Deep Silver was at PAX East during the weekend to show off their recently purchased game Saints Row IV. Volition started the demo by explaining the games new story. Saints Row IV takes the leader of the Saints and makes him the president of the United States. But all is not well as the leader of the Saints have been captured by aliens and placed in a virtual version of Steel port. The new story direction allows Volition to make Saints Row even crazier. It had people welling up with tears over a fictional family that was on the island of Banoi when the outbreak happened. Recently there was a bit more revealed about the upcoming sequel, Dead Island: Riptide, including some screens. If you are like me you might be curious on the motivations of antagonists in films and games. I mean not ever villain is like the Joker who just does messed up stuff for the sake of doing it. There is usually a motivation behind their actions. Well it looks like next month we all will get the chance to see what Ryder White had planned besides just trying to save his wife and self. According to the announcement the DLC, aptly titled Ryder White, will add several hours of game play where you will actually play as White. Dead Island Shows How Team Work Is Golden During Zompocalypse

When choosing one's zombie team, you generally want to have a good group whom you know will watch your back and not hesitate to kill a zombie. There is no room for cry baby whiners who will end up killing you and the group down the line. It is just good tactics for survival. Dead Island Is Making Curb-Stomping A Good Thing

Most of these moves include a stomp to the head or some other way of putting the final nail in the coffin for the undead. Dead Island Really Showing How Paradise Can Go Wrong

So the original trailer for the game made a huge splash and so did the exclusive behind closed doors showcasing, but for the most part it has been CGI or mostly words showing/describing how Dead Island will handle. While this is still a little bit of the case, we can glean a little more from the below screen shots and new trailer for the game. Let's Take The Dead Island Challenge

Yesterday when the trailer for Dead Island hit the internet it caused a huge sensation. It is quite a brilliant trailer to behold. I did happen to notice two things about it though. The main thing is that it caused so many emotional responses, most in the form of crying or tearing up. I'm not talking just women either before you go there guys.
