Control A new story trailer for Control is here to give us more to look at for the game as well as a bit of a deeper feel for what Control’s story will hold We are now just under a month out from Control getting into our hands with August 27th fast approaching. I do hope that you have been keeping an eye on this one as it looks like it could be offering up more to the gaming industry than we have seen in a while. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week in the bag and onward to the next and what wonders it may hold for our video games. My guess is that it will have a light load for next week given that it is SDCC and most of it will be rehashed versions of things from E3. I just hope we get more of the positive news for our video games instead of the delays for Psychonauts 2 and very little for Shenmue III we had this week. Control The next developer diary for Control is out there to show off how we will be taking on the enemies of Control in the game The day is finally here, as we now have a look at more of the combat we will get to experience in Control this coming August. Not only the combat but also a bit more the game's main enemies we will have to worry about as we try to liberate The Oldest House from the grasp of the Hiss. There is still not much on what exactly they are, I am sure Remedy will save that for the game, but we do have a look at just what we will get to use in Control to bring them all to an end. Control New screenshots for Control are here just before E3 to give us another look at what we can expect for Control after the event In just over a week, we will all have a media blitz with E3 and it looks like it may be starting earlier, as usual, with Control. That is, we have a load of new screenshots for the game before it is shown off in a final form by Remedy out at the event. It still is releasing on August 27th, so there is still plenty of time to be teased with new gameplay videos and the other bizarreness we have seen in the past. Control The release date for Control is now confirmed and we can also see all the extras we can get with Control if we choose to pre-order It looks like the rumor and ‘leaks’ were true as Control will be dropping out there on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 27th. This comes shortly after the date popping up on the Xbox Market place and instead of trying to deny it all, Remedy has just accepted things and opted to give it all to us. Not the biggest of news there for Control, but it does lead into some new gameplay and other things for us to take in and see if we are ready to throw down some cash. Control During GDC 2019, new gameplay for Control was shown to give us a look at the game as well as how Real-Time Ray Tracing will affect Control Just as we all assumed at this point, GDC 2019 has already started off by giving us a look at some of the technologies coming to our video games and we get to see more for Control here. For this title we are seeing just how Remedy will be using some of the new Real-Time Ray Tracing for the game to make shadows look a bit crisper and the lighting feels a little more authentic. Control A new deep dive into the abilities of Control is out there where we get to see the different abilities and powers we will wield in Control We finally have some new updates for Control to look at and this one goes all in on the abilities and powers we will get to use in the game. Not that we did not have a clue what we would be seeing from Remedy in this form as we have seen all of the telekinetic abilities and the gun in past trailers. Now we get to find out that there is a bit more to it all than we previously thought.
