PlayStation Is Giving PS4 Owners The Chance To Beta Firmware
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Looks like the rumors from March are now true as PlayStation is allowing members to sign up to beta test new firmware for the PS4 Way back in March of this year rumors started springing up that PlayStation users would be getting a firmware beta program for the PS4. Nothing was concrete and set in stone back then as this was all based on a few emails and screen shots that could have been faked. Well it turns out they were not faked as right now PS4 owners who want to give new firmware a try can sign up to beta test on their systems. Because this is apparently a thing that PS4 owners have wanted so their Xbox One buddies would stop having something to gloat about. Read More...

28 Years Of Metal Gear Solid Will Be Concluded In The Phantom Pain
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A new promotional video for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been released teasing that we will get the answers we've waited decades for It's a little crazy to think that we've been playing Metal Gear Solid games for almost thirty years. Twenty eight to be exact and it has been one hell of a ride that Kojima has taken us on over the years. I guess that will make the ending of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain much more emotional as it will be an end to a rather lengthy run. Konami has said they want to keep the franchise rolling but The Phantom Pain will be the end of the franchise with the man who started it all. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A new gameplay video for Until Dawn has been released to show more teenage death, horror, and the butterfly effect we'll play with in Until Dawn As if yesterday's installment of teenage death and terror from Until Dawn wasn't enough we have yet another trailer for the game. Only this time it is a gameplay trailer for Until Dawn and not a live action one. It also happens to touch upon the butterfly effect again as this is something that Supermassive Games has been pushing since Until Dawn was changed over to a PS4 title. At least to my memory. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Mad Max also gets the interactive trailer treatment to help show all of the different angles we can take when tackling missions in Mad Max Technically this new Mad Max trailer landed near the end of last week but it didn't get any traction, pun intended, until now as it seems like the week of interactive trailers based on how it has started. That is completely right if you guessed it. We have a new Mad Max interactive trailer to show off all of the madness that awaits us in the Wasteland when Avalanche Studios' new title on September 1st. Read More...

Get Ready To Move In Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 With New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new gameplay video for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 has been released to prep everyone for the Beta and it shows off the new movement mechanics in Black Ops 3 With the multiplayer beta for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 almost here and only a few tidbits of what we will get to experience in it out as of now I'd say it is high time for something new. This is just what we are about to get although I am sure that this is not what fans holding out for the beta are hoping for as we now have a tutorial on the new modes of movement in Black Ops 3 from Treyarch. There is going to be a lot more than just running and jumping here so I guess we needed to have a full on tutorial showcasing it all instead of the maps and modes for the Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta. The PlayStation Experience Is Coming Back & To A New Location
by Julia Schoebel [ Friday, 14th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
PlayStation Sony has announced that the PlayStation Experience will be happening again only this time the PlayStation Experience will be in San Francisco Given the success of last year's PlayStation Experience it would be a bit daft to think that it wouldn't be making a huge comeback this year. For the uneducated this would be Sony's huge PlayStation "Fan Fest" of sorts to show off all their new and current IPs, hardware, and ideas coming to their platforms. Seeing as they didn't make a big push for anything sans the Morpheus at E3 and other conventions we can most likely expect the PlayStation Experience to only show off items for the PS3, PS4, PS Vita, and the like but who knows? Maybe Sony will have some kind of huge surprise just for this event here and no one but they know at this time. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Hours of gameplay for Mad Max was shown off in a developer's livestream of the game and it shows off a lot of combat and the upgrading system for Mad Max If you want to see a lot of new Mad Max gameplay then you came to the right place. At least you came to the right place today as if you have been as overly excited for Mad Max as I have been you would have been able to see all of this yesterday when Avalanche Studios held a live stream event to show it all off. So you'll only be about a day behind everyone else but at least you are going to get to see the open world of Mad Max in all of its glory as well as a few other things that Warner Bros. haven't allowed to be shown until now. Get The BFG Ready As We Have A New DOOM Gameplay Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new bit of gameplay for DOOM has been released out there and it shows off some good old fashions demon killing…and the BFG Sometimes in the hullabaloo of things stuff gets lost in the cracks as was the case here with the most recent DOOM trailer that was released. There have been so many new things going on due to Gamescom and a plethora of title releases that this new DOOM trailer was also missed by us here as well. We are sorry for that id Software and now we are going to make up for that. Granted it will only be in the way of showing off the new DOOM trailer to all but at least it is something. Read More...

New Trailer For The Technomancer Shows Off The Horrors Of Mars
by Duke Searles [ Thursday, 13th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
We have a new trailer for The Technomancer to show off even if it doesn't show anything more than a bit of Mars from The Technomancer Hopefully you are in the mood for seeing more for The Technomancer. I say that because that is what we have here for you and all today in the form of a new trailer for the game. We can thank Spiders Games for giving us something else to look at for The Technomancer. Sadly though it looks like there is nothing new to truly look at except for a bit more the oddness that is Mars in The Technomancer and one of the mutants that we are going to be compared to while being hunted for "going rogue" in the game. Dying Light: The Following Looks To Expand On Kyle Crane's Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
New details and pricing for Dying Light's next DLC The Following have been released and it looks like we are getting to know Dying Light's protagonist a bit more Late last month we had a look at the next big DLC for Dying Light titled the The Following. Up until Gamescom all we had were little tidbits based off screenshots and brief descriptions from Techland and nothing else. The big knowns about the next big Dying Light DLC was that it would have a map larger than anything we've played before, it was going to be story-based DLC, and that we would be getting dirt buggies to roll around the maps and mow down zombies with. That has been about it and Warner Bros. Read More...
