Well here is an interesting twist to the whole Final Fantasy XIII ten year plan. Just announced is the oddly named Final Fantasy XIII-2, a continuation to the story of FFXIII. I say it is odd because Square Enix tried this before with FFX-2 which didn't do as well as any of their wholly new story lined titles with Final Fantasy in the title. Lara Croft Is A Dirty Little Minx In The New Tomb Raider

Ok, so I might have to eat my previous words about the reboot for Tomb Raider. I may have been a bit quick to judge but in my defense that was back before anything real or tangible had been seen. I mean all we had was a rather unimpressive description of the story. Well now we have a good look at the new vision that Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix are taking the game. I will have to say I am extremely impressed with what we have here. Time For A Tomb Raider Reboot

Looks like it is that time again. You know the time to brush the dust off a franchise that paid off well in the past because we are running out of original ideas. Square Enix just let loose the announcement of another new Tomb Raider game. A full on game at that and not just a downloadable PSN/XBLA game. Only thing is, they are going to try and tell us all where Lara Croft came from…except it isn't the Lara we already know. Finally What Deus Ex Game Play Will Look Like

Up until now we have been given pre-rendered scenes and clips to show off Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Those clips did have some gorgeous visuals no doubt. I mean look at the studio and publisher for it, it's kind of what they are known for. But in the end, none of that did all that much to show off what we will actually get to control during the game. I also mean really control since the last "Game Play" clip was more scripted scenes than anything. Dungeon Seige III Gameplay Trailer Released

What a way to kick off the Labor Day weekend! With PAX currently going on, there's going to be a lot of great stuff coming out of the convention and the first thing we get to kick off this holiday weekend is the new Dungeon Siege III Game play Trailer from Square Enix and Obsidian Entertainment. I have now watched this trailer three times and I still don't know what to say. We see a warrior type character and a caster archetype showing off the hack 'n' slash style game play we've come to expect from this dungeon crawler. Now That Revolt From Deus Ex Can Be Seen

Earlier, we got to see some new screen shots for Deus Ex. Really nice shots. In fact, to me they looked like they were taken from another hi-res trailer we would be getting in the near future. Deus Ex Let's You Revolt By Shanking People

The Sights Of Final Fantasy XIV

We got a release date for the game and a view of what the PC box will look like, but what about an update on what the game looks like. We haven't had a good one of those since around the time of E3. Am I right? Of course I am. Well let's take a look at some of the new creatures to kill and environments to come to us this September 30th. Having had actual hands-on with the beta of the game, I can assure you that what you see below is what the in-game will look like; if you have a system that can handle it. Finally A Date For Final Fantasy XIV

The fantasy is back and it is never final as Square-Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XIV will have a global PC release date of September 30th. For those who will get the Collector's Edition, they will be able to access the game eight days prior to the Standard Edition. The prices for the Standard and Collector's Edition are $49.99 and $74.99, respectively, which is really not that bad for what they offer in the Collector's Edition. Read More...

E3 2010 Hands-On: Final Fantasy XIV

Now here is a title that I was overly excited to get to look at, and that is all I planned on happening this year at E3. Little did I know we would actually get to play hands on this up-and-coming bad-ass "sequel" in the Final Fantasy franchise. Hands-on with two of the major components for an MMO to boot: the character creation and a bit of the combat system. Let me break them down into two sections for you, with pictures. Square Enix Announces 4 New Digital Downloads

Square Enix is pumping titles out like BP's oil leak. Square Enix just announced that they will have four new digital titles. Two for WiiWare and two for XBox Live and PlayStation 3. WiiWare is getting The Tales of Bearsworth Manor™: Puzzling Pages™ and The Tales of Bearsworth Manor™: Chaotic Conflicts™. While XBox Live and PlayStation 3 are getting NecroMachina™ and Space Invaders: Infinity Gene™. Along with these titles, Square Enix will be announcing two new iPhone titles as well. Read More...

Kane To Lynch - 'She'd Better Be Worth It'
