Mafia The next Mafia title is on the way to us with the full announcement we have for Mafia: The Old Country out of Gamescom Just as the rumors were speculating, we have the announcement for Mafia: The Old Country fresh out of Gamescom to keep the IP flowing on out there. It is another fun entry from Hangar 13 along with 2K again, but this one will not be pushing us all forward in time. Marvel Rivals The release date for Marvel Rivals is set down with a few more characters joining the roster for Marvel Rivals Fresh off the heels of the closed beta and right at the opening of Gamescom this year, Marvel Rivals now has a full release date for us to look forward to. A date that is not as far off as many would have thought with how much more NetEase Games was looking to put into the game. A release date that will allow all who want to play this free-to-play game on December 6th with their PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Borderlands Another Borderlands is on the way with Borderlands 4 getting a full announcement during Gamescom this year While it seems like it was held well under wraps before now, we have the full announcement that Borderlands 4 is on the way and coming in 2025. The writing was kind of on the wall with some of the other versions of the IP that Gearbox has been pushing out there but they took to Gamescom with 2K to show it all off. Something I am sure they were hoping would have made a bigger splash with the recent release of the Borderlands film, hence another of the clues that hinted that this was going to be an announcement. That being Gamescom is in the works and one would think that studios and publishers would have held back. Occultist Take on a new supernatural world with The Occultist as we get to see just what this occultist might be able to do out there Well, it looks like the horror of the world will still carry on into 2025, not a huge surprise, but at least we will have The Occultist to help with all of that. No, I am not talking about the specific Hellscape that we find ourselves in right now, but the world that DALOAR and Daedalic Entertainment are building for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for 2025. Even if it would be a nice change of pace to see this kind of survival horror out there in the world instead of the one we have now. Tarsier Studios Tarsier Studios is working on another title out there for us and it looks like it could be linked to other Tarsier Studios’ productions It has been a few years since we heard anything out of Tarsier Studios and any new projects they may be working on, and we are going to need to wait a little longer. Unless you take the very small teaser that something is coming that was shared during the THQ Nordic showcase as something big for now. Lies Of P Take in some of the weapons of Lies Of P as well as the Legion Arm we will use in Lies Of P We have had demos and we have had many little looks at Lies Of P and the weapons we will have in the game before now. Why not have one more look at all of them, right? That is the thought behind the latest we have here from Round8 Studio for the game as September 19th creeps up on us and gets us ready for the full drop on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Jusant There is some new gameplay for Jusant out there along with the release date announcement for Jusant in October It was not that long ago that we had a little more for Jusant out there to get us all ready to climb again. Now, just out of Gamescom 2023, we have just a bit more for the game from DON’T NOD as we gear up to see how it will all flow on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC when it launches. Mortal Kombat We are about to head into Mortal Kombat with the opening cinematic we are going to get in Mortal Kombat 1 While we had some fun looks at Mortal Kombat 1 during Gamescom 2023 and had a few more characters confirmed for the game, we had one more big thing flow out there before the September 19th release date for the game. A nice little bit that could potentially hype us all up for what NetherRealm Studios is working on or spoil some of the game for us. Tekken The release date for Tekken 8 is now set with a lot more shown off to us all for Tekken 8 too It slipped out there during Gamescom 2023, but we finally have the release date for Tekken 8 out there and more than just having a 2024 timeline. It falls about when we were expecting for it all, but Bandai Namco has finally confirmed that we will be seeing the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this coming January 26th, 2024. Yes, it will be early in 2024 and we will have so much to do in Tekken 8 too. Cyberpunk The next big update for Cyberpunk 2077 will bring us closer to the original vision with the release of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty In just under a month now, the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC will be dropping out there to bring us all back for one more run through Night City and with a whole new story to take in. There is a massive story that it feels like CD Projekt RED is finally getting to tell in this new DLC, but it also looks as if they might be getting closer to the version of Cyberpunk they wanted to release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
