Scars Above
The next behind-the-scenes video for Scars Above is here to show off the protagonist coming to us in Scars Above
Here we go with the next of the behind-the-scenes videos for Scars Above and this one gives us a better look at the protagonist of the game that we will be following along with. A new scientist character that Mad Head Games has been gearing up for us all and giving a whole different way of going about things. That means that we will not have the normal shooter hero in the mix but a scientist that will be using more of the brain than the brawn to survive Scars Above. That is the sound of it all but we will know for sure when February 28th comes and goes and we can experience it all on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The following video we have for Scars Above elaborates on some of that a bit more along with the voice actor that will be bringing Kate to life here. It is a little interesting to hear that as Kate progresses in the game, there are not going to be the usual stat bumps or extra skills added in. Instead, we will see Kate get more gear and items to solve problems and bring down the various enemies in the game. All to highlight the use of science and critical thinking over brute force in Scars Above. The gameplay mixed in does not do a great job of showing this, as it does look like Kate is just hitting harder and has increased damage bubbles, but that could all flow different once the game lands on us in a few weeks.
Scars Above — The Making Of: Bringing Kate To Life (Part II)
Scars Above is a challenging sci-fi third-person action-adventure shooter combining the rewarding feel of overcoming difficulty with a compelling and intricate story, set in a mysterious alien world to explore.
Uncover the mystery of Scars Above! Available February 28th on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One!
How do you think the big science brain will work in the final version of Scars Above or will Kate still just have different skills to employ but under different names? Would you rather see skills for Kate function like learning new weaknesses of the enemies or ways to use the weapons or will it be nice to have too many tools to do the same job? Will this all truly be a bout a science trip that has gone wrong and we will be the invading force once more? Give us those thoughts on all of this down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you so wish to do. More for Scars Above will be on the way to us, so please keep checking back in for all of that and much, much more.
