Imagine What A Closer Look At Resident Evil 7 Will Show Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 31st of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 The next two Resident Evil 7 teasers are here and they show us just some of the puzzles Resident Evil 7 will have in store for us The next two video clips for Resident Evil 7 are here and they are just as cryptic as the puzzles they are showing off. Well at least one of them is as it shows off what looks to be a puzzle Capcom has for us in the game to solve and the other more or less just shows us that things can be hidden almost anywhere in the game. They may not be the most intense videos for Resident Evil 7 to date but they do highlight one of the franchise's core mechanics to get around the game's world or to find some amazing items to help you live just a bit longer. Something we'll all be hoping for when we actual play the game for sure. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of October 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site What a week in video games we just had huh? So many amazing announcements and updates we had that I am still trying to recover before the Halloween parties get into full swing. It's going to be hard with all the Final Fantasy XV and Resident Evil 7 announcements and videos we had. That is only the tip of it all as Watch Dogs 2 had quite a bit and that isn't even digging into the Dishonored 2 stuff that we had this week. Read More...

In Resident Evil 7 Green Herb Will Make You Immortal But Not Like The Enemies
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 Two more short videos for Resident Evil 7 have released and this time we see how Resident Evil 7 is using the herb and shooting guns The next two video clips for Resident Evil 7 have been released. This time we get to see just how those green herbs in the game work and also, for the first time, Capcom shows us just how we will be using those weapons and ammo that we've stockpiled so far. Something I was thinking we wouldn't get to see until January 24th when Resident Evil 7 finally hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Granted it wasn't a strong thought but it was something I saw could have happened here. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Hide And Shriek The first gameplay for Hide And Shriek has been released and now we can see just how Hide And Shriek matches will play out later this October Earlier in the month we saw a new horror game announced called Hide And Shriek. It's a new one on one multiplayer title coming from Funcom and that was more or less about the extent of what we knew. Well outside of the goal of Hide And Shriek being to scare each other until there is a defined winner and a defined user. Well now we know a bit more and it is just in time as the game launches on Steam for PC on October 25th and we do need to see how the game plays before making our final judgement. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of October 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site And thus completes our week in video games. Well more the week in news and updates about games but I'm sure you get the point by now. We've been all over the place here again as we had some amazing updates for Friday The 13th and Battlefield 1. We also were able to see how fast both Hitman and King's Quest could be on getting out their next and final episodes and that is not to exclude the fact that Batman is getting another so quick as well. All kinds of great updates for our video games even if some of them seemed to be a bit basic in the end. Read More...

Will You Answer The Call Resident Evil 7 Is Making Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 Two new videos for Resident Evil 7 have been released and both show off some new things coming to Resident Evil 7 while not too much It looks like two new teaser videos for Resident Evil 7 have released and both of them look straight forward until you start to dig into things and see what could be teased here. It seems that this is going to keep being the way for Capcom as they promote the game but that just means that the ride until January 24th is going to be a fun one; right? Sure why not and if not we can just keep distracting ourselves with these new little teasers for Resident Evil 7 until then. Read More...

Friday The 13th: The Game Is Getting Single Player, But There's A Catch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th The much requested single player feature for Friday The 13th: The Game has been confirmed but that means that we won't be seeing Friday The 13th launch this year It looks like we have yet another good news/bad news scenario here and this one crops up for Friday The 13th: The Game. It has been one title I have had close to my heart since Gun Media and Illfonic first announced it and kept bringing us more and more for it during the days of Kickstarter. That's why I'm going to start with the bad news here first for Friday The 13th so we can get to the positive side of all of this. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/3/16 — 10/7/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of October 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games Thus concludes yet another fun week in video games. It was all over the place from the look of things but we were there every step of the way to make sure that we were able to cover everything. Or at least as much as we could get to during the week. It was sad to see that Styx was hit with a delay but getting to try out Outlast 2 for the next month made up for it all. Read More...

Styx: Shards Of Darkness Has Been Delayed But We Have New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Styx Delays have hit Styx: Shards Of Darkness until next year but with it comes a new look at Styx and some of the upgrades that will be coming with this game It looks like my worries were true as it looks like Styx: Shards Of Darkness has been delayed until Q1 of 2017. I thought this might happen as we got closer to the original timeline that Cyanide Studios wanted to hit but as we had not heard much on the development of the game before now it was looking like a delay was inevitable. Not to tragic of news for a lot of gamers I know as Styx has been more of an underground kind of game already, pun intended, but as the team has been upgrading to the Unreal 4 engine for this game they and Focus Home Interactive though the delay was needed and I am going to side on this for sure. Now that the downer news is over here, let's move onto a bit of the new stuff for Styx: Shards Of Darkness. Read More...

Get Ready To Hide And Shriek With This New Horror Multiplayer Title
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Hide And Shriek A new horror multiplayer title, Hide And Shriek, has been announced and Hide And Shriek has you dealing out all of the horror and not the developers If you were wondering where all of the good horror games where this month then let me introduce you to Hide And Shriek. This is a new multiplayer horror title in the works just for Halloween from Funcom. You know, the ones who brought us The Park last year and now want to keep the horror flowing with Hide And Shriek this year on the PC; even though the two titles are not linked in any other way outside of the developers and platform. If nothing though it is a new horror title to get added into the month of fear where things do seem to be a bit lacking this year in general. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/26/16 — 9/30/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of September 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games One more week in the world of video games is in the bag yet again. Oddly this week started out a bit slow on the news side of things and then it seemed like everything exploded onto the scene shortly after. We had plenty of Mafia 3 to cover yet again and other, smaller video games like Sundered and Here They Lie get mixed into it all. Not to mention a review for the latest episode of Batman from Telltale. Read More...
