The creators of Night Trap are looking to bring us all the game for a new generation via Kickstarter campaign Some of you may not be old enough to remember Night Trap or the Sega CD for that matter. Hells, I wasn't even enough years into my life cycle at the time to play Night Trap by the ESRB standards now when I first dove into the game back in 1992. I guess that is a point in the corner for the game helping spawn the ratings board due to the fact that back then "all video games were for kids." At least that was the mentality and it was truthfully a key factor in my want to get into the gaming industry. Read More...

A new walkthrough trailer for Gauntlet has been released to show off all of the changes to the game since its early days in gaming If you still Need Food Badly here then you should be excited to know that…oh wait…never mind… it looks like the release date for Gauntlet has been pushed back. You will still be waiting to get your "food badly" for a little bit longer as the game is now slated for a September 23rd release to let Arrowhead "fine-tune" the multiplayer experience for all those PC gamers out there. Sorry to get your hopes up and crush you a bit more as we now have to wait just a bit longer. At least it isn't 2015. Read More...

Multiplayer is now a feature in Dragon Age: Inquisition and we have a new trailer to show off how BioWare and EA are implementing it into the game Yea, you read that right; Dragon Age: Inquisition is getting multiplayer mixed into the game. To be honest I am surprised that it took this long to get a multiplayer option into the franchise as it seems like it would be a decent fit. At least that is how I saw it back in the Origins day as the game played a lot like other titles that had a good multiplayer mixed in for the genre. I guess BioWare and EA wanted to make sure the franchise felt different and are just no getting around to adding in a touch of multiplayer. Read More...

The Walking Dead Season 2 has come to a close and it is time to let you all know what I thought about the latest episode and the whole season That is a wrap on season two of The Walking Dead from Telltale. Episode five has been released and there is No Going Back now. See what I did there? I was lucky enough to be able to sit down and play through the final episode and give it the old gamer review. I'll try to keep things as spoiler free as possible but in the mix I will warn that there are a few spoilers I feel I had to touch upon as they were either things I loved or hated about the conclusion here. Also, I am trying something new for this review. Read More...

A new trailer for Escape Dead Island has been released from Fatshark and Deep Silver with a release date mixed in It's only been a few days now since we brought you a few new looks at Escape Dead Island. We pondered on the release date for the game and now it looks like we will all be getting to Escape Dead Island on our PS3, Xbox 360, or PC on November 18th. A little late for Halloween but that most likely means that Fatshark wasn't being rushed to meet the horror month deadline for their new take on the Dead Island franchise. Not that we won't be plagued with Zombies and Aliens already during that time. Read More...

We get another fun look behind the scenes of Sunset Overdrive and learn nothing we didn't already know about the game If you are looking for more news and information on Sunset Overdrive then you have come to the right place. Unfortunately we don't have anything as of right now. That is at least if you don't care about hearing the same descriptions of Sunset Overdrive over and over from Insomniac Games and the whole press crew trying to pimp out the title. You would think for another of those Xbox One exclusive titles they would be flooding the market with news and awesomeness for the game but it looks like all we are getting is a whole bunch more to let the BS Meter go off with an annoying buzz again. Just a bit lower you can see the latest "behind the scenes" video for Sunset Overdrive. Read More...

The voice over cast of The Evil Within has been announced via a behind the scenes video and it included some amazing horror actors If there is one title actually coming out this year that looks scary as hells it would be The Evil Within. This should be no shocker unless you are just now hearing about this title coming from Shinji Mikami, the mind behind bringing horror to video games, or just caught wind of the voices that will be lending to the overall experience. I hear that people follow actors more than developers now. Who'd have thought? Read More...

A few new screenshots for Escape Dead Island have popped up online and it looks like there is a fan favorite in the mix If there is one title still to come this year that I am overly excited for it is Escape Dead Island from Fatshark and Deep Silver. At SDCC the game looked like so much fun with an amazing twist on the franchise as a whole. All that said, you best know that I would get all tickled red when a few new screen shots crop up for all of us to gander and speculate over. That is just what we have a bit lower on the page for you at that. Read More...

We have a slew of new images for The Order: 1886 that show a good look at the gadgets, locations, and creatures of the game Recently it was shown that Nikola Tesla is behind some of the cool things we will get to see and play with in The Order: 1886. Just in case you didn't get a chance to catch all of said things you are in luck as we have a nice smattering of images from the upcoming PS4 title from Ready At Dawn. All of which are supposedly from live gameplay and not pre-rendered goodness. If that is true then The Order: 1886 is going to truly be one of those titles to show off all of the power and abilities of the PS4 when a developer can get completely behind it all. Read More...

Over the weekend there was a new FAQ posted to the official Rise Of The Tomb Raider Tumblr to try and explain what is going on with the platform exclusivity A few weeks back there was a huge stir as to if Rise Of The Tomb Raider was ever going to see the light of day on anything other than the Xbox One or Xbox 360 come the holiday season of 2015. The announcement of everything sure made it sound like it was not in the books at all that we would get to see the Tomb Raider again on the PS3, PS4, or PC. At least in the guise of the amazing reboot that Crystal Dynamics has already given all of the platforms out there. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming We can call it a wrap on this week of gaming now can't we? No we can all move on to play all of those games that we've been putting off until the weekend now and dig right in. That does not mean that we didn't have a whole lot to cover in the world of gaming news. There was quite a bit as well as a few reviews for games coming out next week here. That would be both Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux that I am talking about here. Read More...

A new bit of gameplay for The Vanishing of Ethan Carter has been released showing off some of the core mechanics and story of the game When I first heard about The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter I kind of let it fall a bit to the side of the metaphoric video game road. I didn't disregard the game completely but with the little description I was given it just wasn't something that caught my eye and sucked me in. That was at least until we got some new gameplay footage for The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter and got to fully see what we will be doing on our PCs and PS4s in the coming months. Sooner on the PC but that is a whole other discussion. Read More...

We Sit Down And Review Metro: Last Light Redux. It's only been a Year Since It First Released so did it need the upgrade treatment? Here we go again to enter the Metro for the second time with Metro: Last Light Redux. The fully upgraded version of Metro: Last Light that only hit shelves a little over a year ago. I personally enjoyed the hell out of the game the first go around so it made me wonder if an 'HD Upgrade' was truly needed. I guess I'll get to answer if the latest PS4, XB1, and PC release of the game is worth the price of admission of just another cash grab for fans of the franchise or new players who have yet to experience the fun. Konami and Kojima Productions have finally brought us more on the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain multiplayer aspect shown at E3 this year Last week at Gamescom we were shown a bit on how we can keep replaying Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain after all was said and done the first time. In a nutshell there are many different ways to tackle the missions and each should give us a bit more time with the game after we beat The Phantom Pain proper. But back at E3 there was a bit of a showing of multiplayer which would be the true way to keep gamers addicted to Kojima's latest title wouldn't it. Well, we have more on all of that as of now and we are here to share. Read More...
