Have A Walk Along The Lines Of How Control Will Start

Control

New footage for Control is out there to show off just how Control will start and the tutorial will play out

If you cannot wait just over a month to be able to play Control and see what else the game has set up for us all, then you will be glad to know that we have much more to dive into here. As a matter of fact, we have thirteen minutes of footage to dive into here as Remedy teases us all just a bit more with the gameplay. That and we get to spoil just how Control starts and how we will be playing through it all on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 27th. This will be the first of the spoiler warnings you will be getting for the game here as we press right along.

Today we have a look at the first thirteen minutes of Control that dives into not only the story of the game, but also a bit on the tutorial mode we will have to play through to get a grasp on how to control everything. At least a bit more on the melee and gun combat in the weird mindscape Jesse will be in. Most of which looks to be about the basics we would normally expect with the exception of the service revolver we have seen for Control already. It looks like it will work more like a "cool down" style of gun instead of a resource managed one. It is always nice when "alien" tech makes sure you never run out of bullets.

Control — The First 13 Minutes

We’ll be revealing exclusive new information and gameplay from Remedy’s Control all month. To kick it off, let’s begin at the beginning.

Did you go ahead and spoil the opening minutes of Control or were you strong enough to shy away? Did you expect there to be more to the basic controls for the game or did you suspect they would all play out fairly basic given the material here? Are you glad to see less of the resource management mixed in here or was that the style of gameplay you were hoping for? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. When we have more for Control, we will share it all here. Just be sure to keep checking in for all of that and more.
