Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Mark one more week in the bag for all of the fun we had for video games. Another one filled with all manner of updates big and small. Mortal Kombat 1 and Star Wars Outlaws giving us some big things to look forward to and then others like Nope Challenge and V Rising gearing us up for other experiences to have. Brothers We sit down and review Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons Remake. A new way to experience this dark & deep story. Here is our review of this remake for Brothers In an era of remakes and remasters, it is always nice when we see some of the under-appreciated titles show back up as we did with the Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons Remake. A title that caught my attention a while back when I enjoyed the original version and now we have Avantgarden coming back in to bring us the same story and fun but with all of the other upgrades that we have had over the last decade. Hordes Of Hel Fight off the Hordes Of Hel in the latest roguelike title that is announced with Jötunnslayer: Hordes Of Hel It looks like it is time for the Norse side of the mythology world out there to have another fun crack at the horde-survivor genre out there with the announcement for Jötunnslayer: Hordes Of Hel. This would be the next title that is in the works for the PC from Games Farm and Grindstone. A new roguelike-style title that will place us all firmly in the realm of the Norse Gods as we head out to engage in all manner of battles and missions. Read More...

Star Wars The universe of Star Wars is further expanding this coming August with the release of Star Wars Outlaws It seems the rumors were true and we now have a release date set down for when Star Wars Outlaws will be hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Not only a nice little release date, but it looks as if Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft wanted to make sure we had more of the story to get excited over so we can pre-order the various different versions of the game too. Different versions that will have the various DLC as usual and more of the story. If it is one thing Star Wars fans love, it is paying for more story out there. Read More...

Mortal Kombat The next Mortal Kombat character, Ermac, is coming on back in with more souls into Mortal Kombat 1 The DLC keeps on flowing out there for Mortal Kombat 1 just as the blood and violence of the game. Here we have the next character coming back into the IP with NetherRealm Studios putting the final touches on Ermac. All so we can experience what he has to bring to the fight again on April 23rd. Final Fantasy A new behind-the-scene series for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth offers up one more look at how Final Fantasy VII Rebirth came to be It has now been a solid month since Final Fantasy VII Rebirth launched out there on the PS5 and many have been still playing through the story of it all. It is a massive game and had a whole lot of extra work added in from Square Enix to further justify why it has taken so long between massive releases. A close-to-perfect game did come from all of that. Suicide Squad The Suicide Squad has a new member out there now with the Joker out there in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League The next Elseworld is here for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League and that means that The Joker is out there in the world now. All as a playable character in the game as we all try to get all the way through the story that Rocksteady started for us but left on a bit of a cliffhanger. That is what the DLC is for and now we have more of that fun Suicide Squad banter and gameplay on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC. Starship Troopers A new expansion is on the way to Starship Troopers: Terran Command to take the fight to Earth for all of our Starship Troopers The fun of Starship Troopers: Terran Command is going to be expanding a bit more with the next DLC on its way to us this June. The next DLC that will have us looking at a whole new area of the IP with The Artistocrats bringing the fight deeper into the mix. If you have not jumped into the bug-squashing fun of the Starship Troopers universe with this title yet, it might be time to do that so you can be fully ready when Slitherine brings us the Urban Onslaught. South Park A new behind-the-scenes for South Park: Snow Day is out there to show off how South Park is coming further to 3D Get bundled up and ready to head out with South Park: Snow Day, as it hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC today. After a good chunk of waiting, Question Games is ready to show off how they are bringing the 2D world into a 3D space and let us have all of that fun the IP is known for. 1943 The story of Marvel 1943: Rise Of Hydra is out there so we have more than just a title card for Marvel 1943 to speculate over Here we go with the Black Panther and Captain America video game getting a big update for us all to experience as Marvel 1943: Rise Of Hydra was shown off at GDC 2024. More than we have a bigger story and get to see just how Skydance is bringing this title to light and how Marvel Games will further expand their roster with, hopefully, a great story. Beggar The next title in the Horror Tales line will have a PS5 physical edition for those who want it for Horror Tales: The Beggar There are still many out there who do enjoy owning a physical version of our video games, and it seems that the PS5 gamers will have that option with Horror Tales: The Beggar when it does launch. Why only that platform when the game is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC too, that is a question for a different day.
