Get Your Music In The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of July 2009 - 06:04 PM ]
The Rock Band Network is Coming Something that was talked about way back when the Original Rock Band came to market has just been previewed online. What is this I speak of? Well the ability for users to make their own songs and get them into Rock Band to help promote underground bands using the game. Also to make a little scratch for the struggling artists as well. Only a few years later than teased, but this could change the future of the game and tracks for the game. Read More...

Take Two Made My Little Sister Late
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of July 2009 - 05:44 PM ]
Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. Provides Financial Update This makes me very sad to say, but it looks like the original release date of Late October of this year is no longer for BioShock 2. In fact a solid release date is no longer anywhere attached to BioShock 2 any more. Just a time frame. A year long time frame at that too. With only the excuse of needing to take extra time to give towards development time for the title. This places the sequel around 3 years after the original release on the PC and XBox and only 2 years since the PS3 launch. Read More...

"There's Something In The Sea"
by Sam [ Saturday, 7th of March 2009 - 12:02 AM ]
Take-Two has just released a teaser website for Bioshock 2: Sea or Dreams and are going around town putting up weird posters on the streets to advertise the website, which can be found here.Picture provided by Kotaku reader Dominique:Though the site is new, there isn't much too see on there. You can see a picture of the big daddy doll that was shown in the first teaser trailer of the game, a picture of an "average mens shoe" on the beach and local newspaper articles such as one from February 20th, 1967 titled "LOCAL GIRL VANISHES IN MYSTERIOUS ATTACK" which should give some kind of hint about what to expect in the upcoming game.Still more updates to come. Hopefully we'll get an insight of what to expect in the game or maybe some actual gameplay soon. Read More...

[PC Review] Sam & Max: Season Two
by Michael Camacho [ Sunday, 14th of December 2008 - 07:46 PM ]
Sam & Max are back in their second collection of episodes appropriately titled, Sam & Max: Season Two. For those who don't know, Sam & Max are a detective duo, calling themselves "the freelance police", based off of the comic series created by Steve Purcell. Sam, a 6-foot dog in stereotypical detective attire, and Max, a rabbit with a pension for violence, solve crimes without any regard for the law and rarely without conflict. The series consists of references various aspects of pop culture, offbeat humorous dialogue, and quick wit. In Ice Station Santa, Sam & Max journey to the North Pole after being attacked at their office by a large robot, which was tagged as being sent by Santa. Read More...

Something Familiar At Blizzcon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of September 2008 - 03:03 PM ]
DirectTV's new host for Blizzcon 08! - Becky 'Aktrez' Young! If you were not able to snag up a Blizzcon ticket in the first go around, you were most likely sad. Then there came the second boost of tickets that flooded the market and got snagged up in mere minutes. So I bet you were sad again. Then Blizzard responded with, "Well if you can't be there in person, then we will televise it for you, for a small fee." So then you could be a bit happier. But then they just announced something that should make this site a bit happier about that. Read More...

Social Networks PWN Porn
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of September 2008 - 03:15 PM ]
Social Networks Now More Popular Than Porn We can all agree, the internet is for porn. Well at least according to a little song performed on Broadway. But that may not be all that true anymore or at least in the not to distant future. According to a researcher and author Bill Tancer, he wrote Click: What Millions of People are Doing Online and Why It Matters, the number of searches for the coveted reason to log online and use the magic porn box is down. Like down 10% since Al Gore invented the Interwebs. The short and simple, it use to be 1 in 5 searches were for porn where as now it is 1 in 10. Read More...

They just don't give up, do they?
by Stephanie Naboshek [ Wednesday, 26th of March 2008 - 07:18 PM ]
In light of the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto IV, I figured I'd deliver you all some more updates on EA's attempt to buy out Take-Two!Earlier this year EA attempted put out a bid on Take-Two, parent company to Rockstar and 2K games, and were rejected. After trying to make a bid again last month, EA once again ups it's anny and puts out yet another bid out on Take-Two. And once again - they got rejected!Although the press release on T2's site is pretty much written in Wall Street-lingo wrapped in an abundance of legal mumbo-jumbo, I was able to gather some details: -EA has upped it's offer to $26 a share for stock-holders of Take-Two.
