Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week So, that was certainly a weird week for us around here with all of the video games out there. Mostly with a lot of internal things going down, which we will touch on, but we did have so many titles to help distract from all of that. Five Nights At Freddy’s A new trailer for Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 is out, and it is shaking things up for the Five Nights At Freddy’s movie It is time to get all of that lore theorizing going again, as we have a brand new trailer for the Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 movie. This is why I prefer to have weird subtitles for films, as it would make it easier to distinguish between the Blumhouse projects and the video games, but that is me nitpicking. Something that is starting to ramp up, as we all know, the Five Nights At Freddy’s fanbase will do that for the films and various games out there. Just in time to get the ball rolling with this film hitting theaters on December 5th, so we have a month to dive into what we have to see here and see if it will change any of the rules or lore that has been established in the IP up to now. Clown In A Cornfield We had a chance to experience a Clown In A Cornfield out at SDCC to further hype up Clown In A Cornfield from Shudder Talk about all of the experiences we had out at SDCC 2025, but one that hit the top of our lists to check out was what Shudder brought out for Clown In A Cornfield. A film that we have all had the chance to see before now, and is getting a hard push once more for the streaming aspect now that it has had its theatrical run. All through a fun little corn maze that added in some great haunted house elements, and ended with a little bit of an escape room feel at the end. Read More...

Liminal Exit Another puzzle game, Liminal Exit, is on the way to us, with Liminal Exit having us avoid bliss at all costs You have to love how many times we get to walk into a liminal space and need to escape, as we have another one on the way to us with Liminal Exit. Another in walking simulation titles out there that are using the concept to give us some fun puzzles to solve. At least when LittleRedDread is done putting the final touches on the PC title. Not only did we get to see new horrors like Finding Frankie and Amber Alert get some highlights, but we also were able to see something for Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 and the full announcement for the Nintendo Switch 2 in the mix of all of these video games out there. Even if it does look and sound like many are going to have to wait longer for that console to finally launch out there. Five Nights At Freddy’s The next film in the Five Nights At Freddy’s line is one the way and we have a new teaser to look at for the upcoming Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 In the wee hours of the night, for some, it looks as if the animatronics have crept out there and offered up a new teaser for the upcoming Five Nights At Freddy’s 2. This would be the film that Blumhouse is making based on the IP and not some new rehashing of the original video game with the same name. Help Wanted 2 The launch of Five Nights At Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 is finally here and those who needed to hold off for Help Wanted 2 can see the horrors that wait Just as this IP always seems to go, we had the announcement that Five Nights At Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 was going to head to the Switch last week, and now we are here looking at the launch of it all. No matter how you feel about Steel Wool Studios, you cannot deny that they get their titles out there quickly when they can. Gori A new reason to head back out with Gori is on the way here with new DLC coming for Gori: Cuddly Carnage We had a whole lot of fun playing through what Gori: Cuddly Carnage had to offer, as you could see in all of our gameplay videos, but it looks as if we are getting another treat here just for Halloween. Well, on October 31st but we are going to be able to keep it all after and Angry Demon Studio is not just going to take it away after. All of this is to say that we are getting some holiday-themed DLC for Gori to wear in the game as we head back into the various challenges that might have been left for us since the game's launch.
