It Is Time For Some Hardcore Magic Parkour For Forspoken
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of October 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Forspoken Dive deeper into the parkour system coming in Forspoken that will have us blending magic and free-running in the world When we get whisked away to a far-off land out there and granted magical powers, the first thing we try to do is beef up our Parkour skills in the mix. Maybe that is just our protagonist we have here for Forspoken and the way we glide on into the latest update that we have for the game as Luminous Productions puts on the final touches before January 24th of 2023. That is when Forspoken is still slated to hit the PS5 and PC, so we best get to know how we are going to be putting all of these new-found powers to use in the game. This time with a little bit of magical parkour. Read More...

Marvel’s Midnight Suns Is Getting More Characters Into The Mix Down The Line
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of October 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
Midnight Suns The roster of the Midnight Suns will have four more characters added in after the full launch of Marvel’s Midnight Suns We are still waiting for Marvel’s Midnight Suns to drop on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC with December 2nd coming up on us soon. We have also been teased with a bit of the DLC that we will be able to snag based on the pre-order options we have right now from Firaxis Games. That and Deadpool taking over all of the Marvel’s Midnight Suns social accounts gave us some solid teases as to what is coming, but here we go with the official announcement of the next four characters that will be dropping out there. Most of them have been figured out from the teases, but now is the time for the full announcement and what they will bring beyond more characters to the roster. Read More...

God Of War Step further behind-the-scenes with God Of War: Ragnarök and see how combat and enemies have changed since God Of War November 9th does not seem like it is going to be getting here fast enough with each new look we have for God Of War: Ragnarök. Even with Santa Monica Studio doing all that they can to keep the leaks and spoilers at bay from various others out there. None of that will be featured on the site here. Instead, we will dig into the latest behind-the-scenes footage we have for God Of War: Ragnarök to get us all amped up for the game in a few weeks and to see how it is going to evolve things even further on the PS4 and PS5. Know Death & Go Into The Night Here With The Latest For Redfall
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of October 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
Redfall A bit more of a taste for Redfall is here now to show us how creepy Redfall will be just in time for Halloween It always feels so random when we get anything for Redfall out there but it does feel like it is the right time to get more with Halloween around the corner here. I know we all want more for the game, but it is a good sign that Arkane Austin is still putting in the hard work over trying to just push out the content for now. That is why it is always a nice little treat when we have something new for Redfall in the mix as the 2023 wait continues for the Xbox Series X|S and PC. For now, though, let us see what horrors are filling the town in the latest short we have for the game. Read More...

Do Not Lose Your Head This Halloween With The Quarry
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of October 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
The Quarry The Quarry has dropped out a nice little bit of extras to get us all back into The Quarry just in time for Halloween With Halloween only a few days away from now, it seems like the perfect time to start getting all of those themed updates and extras out there for the game. The Quarry is the next one we have in the list of games getting the treatment, even if it is one that should have been enjoyed all month so far. It is a great little horror game that Supermassive Games has made in a way so we can also enjoy it as a movie too. There is little likelihood that you have been able to play The Quarry the same way twice so far, and now we get to add a little bit more into the mix for free on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of October 2022 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just as we all should have assumed for this time of year and week, most of the video games we had updates for here were horror-based. Some we knew were coming and others that were poorly-kept rumors out there. I am looking at you Silent Hill. Even if that was a huge shock to see things were going to be more than just a remaster of decades-old titles. Read More...

DarKnot Will Leave Us Hanging A Bit More For That Early Access
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of October 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
DarKnot A slight delay for DarKnot is now here for those looking to get fully in on the Early Access for DarKnot It might feel like we have all kinds of horror titles out here for Halloween, but it looks like one more is going to take a bit of time with DarKnot getting delayed until November 3rd now. In fairness, this is a delay that will only have us seeing the Early Access of the game pushed out until then. That does mean that there is still hope that this time next year, DarKnot Team will have the game fully ready for the PC. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of October 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
Borderlands We can head back into the Borderlands again with the launch we have for the New Tales From The Borderlands Get ready to be a different kind of Vault Hunter out there with the New Tales From The Borderlands launching out there. It felt like it rather crept up on us all out there, but Gearbox Software has been ready for it all and taking the story a bit further. Even if it does seem like this one will not be truly linked to the previous Tales From The Borderlands game out there. The best part is that we are seeing all five episodes out there on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Read More...

Final Fantasy Final Fantasy XVI pushes things forward with a new trailer showing off the scale of this new Final Fantasy world There is a whole lot of ambition going into Final Fantasy XVI and that is more than just a cheeky statement based on the latest trailer we have to look at. That and a little more on the backstory in Final Fantasy XVI that will show that the characters have the same ambition out there as the team crafting all of this experience for us. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of October 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Gotham Knights A new breakdown video for Gotham Knights has been released that takes us a little deeper into the gameplay of Gotham Knights We are on the verge of getting to actually experience Gotham Knights on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC but some out there might still need a little bit of a lesson to know what is up with the game. Beyond it being an action game that is furthering the story of Gotham after WB Games Montréal has killed him off. One would think that if you were going to be in on Gotham Knights, you would have already thrown down on it with just that little blurb. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of October 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Midnight Suns The Midnight Suns have a new recruit looking to join with Deadpool and others teased for the future of Marvel’s Midnight Suns The list of heroes that we have in Marvel’s Midnight Suns has been fairly full for a while now and we have had some good showcasing for them, but now it looks as if Firaxis Games is gearing up to show us what will be coming down the pipe. At least possibly down the pipe, with this little tease for Deadpool to join in the mix of the fight. All in the normal Deadpool way to plead for us to make it all happen too. Read More...

God Of War: Ragnarök Shapes More Of The Story We Are Going To Love
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of October 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
God Of War The story of God Of War: Ragnarök has taken a bit of shaping since the previous God Of War title we have had It is time, once more, to go behind the scenes and see how some of our games are made and shaped out there, with God Of War: Ragnarök being the next on the list. There have been a few bits like this out there from Santa Monica Studio already, but this is a deeper dive into the story with various other aspects yet to come. All so we can have a better appreciation for God Of War and then see the hardships that they had to go through to get this latest one ready for the November 9th launch on the PS4 and PS5. A journey that all started out with some true hardships as far back as 2020, if we all want to try to remember those times… As it has been alluded to thus far for God Of War: Ragnarök, this first part in the ongoing series does focus on the story and how it has been evolving out there. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of October 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
Midnight Suns More gameplay for Marvel’s Midnight Suns is here along with a deeper dive into what Nico will add to the Midnight Suns roster It is a new week and we have another massive character showcase for another of the team in Marvel’s Midnight Suns. We had Nico introduced before and now Firaxis Games is ready to give us all a little bit more of a taste. Even if it does look like Nico will function a bit differently than was assumed here. It is a good call and keeps the feel of the character in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, but I feel like it could be a bit of a missed opportunity. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/10/22 — 10/14/22
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of October 2022 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is time to stick a fork in this week as it is done and we had so many video games to talk about this week. Some on the side of titles launching soon as God Of War: Ragnarök and Gotham Knights and others are a still bit of a way off, as the Dead Space Remake is currently. Not to mention a whole lot more for video games like Marvel’s Midnight Suns that will be out before the end of the year and just in time for the gift-giving season. If that is something you plan on taking part in too. Read More...
