Blood Bowl The next Blood Bowl team spotlight is here with the Elven Union taking the stage for Blood Bowl 3 now Another team is getting tossed out there for Blood Bowl 3 here and now we have the Elven Union taking the field to show off more of what they can do. Just as the name of the team implies, this is the one that is filled with all of those pesky elves with Cyanide giving them a little more grace instead of brutality in the mix. Not that they will not have any of that, this is a Blood Bowl game, but it definitely looks like they will be able to out-maneuver most out there that they come across. ELEX The sequel to ELEX is now officially a thing with the announcement of ELEX II fresh out of this year’s E3 One more new title and sequel was dropped on us during E3 with the announcement of ELEX II bringing the IP back to us and on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. You may or may not remember the original title that came out before from Piranha Bytes and THQ Nordic that we saw years ago, but no matter the case, we are getting another one. All to carry along the fun of ELEX just a bit more and in a bit more of a metal way. Night Book A new FMV game, Night Book, was teased during this year's E3 with Night Book showing off what remote work can accomplish Here we go with another one of the great FMV style video games getting teased and poised to hit us with Night Book. This would be one of the next titles that Wales Interactive and Good Gate Media will be bringing to us on all of the platforms out there when it does hit. It also happened to be a small thing to slip out there during E3 this year that might have gone unnoticed for a bit. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. New footage for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is out there out of E3 to show off more of the horrors this S.T.A.L.K.E.R. sequel will bring us It came and went, but we managed to snag a look at the latest for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 fresh out of this year's E3 and it shows us quite a bit more than some might have been expecting for the game. Even if it is all presented in a way that feels like it is not part of the game at times. That could be what GSC Game World is aiming for here and, I kind of dig it. Read More...

Psychonauts A deeper dive into Psychonauts 2 is here to give us a bit more on the story and gameplay we will experience in Psychonauts 2 Last week's update and trailer for Psychonauts 2 seems to not be the only big bits we had out of E3 there, as it looks like there was more hidden in some after shows. I am not sure why you would not come out with all of this information and detail during the main events of it all, but it does lead to us having more from Double Fine to talk about here and from the main developer at that. Tim Schafer is back here to tell us more of the gameplay and story for Psychonauts 2 that we might have missed before and also elaborate on a few other bits we only had hinted at all the way back in 2019. Tandem Tandem: A Tale Of Shadows has some new gameplay to show off how we will need to work in Tandem to survive the nightmares Let us inject some more dark and creepy gameplay from Tandem: A Tale Of Shadows into your life here now that E3 is mostly over with here. It was a bit more to show off how the characters would interact in the game that kind of was left in the shadows. Something that works well for the theme and design that Monochrome Paris is going for here, but not the best to get us all amped up for Tandem to hit the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC when it does finally come. Hello Neighbor A new video for Hello Neighbor 2 gives us a little bit of a deeper look on how Hello Neighbor will be evolving Here we go with a little more of the mystery to see here for Hello Neighbor 2 out of this year's E3. It is not all too much, but it is something given that it was snuck into the PC Gaming Show by tinyBuild and felt like it was there to let us know it was still coming to the PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. We still have no clue on when Hello Neighbor 2 will be out, but it is still slated for a 2021 release. Now we can just dive in and try to pick apart what we can from the latest showing of it all. Hellblade A new update for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is here out of E3 to let us know how the next Hellblade is shaping up Another title that felt like it was missing in all of the big to do around this year's digital E3 was Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2. Given all of the Xbox Series X titles that were getting pumped out there, it felt a little off that Ninja Theory did not have much to offer up. That was until a bit after the fact where we were able to get a small update on how Hellblade 2 is shaping up. Life Is Strange A new breakdown of Life Is Strange: True Colors is here to give us a better understanding of the new powers coming to this Life Is Strange story One of the other titles out there that felt like it was getting some solid presence during the digital E3 this year had to be Life Is Strange: True Colors. It had its own little highlight during the Square Enix event and then Deck Nine Games had the announcement that it was going to be hitting the Switch when it launches out there on September 10th for all of the other platforms too. Medium The Medium has been announced for the PS5 now and we will be able to head into the dual-worlds of The Medium again As if we could not see it coming beforehand, it looks like The Medium is finally making the leap from the Xbox Series X and PC to head over to the PS5. This was one of the smaller announcements that slipped out during E3 this year from Bloober Team and it should be something to excite us all just a bit more. It was another great entry from the developer before when it hit us and now on September 3rd, we will get to experience the dual-world mechanics and maybe with a few new features along the way. They are looking to use the features of the DualSense controller for The Medium to mix in a few things we did not get before; they just are not fully listed as of yet. Read More...

Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That was one whirlwind of a week there and we barely made it through a small slice of those video games that were announced, updated, or just plain shown off here during this year's virtual E3. Final Fantasy A new Final Fantasy game was announced during this year’s E3 with Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin I hope you are ready for some new kind of chaos in your life, as that is what Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin seems to be bringing into it all for us. This would be one of the unnamed titles that Square Enix had to show off during E3 this year and it was definitely one of the more questionable ones. It also happens to be one of those titles that were rumored out there with it being a Soulslike title inspired by Final Fantasy and not any kind of sequel or spin-off that the name might suggest. Back 4 Blood Back 4 Blood will have a PvP mode mixed in for us all to take the horrors of Back 4 Blood on the attack Given the team working on Back 4 Blood, it was easy to assume that we could be seeing some form of PvP in the mix at some point. When it came to other titles from Turtle Rock, it took a bit and came post-launch. It looks like we are not going to have to wait further than October 12th for that to hit Back 4 Blood, though, as it was announced during E3 that we will be seeing a PvP mode in the mix of it all then. Chernobylite New gameplay for Chernobylite is here to tease us as we get a solid release date set down for Chernobylite as well Last we heard from Chernobylite was that the game was going to be hitting us all this July at some point. We speculated that this would most likely be near the end of the month given how loose The Farm 51 was with the release window. Now, hot out of E3 this year, we have that final date to look forward to for those looking to play Chernobylite on the PC from whichever vendor they are looking to go with. Redfall A new open-world co-op title, Redfall, was announced at E3 and Redfall will have us out there hunting down all manner of vampire During E3 this year, we have had a plethora of new titles announced, with many being new IPs, and here we go with one more by the way of Redfall. This would be the next huge title that Arkane Austin have been working on over the past bit of time and they are aiming to bring us a new FPS title to explore and slay in. A new FPS title that is also an open-world with co-op as we hunt down some genetically modified vampires out there.
