Get Ready To Hide And Shriek With This New Horror Multiplayer Title
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Hide And Shriek A new horror multiplayer title, Hide And Shriek, has been announced and Hide And Shriek has you dealing out all of the horror and not the developers If you were wondering where all of the good horror games where this month then let me introduce you to Hide And Shriek. This is a new multiplayer horror title in the works just for Halloween from Funcom. You know, the ones who brought us The Park last year and now want to keep the horror flowing with Hide And Shriek this year on the PC; even though the two titles are not linked in any other way outside of the developers and platform. If nothing though it is a new horror title to get added into the month of fear where things do seem to be a bit lacking this year in general. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of September 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games One more week in the world of video games is in the bag yet again. Oddly this week started out a bit slow on the news side of things and then it seemed like everything exploded onto the scene shortly after. We had plenty of Mafia 3 to cover yet again and other, smaller video games like Sundered and Here They Lie get mixed into it all. Not to mention a review for the latest episode of Batman from Telltale. Read More...

Review — Minecraft: Story Mode — A Journey's End?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of September 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Minecraft We sit down and review Minecraft: Story Mode — A Journey's End?. This is the final episode of Telltale's take on Mojang's famed Minecraft franchise. Here's our review on how they did He we go with the final leg of Minecraft: Story Mode as the eight episode of the IP has been released and we can see how this story is finally going to end. It has been one trek for us with Telltale Games and Mojang's franchise as we were given a story to a game that generally doesn't have one set up. Even with all of the Minecraft celebrities and all that there hasn't been one concise story until now. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/19/16 — 9/23/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of September 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games Thus concludes our week of video games. Another solid week and not so many bad bits of news and delays. Of course that doesn't mean it was all happy and bouncy but in the world of video games that never seems the case. Thankfully we had some solid things like a new Jason and Counselor for Friday The 13th, the next episode of King's Quest finally coming, and all of the death dealing coming to Dishonored 2. A lot of videos and a lot of fun for the week and just the way it needs to be as we press on into the review season here. Read More...

Resident Evil: Vendetta Gets Its First Trailer For Us To Gaze Upon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of September 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Resident Evil The new CG movie, Resident Evil: Vendetta, has a new trailer and it looks like it could be a great addition to the Resident Evil lore in general There were murmurs of a new film coming to the franchise and it looks like Resident Evil: Vendetta is it and now we have a trailer to look at for the film. Okay, to be honest it really wasn't murmurs but there was word out of Capcom that we should expect to see another CG film in the franchise. Now we have the first look at Resident Evil: Vendetta and then the hopes that it will be coming anywhere outside of Japan sometime in 2017 as it is still only listed for that region and with a Spring 2017 release date for theaters over there. Mafia 3: Rivals Is Aiming To Take Over Our Mobile Devices Just Like The Streets
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of September 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Mafia 3 A new mobile game, Mafia 3: Rivals, has been announced and it looks to bring a little bit of Mafia 3 to our phones and tablets Good news for all of you mobile gamers out there who are apparently not gaming on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC as Mafia 3: Rivals has just been announced and coming to the iOS and Android systems. No, 2K Games isn't porting over the full other game but it looks like Cat Daddy Games has crafted a mobile tie-in game to keep us going when on the move. I also think that stating this is a tie-in to Mafia 3 might be a little overzealous on my end too as it could be something a bit different. Read More...

Friday The 13th New updates for Friday The 13th: The Game are out there and it looks like more classic Friday The 13th is coming to the game now It looks like the good news for Friday The 13th: The Game just keeps rolling out as it looks like we have a new option for Jason and a new counselor being added into the mix now. This time Illfonic has crafted as perfect of a rendition of Jason from the 6th film in the franchise as they could based on everything that Gun Media could get together to replicate it all. Not only that but it also looks like we have yet another counselor added in for the full roster of Friday The 13th. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/12/16 — 9/16/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of September 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games This has been one rough week in video games now hasn't it? We haven't even been able to get through all the madness of TGS yet and already we've been all over the map. We had a lot of fun teases for Resident Evil 7 that turned into a lot of awesome things. Then we had delays for both The Last Guardian and South Park: The Fractured But Whole. At least we were able to get some reviews out for Hitman and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided for you to try and soften all those blows while the better news in video games came about. Read More...

Here Is Resident Evil 7's True Welcoming To The Family
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of September 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 The Resident Evil 7 tease for the family is over with a new trailer as well as the Resident Evil 7 demo getting an update So far all week we've had some great teases and early looks at stuff coming to Resident Evil 7. Be it the pre-order bonuses that we could be getting to Capcom teasing us with new looks at the crazed family we were introduced to in the demo of the game. Well it looks like they were truly holding out to give us all of those fun updates for Resident Evil 7 until TGS as we have a new information dump on our hands here as well as a proper introduction to the Baker family. Thankfully there was no word on the gaming being delayed and it is still set to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on January 24th. Read More...

Rise Of The Tomb Raider Gets More Woman Vs Wild For The New Release
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of September 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider Another episode of Rise Of The Tomb Raider's Woman Vs Wild has been released and shows us how the new Rise Of The Tomb Raider DLC could play out It's been some time since we last saw Rise Of The Tomb Raider's Woman Vs Wild video series out there. I don't think we've seen a new one since Crystal Dynamics released the game on the Xbox One and Xbox 360. Now that Square Enix is bringing Rise Of The Tomb Raider to the PS4 and the DLC to all of the platforms, including PC, here on October 11th I guess it is about time to give us yet another episode of their "behind the scenes" style video. It makes perfect sense and now we have it right here for all of our viewing pleasures. Read More...

Resident Evil 7 Asks You To Join The Family For Dinner
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of September 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 Two more screenshots for Resident Evil 7 have been released and it looks like we get a good look at Resident Evil 7's main enemies so far Since the first announcement for Resident Evil 7 was made we've had a few good looks at what looks to be the main bad guys of the game. Well at least two of the three that we've heard or read about from Capcom or the demo directly and the videos out of Gamescom. Well as TGS is coming up and they are ready to show off more for Resident Evil 7 out there but just before all of that we have a nice little sneak peek to entice us all. At least in terms of seeing the family in their natural habitat. Read More...

Review — Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of September 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Deus Ex We sit down and review Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. The franchise has had time to be "augmented" since the last addition. Here's our review of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided It's been five years since the last title came out and now we get to continue the whole story in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Of course it's not completely the same old story or Adam we've seen before or there would be no reason for us to pick up Eidos-Montreal's new title and Square Enix would be out a whole lot of money; so there is a lot to look at and enjoy. Thankfully, we had a chance to give Deus Ex: Mankind Divided a solid play and now we are here to give you our thoughts on it all. Here's our review of the next big addition to the franchise. Here's A Little Bit On How We'll Survive Resident Evil 7
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of September 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 New images show Resident Evil 7's pre-order bonuses a bit and it looks like they will make Resident Evil 7 just a bit easier to survive If you weren't sure if you were going to pre-order Resident Evil 7 just yet as you were waiting to find out what the bonuses could be then you might be in luck here. A while back there was news from Capcom that we'd be getting a few extra "episodes" for the game and some Survivor Packs to help us through the game as well as beat the hardest difficulty of the game from the very start of it all. Of course as that was still back when Resident Evil 7 had just become a thing, they were very loose on what the items in the Survivor's Pack could be. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/5/16 — 9/9/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of September 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games Just like that, we are now one week closer to a lot of new video games releasing and another week in our belt as it comes to news and updates. It certainly was an interesting week now wasn't it? We got to see some brutal murder with Friday The 13th, it looks like Batman: Return TO Arkham is actually releasing again, there were new details for The Walking Dead's news season, and the PlayStation 4 Pro was announced as the PS Neo. That last one wasn't that huge of a thing in my book as it goes to the world of video games but they all can't be winners now can they? Read More...
