It Is Time To Breakdown Soulcalibur VI's Sophitia
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of December 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Soulcalibur A new video for Soulcalibur VI has been released and it goes a bit more into Sophitia for Soulcalibur VI and how she was one of the first characters crafted for it all It is always fun when we get new gameplay for titles like Soulcalibur VI and that is what we have here today. More gameplay and a nice look at one of the characters for the game, Sophitia. One of the staple characters that Bandai Namco needs to have in the game by most gamer's wants and now we have a good look at just her. Well, maybe not a good look, but a better look than we have had since Soulcalibur VI was first shown off and the first gameplay was thrown out there. Read More...

Tekken 7 Is Crossing Games Again As Noctis Joins In The Fight
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of November 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Tekken The third DLC character for Tekken 7 is here and it looks like Tekken 7 is going to be getting a bit of Final Fantasy XV in it Someone was sitting around and wondering what else needs to be part of Tekken 7 and what the game needed more of it seems. At least that is how I like to think about the process that Bandai Namco starts off with when they try to figure out what their game needs to have added to it to improve it all. That is also how I think Tekken 7's latest DLC character has come to light as I see someone thinking, "You what this game needs more of? Final Fantasy XV. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of September 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Little Nightmares It seems that Little Nightmares has done so well that we are all in need of a complete edition of Little Nightmares that is now coming in October Earlier this year we were all treated to a nice little game called Little Nightmares. Well, at least you had the chance to treat yourself to the game if it looked to fit into your particular interests. It was a dark adventure game from Tarsier Studios that caught a lot of great attention and fared rather well among all of the critics out there back in April. It looks like Little Nightmares fared so well that now on October 27th Bandai Namco is bringing the game back to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in a new form with the Complete Edition of the game. Call Of Duty: WWII & Destiny 2 Are Hitting SDCC Hard
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of July 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty Activision is bringing Call Of Duty: WWII, Crash Bandicoot, & Destiny 2 to SDCC with Call Of Duty: WWII Zombies getting shown off We are a week out from SDCC this year and as usual Activision is bringing a whole slew of things to show off with Call Of Duty: WWII and Destiny 2 being on the bill for this year's geekfeast. It makes perfect sense as they have done this almost every year for quite some time even when there are only small announcements and expansions for other games and then the buildup for their big money maker of the year. I guess that is why there is going to be a big announcement for Call Of Duty: WWII out there as the new Nazi Zombie mode is going to be the highlight of it all. Read More...

Code Vein Has Some New Gameplay Out Of This Year's Anime Expo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of July 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Code Vein If you wanted more gameplay for Code Vein, then you'll be happy to know that Code Vein just received a bit more fresh from this year's Anime Expo Not long ago we had the announcement of Code Vein to be heading to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2018. It flew under a whole lot of radars out there, including ours, but now that the Anime Expo has kicked off and just about to wrap for this year, it looks like Bandai Namco took the opportunity to show off a bit more gameplay for the game out there. It makes sense as Code Vein is being labeled an Anime version of a Dark Souls title. The gameplay sure highlights that as well as the basic art and story that has already been seen since the first announcement. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/29/17 — 6/2/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of June 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was a shorter week here in video games but it still packed a lot of punches indeed. A lot of which was just to build up to E3 in just over a week from now but still we had a bunch of good and bad things happen this week. I know it was a bummer to see that Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War was delayed a few months, as well as Agony. At least the second title there had an amazing reason for the delay. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Crash Bandicoot A massive gameplay dump for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is here and it shows off just how all these Crash Bandicoot titles have been fully updated More gameplay for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy that is coming to the PS4 on June 30th has just been dropped and it is another massive bit. We've had a few teases given out from Activision over the last few weeks, but here it looks like Vicarious Visions has opted to sit down and dole out close to a half-hour demo of the titles in the bundle and we all get to sit back and watch. It also looks like they didn't stick to just one title in the Crash Bandicoot franchise that will be part of this new bundled remaster, so there is a lot to take in on top of all of that. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Tekken 7 The opening cinematic for Tekken 7 has been released so we can all get a feel for Tekken 7 just before it launches in June In just over a week from now Tekken 7 will be landing on your PS4, Xbox One, or PC. In just over a week we'll all have a chance to see what has been crafted here by Bandai Namco for the next installment of the title to bring us all back into a fighting mode. As if we didn't have something like that going for us already, but this is Tekken 7 and not the others that have already released for us at this point. But I digress for now as that is not what we have here today besides getting a reminder that June 2nd we be the day that we all get to experience this title all over the world. Read More...

Just How Transformed Is The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Crash Bandicoot Two new videos for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy have popped up to give us a feel for how the original Crash Bandicoot games have been updated So far we've seen what the updates for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will look like and how some of the levels have been altered to handle better and not just look better. We are talking some very old games here that Vicarious Visions is bringing back to us and it isn't something as easy as a texture swap to get the levels and characters looking as they do on the PS4. Some gamers out there don't have a good frame of reference though for where Crash Bandicoot is coming from and what has truly gone into the update that Activision is bringing us. Read More...

Roger Jr Will Not Be In Tekken 7, But Not For The Reasons You Think
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 1st of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Tekken 7 Contrary to rumors going around about Tekken 7, but PETA isn’t the cause of the reason for occlusion of Tekken 7's resident marsupial Well, it looks to be true that Roger Jr. will not be in Tekken 7, but not due to any complaints from animal rights activists or any weird call from Bandai Namco in terms of development. While Google translate can be a bit dodgy when translating Katsuhiro Harada’s tweets; a bunch of uninformed journalism combined with the rabid Tekken fan base has led to a lot of misinformation to spread like wildfire in the fields of the internet. From what I can gather Harada and the rest of the team are just trying to make the best game they can. Read More...

Crash Bandicoot More gameplay for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has been given out and we get to see how this Crash Bandicoot remaster changes a few things for the better Hopefully by now you've seen plenty of Crash Bandicoot and played a lot of it as well. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Has Been Given A Release Date To Run Too
by Jana Lass [ Monday, 20th of February 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Crash Bandicoot A release date for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has been set and it looks like June will be when we dive back into these three Crash Bandicoot titles in HD Get ready to clear some calendar space as the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has finally be given a release date to look forward to and that would be June 30th now. This would be the latest HD collection that Vicarious Visions has been remastering for Activision and it is coming for the PS4. While I know many gamers out there would have rather had a full and new Crash Bandicoot title, at least this is a start and a nice little slice of nostalgia for all of those hardcore fans of the IP as well as the PlayStation name. Things Are Getting Creepier In Little Nightmares With New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of February 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Little Nightmares New gameplay for Little Nightmares has released and it shows off more creepiness in Little Nightmares as well as some new horrible creatures to dodge Before now we all had a solid idea that Little Nightmares was going to be filled with a lot of creepy and dark imagery. At least if you've been following along with everything that Tarsier Studios has put out for the game so far and have not been trying to stay as free of gameplay spoilers so far. In the end it looks like a title that is right up my alley there and with some new gameplay from Bandai Namco today, Little Nightmares gets even further locked in for me and hopefully all of you who are into some dark and creepy platforming. Time to take notice as it is still launching on April 28th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC here soon. Read More...
