by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 24th of December 2016 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site It sure has been one cray week here for all of our video games; not like this isn't almost always the case. Generally this is when it all slows down and everyone is grasping for something to bring you. Hells, I've seen short tweets make headline news around the web during this time and we've tried to not dig into all of that. Instead we just dug in and were still able to find some great updates for Resident Evil and Watch Dogs 2 for you. Read More...

Data-Mining May Have Revealed Resident Evil 7 DLC & The Final Boss
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 Some new, possible, details for Resident Evil 7 may have emerged out of the most recent Resident Evil 7 demo to hit the PC Some new details for Resident Evil 7 may have just been found hidden the most recent PC demo that released earlier this week and some of it all points to some solid story tidbits, possible DLC, and who we might see as a final boss in the game. Of course none of this is confirmed by Capcom as it still falls into that whole rumor category but if it is true it could mean that we will see how it fits into the overall Resident Evil world. That and Resident Evil 7 would be getting a card game and a whole chapter of the game based around just puzzles and horror instead of all of the other stuff that we will see get mixed in. Review — Darksiders Warmastered Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Darksiders We sit down and review Darksiders Warmastered Edition. The original game has been remastered for a new generation and platforms. Here's our review of Darksiders Warmastered Edition Last year we were able to see Darksiders 2 get the remaster that it deserved and now here we are with Darksiders Warmastered Edition to remaster the title that started it all. Not only that but THQ Nordic is the one bringing it back to us after KAIKO did all the remastering work. Not a bad combination and it also allows us and new gamers to experience Darksiders on a few more platforms that it had never been on to date. Read More...

The Madness Of Call Of Cthulhu Is Starting To Sink In…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu New screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu have been released and they show a few more areas in the game as well as some Call Of Cthulhu locals who we will have to handle It looks like the Elder Gods are happy with where we have the world now as we have been graced with a few more screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu. That would be the video game version of the franchise for those who stumbled in here looking for the many other forms of it all that Cyanide Studios is using to craft the game. There really are quite a few out there and this version of Call Of Cthulhu looks to give us a taste of madness in the digital form as we try to figure out what is going on within the island of Darkwater. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Styx Another gameplay trailer for Styx: Shards Of Darkness has been released and this one shows off a few more of the tricks Styx has picked up since the last game I know I can never seem to get enough Styx: Shards Of Darkness and it looks like we have even more to sate some of our needs until March of next year when we can play the full game. I just love this little guy that Cyanide Studios has created for us and he only seems to get better with each new video and showcasing we get to see. Especially when we get to see a lot of the new tricks of the trade that Styx is bringing with the next title. Read More...

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier Will Be Giving Us Many Ways To Start Off
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead Details on how The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will carry over all the saved data from the previous The Walking Dead titles has been detailed out a bit more It feels like it was waiting until the last minute, but as it looks we have a clue as to how The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will be keeping our saved data from the last two seasons to bring it all over when we spin up the new episodes on December 20th. This has been something that I know I was curious on how Telltale Games was going to do it and now we have an answer of sorts. It looks like we will have three options as detailed and they will give us a large variable on where we will start the game off with Clementine and A. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/5/16 — 12/9/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 10th of December 2016 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site This was sure one insane week in videos game. There was a lot of recovery going on from PSX and still The Game Awards from last week as well as a lot of other new news and updates to cover. I'm still reeling from The Last Of Us Part II actually getting confirmed personally. Not to discount all of the new gameplay footage for Resident Evil 7 and another look at South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Read More...

Friday The 13th: The Game Adds Another Horror Icon Into The Fight
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th Another classic character from Friday The 13th lore has made their way into Friday The 13th: The Game and maybe in a way to permanently take down Jason It is always a good day when we get a new update for Friday The 13th: The Game and that makes today awesome. While Gun Media has been pretty forthcoming with some new looks at the game recently, none of the images shown have been note-worthy enough to garner a full posting here. I'm not downplaying the work that Illfonic is doing over there but who needs a full page of reading for an image or two or a short trailer for the game? Some of you do but that isn't why we are here. DOOM Gets Another Free Update & Brings In New Multiplayer Modes
by Jana Lass [ Friday, 9th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
DOOM The fifth free update for DOOM is here and it brings in some new modes to DOOM's multiplayer among many other updates for the game now Hopefully you weren't thinking of putting DOOM for a bit to give some of these other great games a chance. If you were then you are going to be a bit sore with id Software as they have just released yet another Free Update for the game and it brings a whole new multiplayer mode and the ability to reach the rank of Echelon 11 in the game. It's almost like they don't care about the other titles that Bethesda has brought us and want us all to stay focused on DOOM for as long as they want. Not that this is a bad thing, but there are only so many hours in the day and some of them need to be dedicated to keeping one's being up and in the land of the living. Read More...

The Latest Resident Evil 7 Gameplay Is Truly Disturbing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 The Resident Evil 7 gameplay that we had before has been released without overlaid commentary & it makes Resident Evil 7 look truly terrifying Last week, if you recall, we were able to see a lot of other media outlets talk about Resident Evil 7 in terms of a huge demo they were able to play. Something like four to five hours they were able to play and then they all had their little videos describing it all over some great looking b-roll that Capcom provided them. It looked nice but we were all forced to hear about Resident Evil 7 through their point of view when we had some solid gameplay to look at in the background. Read More...
