a new Endurance mode, a new story chapter, and VR support for the PS4 version of the game. Minecraft The release date for Minecraft: Story Mode's seventh episode has been set and it looks like the world of Minecraft is getting the Tron and Borg treatment The seventh episode of Minecraft: Story Mode, or second in the adventure pass, has a release date set and it looks like it will be July 26th here. On this date we will get to see how much further down the rabbit hole Telltale Games is going to take us into their take on the famed Mojang IP that has a few hits and misses in my eyes. Friday The 13th A new update to Friday The 13th: The Game's digital cabin has been made and we get more to see for Friday The 13th's big bad Jason in the game It hasn't been that long since the Friday The 13th: The Game digital cabin came online and fans who backed or are still banking the game had a chance to check out the "safe area" in the game where we can check out all of our collected gear and items. Illfonic and Gun Media put this together early but it will be in the final game so you can see everything you want out side of a match. Sadly, when it first launched it was just an icon cabin from the Friday The 13th series and game with little more than a few developer diaries and music to check out from the game. Read More...

Tomb Raider It looks like the wait for Rise Of The Tomb Raider to hit the PS4 may be over and out during Tomb Raider's 20th anniversary year It looks like the rumors and speculation of the day continue as now we may have a date for Rise Of The Tomb Raider to hit the PS4. Already Crystal Dynamics' latest addition into the title has hit the Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC and it was stated as a timed exclusive before by Square Enix. All of that said and the fact that we are in the 20th anniversary of the Tomb Raider it looks like it should be time to see the game make the final leap and if rumors are true the leap will be made on October 11th of this year. We were able to see Evolve go free-to-play, how South Park is taking comedy serious here, and also a whole bunch of new Battlefield 1 gameplay to tide us over for a bit. Resident Evil 4 The release date for Resident Evil 4 on the current gen systems has been announced and we'll see Resident Evil 4 this August again While it isn't new news that Resident Evil 4 is heading the PS4 and Xbox One directly, that was announced a while back, but now we have a solid release date for when we will get to play the game on the systems. It looks like Capcom has set the date and we will be reliving one of the best additions into the franchise on August 30th now. Hopefully you've been able to play catch up in reverse with all of the other titles announced with Resident Evil 4 and Umbrella Corps or most likely waiting until August now to play it all in order. While Illfonic has been giving us small little breakdowns of how some mechanics play out it looks like the guys from Gun Media have given us all a bit more on how the counselors in the game will handle and play out.
