by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of December 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
SOMA The release for SOMA is here for the Xbox One and with it comes a new mode for SOMA called Safe Mode For some of you out there, the wait is finally over and you can play SOMA now as it is here for the Xbox One now. Only a bit of time after it hit the PS4 and PC, but sometimes that is how games go and thankfully Frictional Games did not want to leave anyone out there in the cold. Sure, you could have given SOMA a try on any of the other platforms out there, but now it is here to cover all of the spread san the Nintendo side of things. Maybe that will come but most likely not. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of November 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead Have a look at how The Walking Dead is getting some improved graphics for the upcoming The Walking Dead Collection next week It has not been a huge secret that the PS4 and Xbox One were going to be getting The Walking Dead Collection here soon. Seeing as December 5th is right around the corner and that is the day that Telltale Games is going to push it out there, I guess it is high time that we talk about it all. For those who may have missed out on it all, this is the nice big bundle that houses all 19 episodes of The Walking Dead that the studio has put out there. It is crazy to think that we have had that many forays into that universe so far and we still have one more to go sometime in 2018. Read More...

Life Is Strange: Before The Storm Is Giving A Full Farewell Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of November 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange It looks like the original actors will be back for Life Is Strange: Before The Storm's Farewell bonus episode & you can see how the Life Is Strange alums recorded their lines If you picked up the Deluxe Edition of Life Is Strange: Before The Storm then you most likely know you are getting a nice little bonus episode after the third one finally drops. Although this Farewell episode is now slated for some time in 2018 according to Deck Nine Games, so it is not something to get all hyped up for as of yet. That and seeing as we are still waiting for that third episode still, it is a little bit too soon for that as well. Read More...

Review — Call Of Duty: WWII
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of November 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty We sit down and review Call Of Duty: WWII. We are heading back to the Second World War again. Here's our review of Call Of Duty: WWII The next installment to the Call Of Duty franchise has dropped and looks to take us all back to the roots of the game. Sledgehammer Games and a few of the other developers in Activision's wheelhouse have opted to take us all the way back to World War II and give us all even more Nazis to kill in our video games. Not in an over-the-top satirical kind of way, but in a grounded more realistic kind of way. At least on that mirrors more of how things truly went down in real history. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 25th of November 2017 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Thus concludes yet another week in video games here. A bit of an off week, but still a pretty solid one if you were not mixed up in all of the US Thanksgiving stuff or the horrible holiday to consumerism. Although there was a lot to be had in terms of video games for all of that and with Shadow Of War and Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite already out there, you could have seen more reasons to pick them up for a lower price. Or just to finally sit back and give Hellblade or Street Fighter V some more time in between dinner plates. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with another great week of video games in the bag and so much more to go on with. Batman: The Enemy Within Is Fracturing The Mask Next Week
by Julia Schoebel [ Friday, 17th of November 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Batman The release date for the third episode of Batman: The Enemy Within has been set and we will be back with Batman next week If you have been pining for the next episode of Batman: The Enemy Within to finally drop, then the wait is almost over as it is coming next week on November 21st for all of its platforms new and old. Just about when it should have been expected based on the norms that Telltale Games has for us with these titles and this one looks like it is going to be just as insane as they have been in the past. Of course, that is if you have been playing them from episode to episode and not waiting for the entire season of Batman: The Enemy Within to be playable in one shot. Read More...

Take To The Sky With New Gameplay For The New Title
by Duke Searles [ Friday, 17th of November 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Sky We have some new gameplay for Sky to look at and see how Sky will be the same but different from the dev's other titles out there It has been a bit since we all first heard about ThatGameCompany's upcoming title Sky or at least saw any gameplay for the iOS title. A few months at this point, but now we are back to see some new footage for the game as well as have some of the developer's commentary on just what is going on in the game. We already knew that there would be a social aspect to it all as well as the ability to fly around the world, but here we get to see just how some of that plays into the larger side of Sky at the end of the day. It also looks like Light and Darkness will play into the core of it all as well which is something we have not seen until now. Read More...

Review — Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Wednesday, 15th of November 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn We sit down and review Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds. Can you make The Cut? Here's our review of Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds I was really equal parts excited and worried about Horizon Zero Dawn’s new DLC. Would it be an overpriced cash grab for Guerrilla Games to scrape a few more pennies from fans, or a story that needed to be told that didn't fit with the flow and progression of the main game? I try not to delve into the main plots of games too much, but if you’re buying the DLC I am going to assume you have played Horizon Zero Dawn. So if you just want to know if I recommend it or not I’ll save you sometimes and say yes. Read More...
